If you or any little ones in your life are fans of the hugely popular Peppa Pig, you'll be pleased to hear that a brand new game based on its beloved characters is coming to Switch and other platforms later this year.
Called My Friend Peppa Pig, this new adventure game is being published by Outright Games. Players will jump into Peppa's world as their very own character; you can customise your own animal avatar, play with Peppa, and visit iconic locations from the TV show such as the beach, the Snowy Mountains, and even Peppa's house.

Set off on a one of a kind adventure and interact with beloved characters from Peppa's World. Play with George and Mummy Pig at Peppa's house, help Daddy Pig find his lost glasses, or jump in muddy puddles together, whatever happens in the story is up to the player.
"Peppa Pig is a global smash hit and we're so excited to bring this world to life in a brand-new console video game," says Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. "This is a game for all young children and their parents to enjoy together, exploring Peppa's world in this brand-new adventure, and we couldn't be more excited for it to release this Autumn."
The trailer gives us a release date of 22nd October and the game will launch for $39.99.

Cooking Mama: Peppa Pig. Cook over 80 different pork recipes, from sausage casserole to bacon sarnies!
This will have an impossible time competing with the $3 Android apps.
Parents aren't going to be so inclined to give their little ones an expensive Nintendo Switch with a $40 game.
Someone tell Caddy!
Caddicarus will be delighted.
@RupeeClock I can agree with this, I've seen Paw Patrol PS4 and Switch games go to prices under $20 and still sit on shelves.
They are just letting anything on the eshop for any price these days
What will Lucina be up to this time, I wonder?
Oh no... I really hope this doesn't pop up on my daughters' switch news screen or I wont hear the end of this.
It's really sad that I want to buy this just to tell people I own the Peppa Pig Switch game.
My son turns 3 next week and loves Peppa Pig. Brilliant place to start! 😄👍
GOTY. I fully expect BOTW 2 to be delayed until next year to avoid competing
Hmm. Might have to get this for the granddaughter, she'll be 4 soon. Get her started on her gaming journey, on console instead of Iphone or Kindle Kids apps.
What's up with the characters' voices in the trailer above? They all sound so off for some reason.
Tommy Tallarico really needs to get this game for the Intellivision Amico. I feel it would had been a good seller for that console.
I mean, this is kind of in the same league as that DC: Superhero Girls game. I'm not going to complain about it because I'm completely outside of its demographic.
I can hear Caddicarus's screams of anguish already
Glad to see some comments mentioning Caddicarus. I will look forward to later in the year where hopefully we will have a new video.
I hate myself for knowing this, but the voices for Peppa and Daddy Pig are off. That doesn't sound like Richard Ridings to me, who other than Daddy Pig voiced Horny in Dungeon Keeper (and many other games!).
@Matl yeah different actors clearly, especially Daddy Pig! Illustrations aren't bang on either, Georgie isn't right
@Millvain I was literally just typing up the same trivia ^_^
Oh, Peppa has had about 4 or 5 different voice actors by now I think.
@sikthvash Great minds
❗Wont this upset the Islamic fundamentalists?
Oh drat, a few years too late for my kiddos to enjoy it - they've moved on to TMNT and Gumball and Minecraft/Roblox now.
I think a children's cartoon cart racer game would be a trip, though! Peppa Pig, Charlie & Lola, Pocoyo, etc...
Thank the gods my son is now into more grown up stuff now (1½ years older makes such a difference.) He would have been all over this and Paw Patrol. He's into a lot of Cartoon network stuff and loving the studio Ghibli films.
Oh man! I was hoping this was a 3D game so we could see what Peppa and the other characters really look like when seen from "their fronts"
Peppa pig DS nostalgia.....
After the awful showing of the past 3 Peppa games, I’m expecting a bland and uninspiring game here. I mean, look at George. Look at him. And George and Daddy Pig’s voice... yeah they were all recast for the game.
Richard Ridings didn't voice horny in the Dungeon Keepers.
He narrated between chapters and other random voice lines during gameplay, didn't he?
Peppa for Smash! Lucina has a score to settle!
"We don't have an exact release date just yet, but we do know that the game will launch for $39.99 when it arrives this autumn."
Game releases October 22nd, 2021 ... According to the trailer.
"interact with beloved characters" ok, where are these beloved characters? Behind the ones that are mocked for their very existence and are very rude to everyone?
the voices sound weird and their faces just look wrong
Would be a great joke gift if it wasn’t so damn expensive for what it is
It sounds like Peppa's voice actor has been smoking a pack a day.
This is it boys. Peppa really is coming to smash this time
@HammerGalladeBro I have multiple Peppa Pig toys for my daughters and I can tell you it looks somewhat disturbing
I'm not sure half a year from now equates to "very soon" for a playdate, in the eyes of a six-year-old. But okay. ^^
That said Peppa Pig is such a darling show that they had better make both a funny and clever game game out of this, or they would quite frankly be insulting their audience.
I love how they all have new voice actors when the old ones were better or is it just the quality of the video?
Their heads look like ding-dongs.
Someone alert Caddicarus.
@RupeeClock You'd be surprised.
Pigs with 4 eyes.... !
Good game for little kids, but it shouldn't be cost more than 19 bucks.
Awesome! I’ve purchased a Nintendo Switch for my 3 year old, and he will love this!
@RupeeClock says you! I’m buying this for my 3 year old! Have fun with garbage add filled games on phones 🤣
At least it has a slightly more creative name than the Nintendo DS and Wii’s “Peppa Pig: The Game”.
@RupeeClock You must not peruse the the underlayers of the Nintendo eShop much. One of my most played games was only 9 cents: Ding Dong XL. I have other games that were free. NOT free to play, I mean outright free. There are about 3 publishers on Switch that make a good living offering super cheap games and just outright giving away game to customers as promotions. Baltaro and Quibic games are two standouts in the ultra cheap field. Surprisingly most of the games are actually pretty good. Drageous is another publisher like those just one step down in terms of quality and amount of content.
@thinkhector
Yes, but how many of those borderline or totally free games are official Peppa Pig games?
You may've missed the point here.
@RupeeClock My point was that you don’t have to put up with garbage ad filled mobile games anymore because the Switch offers really low price points for games. (Also Pepe Pig.)
@thinkhector
Do you really think that Peppa Pig apps that cost $3 are going to be ad supported?
