Nice, I'll snipe it on eBay at some point, when I can win it for less than $60, so I can experience the DLC without directly giving money to Gamefreak, because I don't really feel they deserve any of my money for how they've handled literally everything about this generation.

Call me back when cosmetics aren't consumable any more. That's literally the dumbest design choice I've seen in any game, and seems to be the only game doing it, too...

@JustMe - Dare I ask what your take on Marnie is? Yeah, Blue was my first Pokémon game, and Charizard my favorite Pokémon since the beginning. Gen 1 is definitely not my favorite Pokémon game by a long shot, but did way more for the series than Sword and Shield did. Honestly, Emerald and BW2 are my favorite main series games in the franchise. Not that you'll give a ***** since you seem to be judging me based solely on my profile pic though.

I love her design, but I felt she was such a boring character, especially considering she's technically responsible for the 'antagonist' team, and interacts with the player way more than she does them, and...ugh. Just like everything in Sword and Shield, so much wasted potential.

My roomate was excited to buy it for the three of us... he's played it once, as has my other roommate, and I keep putting it off. Me and my other roommate are in pretty good shape already, so we haven't really touched it since that one night, but I think it's still buried somewhere deep in our backlogs...

Now that's depressing... it's bad enough Alphadream went bankrupt, but let's face it, Nintendo will probably make a new Mario and Luigi game eventually. But Yo-Kai Watch? Who else is going to publish that? I'm legitimately really upset about this...

Consumable cosmetics must be the stupidest, most awful idea I've ever seen in a game literally ever, and guess what? Those are in this game. Give me a break, this game's a joke, and they could have fixed that with this update, too...

OMG, THEY ACTUALLY DID IT...THEY INVERTED FLUDD CONTROLS!!! Well, they implemented the one thing I wanted more than anything, so I guess I'll have to stick to my word and buy it...but, my birthday is tomorrow, AKA one day before this game comes out, so my roommate is getting it for my birthday, so I guess I'm actually not doing so!

That's weird. GameStop let my roommate make THREE pre-orders just yesterday afternoon. It took a bit to process though.

You can play...as the Champions?! Yes!!! I always wanted them to expand on their backstories and such, and now I won't have to merely theorize about such things! Like, that alone sold me on the game, but November 2020?! That's not long at all!

Ugh, it's about time... can't wait for 2022 where they add the OTHER Nintendo reference items too... @_@

@Yanina It's almost like they're preparing for a certain... announcement...of guest starring in a popular fighter...at some point in the future...and what better way to encourage that then to have your entire series be playable on that same system? 🤔

Yeah...good luck doing it for a franchise where you apparently absolutely have to play the first two to get the most out of the third, most popular and talked about one of the series, that some gamers haven't even done due to the first two never touching Nintendo consoles for some reason. Definitely as accessable as Pokémon. Will be a breakout hit.

I'll say it again if you're really going to make an article like this with no poll: I would have bought a classic style Lego series featuring Mario and co. Day 1. But this... I've seen multiple people playing this as they were meant to, and the sets just get literally destroyed while you play whether you're trying to play seriously or not. I can't see these keeping many kids' attention too long, either. :/

Too bad Blizzard itself doesn't deserve ANYTHING in Smash. :/

IDK, I think it represents the quality of the series pretty well, ngl.

I personally won't touch it due to how poorly Nintendo treated the Wii U version, and all my progress being on that one. Don't get me wrong, it was great, but there are files for the newer Pokemon in the Wii U version that are just literally not doing anything, which honestly still pisses me off.

I was expecting no news about games I really cared about, and I was right. Cadence of Hyrule is cool, but I REALLY didn't like Crypt of the Necromancer, so I'm never going to bother with that one despite Zelda. SMT news was super unexpected but cool. The other news was just bleh.

Huh, the rumor was kind of right after all... time to expect Bayonetta 3, BOTW2, and Metroid Prime 4 news and end up getting none of that!
