I’m still scarred by how awkward the running animation was and how much the game made me see it.

I was going to be seriously disappointed if this was that big scoop, I mean I already figured the reporter was grand standing, but still this would have been detrimental to my sense of intrigue.

I’ve even had drift in a Pro controller, and with that went years of faith in Nintendo hardware. I still trust their software to do what it’s supposed to, and be of top quality. Just sadly, no longer confident with them as a whole. In some defense, I’ve had issues with Sony and Microsoft this generation, those controllers were submitted to community use, so a bit rougher with more variables, but I’ve still been less than enamored with the industry as a whole when it comes to controllers.

I am unsure, I get most RPGs in physical format, but this is pretty small, I’ll probably download it. I regret not downloading Luigi’s Mansion some, even if I saved $10 getting physical.

Disney’s foolish, by the art alone, this game should be made. Studio has a good track record too.

The developers literally call this a communication game, it’s hardly in wonder they want you to live together and communicate. I think it’s a bit more telling that sharing is such an audacious move on their part, however, the restrictive nature of a lead player is a bit of a different story. Perhaps being able to re-elect the resident representative would be a nice touch. That way people can take turns taking the lead on the island.

I played Friends of Mineral Town so much that I’m kinda surprised I forgot it was a gba title. Probably going to get this, even tho I don’t love the screens, I get that they were trying to capture the spirit of the original. A little on the nose, as I think they could have pushed it a bit further. Almost wish they just used better sprites. Still excited.

This sort of game is begging to be a download. What an inconvenience a card would be in my opinion.

I doubt it, but would be unfortunate if true, most of their games are homogenizing into a very similar template. Not always a bad thing, but is uninspired imo.

The longer the wait the more possible large scale disappointment may be over the content. Not speaking of myself really, just this happens every time Nintendo “takes too long.” Happens when they are timely too tho, so idk.

It’s not worry, it’s just after two plus years after the announcement, people want to see something.

Mythicals are so stupid. Never in game. Just hand outs. Pretty sure an in game quest would do more for the series than a GameStop giveaway.

Greninja is not a surprising win. I am glad it isn’t Charizard, Pikachu, or Mewtwo personally.

Still my favorite, potential most memorable PS2 game, I could not resist buying it again. Especially with Freestyle mode, which is a god send of an edition.

Happy for those excited for this direct, but this is a general disappointment for me. The game is close enough to release, and I’m going to get it either way.

Any Persona and Catherine would be excellent, as well as Nocturne. Anything else would be absolute gravy on top.

I don’t know why they bothered with cloud saves sometimes, but it’s almost assuredly referring to dlc, not micro transactions. Tho, if they were to test the waters, it would probably be Animal Crossing.

I get they’re are a lot of Fire Emblem characters, too many I mean, but the sword fighter thing is weird to me.

@Anti-Matter I play it with traditional controls as it is now. Such a shame they overpriced the game, it’s really a gem.

Normally I wouldn’t care, but the sheer fact that the game was review bombed for this reason, would make it a real shame.

They certainly love targeting that maximum price point, but with the mobile market they sure go for these mythical numbers, honestly who wants to pay ten bucks a month, for what is essentially nothing.

I was hoping for another path to make the expansion worth purchasing, but I didn’t envision that being a new, underground house. I’m intrigued.

I’m so excited. I loved 5, but this is still my favorite DMC, even it that’s somewhat nostalgia at this point.

@gaga64 while that is unfortunate, it helps curve this trend of developers releasing games in broken, or incomplete states. I suppose word of mouth, and peer reviews would be there to save the day in this instance, as well as software discounts.

I am beyond amused by this, I mean I like the character, but it’s more about the ripple effect across the Internet. I love Fire Emblem, and I’m not surprised Nintendo does too. Tho this isn’t exciting enough to want to watch the whole Sakurai Presents.

I’ve always been thankful I couldn’t wait the extra week and bought it on my One X. I still hope they figure it out eventually on Switch.

For real. What on earth is the hold up here? I know you want some of this theme money, and I’m literally dying to give it to you.

I’d be somewhat shocked if Breath of the Wild 2 doesn’t come out in 2020, they need something to tide the release of new hardware.

Lol, nah, I can’t tell if it’s just the CGI versus practical effects, but Baby Yoda is miles cuter.

What I did was rotate Pokémon all the time. I didn’t really narrow my team down til after I had all eight badges. I often brought disadvantageous Pokémon into gyms, usually with a safety net ace in my pocket.

Tl;dr I played the games story with roughly 18 different Pokémon, plus some flavor of the minute mon.

I wouldn’t have thought my respect could drop any lower for these types, but even after three years I still forget to consider the Trump angle, and just wow, how pathetic.

In truth, game freak is a B list developer with an A list property. The franchises success often over shadows that fact. I don’t much mind when this affects the presentation or performance, but it’s a bummer how much this tappers back their ambition. Such as their approach with the Wild Area, it’s role is to be the hot new piece of marketing, but they hampered it in hopes of gathering intel on their next game rather than taking big risks and strides in this game.

Ultimately I’m here to play Pokémon, and perhaps that is the route of the problem, either an apprehension to innovate that could alienate fans (tho recent controversy suggests that isn’t it) or the much more malignant laziness as the series will sell regardless.

Lol, no. The same rules should apply, that’s just life. Every career can be volatile, especially in entertainment. I don’t feel sorry for him.

Water was the most difficult choice, in the end I went with Mudkip, but it just as easily could have been Totodile, or Froakie.

It is better than I had hope, I mean I’m gonna continue to play on my One X, but the switch version is fun. It feels like Overwatch and that is pretty cool in my opinion. It’s worth playing.

The motion control is disappointing tho.

@ClaytThaGreat I had an alright time honestly, I do need to get an Ethernet adapter though, but I will say I had to turn motion aiming off sadly. With the frame right, I felt the motion didn’t do any favors, and didn’t seem to work will with every hero anyway.

I think they’d be better off implementing immediate respawning like Celeste, and perhaps removing lives in one mode for causals, and implementing life stock for retro enthusiasts.

@AshFoxX I only said Paradise, because it seems most likely. I’d much rather Takedown.

I’d much prefer Burnout Paradise Remastered, but you know who can’t be bothered.

I hope they steer clear of “New” Super Mario Bros, Id much prefer something akin to Rayman Origins as far as aesthetics go.

If I had a bunch of golden weapons I’d be concerned about cross saves, but I tired quickly of comp, as there is a lot of blame, and little objective play going on lol. Heard to many people melt down for nothing and throw winning games with their toxicity. Love me some quick play tho.

HMs should never return. The two alternatives since their disposal have been more than adequate, and never are a hassle.
