Digital sales are on the rise, so while sales may have dipped below 1998 at retail, it doesn’t necessarily mean game sales were bad.

The game is gorgeous, but it saddens me how much attention it will take from more ambitious games, for a lack of better words. Remakes are fine and all, but I think Nintendo should price accordingly. With Crash and Spyro having three game collections for considerably less, the offerings here just seem quaint. I know they have the dungeon maker, but the only interesting part of that is locked behind an amiibo.

It does bother me, but will also never, ever effect me. I’d be a much better painter if I was diligent as this guy was playing BotW, like wow.

A lot of you seem to think he just out of the blue admitted to being a horrible person, and that he wasn’t ousted by an ex-girlfriend’s blog that was corroborated by others. Yeah, what a hero. I feel so badly that his work was cut from a high profile project, woe is him. The easy dismissal of such behavior is abhorrent.

@Lupin I am one of those people, and I can’t wait to experience a good game in this series. I don’t even remember what one I played, but... eh. Stoked for this tho.

Looks amazing, and having read the article I know I’m just waiting for a western release date, not an announcement.

Wow. Really, no one really knew it was Cross on PlayStation? I get not saying it, but baffles me no one knew, especially with how up in arms many fans get about it being the ultimate, and only worthwhile lineage of consoles.

@Zuljaras quite possibly, but as it is now no systems cross play on Overwatch anyway.

@DJKeens EA is a perplexing entity from the gamer perspective. They survive completely on their licenses. That said, I am shamefully optimistic of Respawn’s Star Wars game. Terrible fate of that company to split off Activision only to be bought by EA 🤷🏻‍♂️

$40 price tag, this game isn’t really that big a file on other systems. Tho, I think they are doing people a favor, games like this should be installed.

It depends, does the game run at 60 frames? Motion control would need to be disabled, I’m worried about playing OW on WiFi btw. I absolutely needed LAN on PS4 to have a good time.

I have significant doubt, the other three are either much more relevant, or had huge amount of fan request and was perceivably impossible to some. SNK seems more left field than persona. Ryu Hayabusa seems like a more credible leak. I have reservations for both tho.

If they offered 10 gold coins, maybe, this game is taking its nostalgia versus some real heavy hitters around release. I wonder how it will do at $60 a pop.

I’m pretty tepid on Crash, but I’d love Spyro to get a new AAA game.

I’m actually pretty hyped for this, move the art, and the energy. I love the beat em up genre, glad to see games are trying to evolve it as of late.

The vampire woman confounded me the first two fights, but then I whooped her... so I can imagine doing that with out taking a hit. The twin headed dragon I had to abuse potions tho. I’d have to practice that a lot to do it no hits with a dagger. Wow.

Zangehtsu was the only fight I had to try four or more times tho, I think I was under leveled at the time, because his pattern wasn’t too hard but when I misstepped I took a lot of damage.

I mean clearly Hotline Miami. Also I don’t know what else to ask for, but if I did, I would still say Hotline Miami.

@saintayu well Skyrim isn’t Doom. They ported a large number of current gen titles, many of which people would initially scoff off the prospect. It doesn’t take much reasoning to see why that garnered a lot of attention.

Well, I think I like him best personally. I love the archery focus, and the rogue nation aspect. Either Claude or Eldegard I suppose. Leaning towards Golden Dear.

They low balled it a bit too much for the system to live too long I think. It’s predecessor coming off the Switch’s success could theoretically afford to be more future proof. Just my two cents of course.

The gap will be huge, however, if the last generation (or two) are any signifiers, then it will take ages for the new gen to build up a library.

This is a little ridiculous to me, we don’t even have analog trigger buttons, and the quality on the joycon and the pro are considerably less than every other Nintendo made controller. I’ve had to replace a con and a pro already.

That isn’t the end of the world for me, but it’s hardly heading towards a new standard atm.

I can’t believe it, but I’m stoked Splatoon 2 outsold Pokemon. I am genuinely surprised, I only know one other American with the game, I did have two friends but one sold off his whole Switch in 2017, for a lack of games lol. The dork.

I find it interesting MK8 Deluxe was able to bear CTR, I mean people are right to pick it over CTR, just you’d think being new(er) versus 2+ years on the eshop would give an advantage of sorts.

Kind of weird considering indie games paved the way for PS4 in the beginning, but a couple AAA’s later and it’s a dead branch lol.

@NintendoByNature it is a great game, but it definitely feels like a game from 2001 you know? It also founded this sub genre of hack and slash, and while there is something to be said about that, it also means tons of games have out done it in the combat department. Unlike DMC3, the first to me, seems more suited to hardcore and the nostalgia crowds.

I love the series, but Capcom is high, for thirty (US) you get all three original PS2 games on four,
maybe five other platforms.

The game looks like good fun, but unless you use a second game voucher on it, it is massively overpriced. Nintendo is very versed in discount games, but not with pricing them. I do feel they maybe left something back for a direct in August or September, but it’d have to be substantial to warrant the extra $20.

Literally starved for information, I’m just glad I found Duel Links, that was a much needed nostalgia distraction. I’m still surprised they went on complete drought with this games information. Guess they plan to bulls hype from June to launch.

@Agramonte not sure about internationally, but Amazon suffered sales tax in the states, which dampens the savings in my point of view.

Stellar. Ill use this offer for Mario Maker and either Marvel UA3, or Fire Emblem 3H. If I still have my second voucher come Aug 30, Astral Chain will then be the obvious choice for myself.

Seems like a super long shot, but paper Mario style would be hilarious. I like the notion of Mario Land style as well.

@nessisonett they are so easy to summon, just have a tuner monster and fill the level requirements like a ritual summon. I practically rely on synchro summoning in duel links lol. I think they are interesting.

The game got to 25 mil players in mere days, certainly there was a reasonable amount of demand for a switch release, whether you’re personally aware of it or not lol.

@Dirty0814 that is simply absurd. Even games that are unable to be sold legally can be redownloaded by owners. I encourage you to buy games however you see fit, but a fallacy is a fallacy.

Lol, for when you want to pay tax and get a plastic case. I’ve already embraced digital. I do sort of feel for the hardcore physical people, but ultimately I don’t think it’s a big deal. In the long run they are both just a license.

It’s strange to see so many people complaining about dlc in 2019. It’s an option, don’t like it just move on, but quit dramatizing it.

The lack of video and screenshots tho, by all means super valid complaints. I have a feeling it’s fine, but yeah I’d wait.
