Wow, this looks awesome! The setting is awesome and man does this give off some major nostalgic feeling. Darn shame it's not on the 3DS though, it seems like that kind of game that you would find on a handheld console.

@themightyboost That is a huge problem to overcome, but they most likely can get new customers if they go through with this strategy.

@shani I get that she can improve, and that Metroid (if it actually gets made) doesn't exactly require a very talented actor to lead the movie. I just don't see her being Samus, even if she can do the stunts herself. I know I'm being biased against her, it's just that her roles in The Expendable 3 and Furious 7 just didn't sit well with me.

Hmmm, it would be great if Nintendo can get support from EA. While I personally don't like most of their game catalogue, they do have a wide range of customers under their grasp.

If this actually does happen, hopefully it means that Nintendo systems gets more sales as a result.

@shani Of course Metroid isn't some cinematic masterpiece that requires a person with an absurd level of acting talent. I'm not even sure how you got that out of my comment.

@Peace-Boy I think Square helped with some of the development. But for the most part Silicone Studio is the main developer.

No thank you, her acting in Expendables 3 and Fast and Furious 7 was an absolute train wreck. While those movies don't exactly require you to be a thespian, she was remarkably bad compared to the rest of the cast.

Mhmm, hopefully this is true and that Kingdom Hearts 3 will get ported too.

@BulbasaurusRex Oh I agree, I don't mind the EU being retconned. Some stories were just way too out there, and made a mess of the Star Wars timeline.

The EU is still there, it's just not longer canon and it's not like that matters anyway. I see so many people throw a hissy fit about it, and say that it's canon to them. So why does it matter if Disney retcons the EU if people are still considering it to be canon.

@Trinexx - I wouldn't say that it's underrated, but that it's not as popular as it could be.

It was mediocre to decent, everything was good up until E3 and then just died down.
