I also own about 60-70 physical games as well, but some like Diablo 2 are digital only, or others half digital like Borderlands Handsome Collection or Bayonetta.
Lastly, considering Nintendo loves to leave base storage low and let the buyer decide how much storage they need, I think a Dual SD slot would be perfect within their typical design philosophy. Only other option is swappable SSD/HD drives, but those aren’t always the easiest for a consumer to deal with, plus it would likely be proprietary requiring licensed/branded units upping the costs…. And that sucks WAAAY more for the consumer than just having a second SD slot for data management
Snagged this on my main and secondary just recently but haven’t played the game since right before Sunbreak. For those who haven’t had the chance to play it’s a mixture of Pokémon, Breath of the Wild, and Minecraft/Ark.
You start with nothing just like Minecraft/Ark and must start harvesting tree and rocks to craft equipment for your base/gear. You also must craft the Pal Spheres in order to capture Pals. Gameplay is a continuous loop of Harvest>Craft>Explore>Hunt/Capture>Repeat.
The battles are real time, and like Pokémon, you need to damage the Pals before capture. You can also opt to just knock them out. Knock out or Capture provides resources from said Pal, like wool from the Lamb Pal. You can have your Pals help work your base by having them auto gather/craft for you freeing you up to explore.
Truly there is a lot of potential, what’s there is most definitely fun. And I don’t typically enjoy the Ark/Minecraft style of play….
And it’s been an awesome 7 years! I hope the Switch 2 is fully BC and I can just transfer my library like one would do with PC.

I would love more, but it all depends on the average game size as well as if I can just transfer over my current SD Card.
If they take a RoG Ally approach, load from an SSD but allow you to run certain games from Micro SD/Transfer over to SSD then I’m fine with 128gb, tho 256 would be better.
I’m also going to hazard a guess and say there won’t be any 4k texture and asset packs to deal with, only 1080p with possible DLSS upscaling. If that’s the case then the file sizes shouldn’t bloat much over what they already are on Switch. Maybe a 20% increase. If this is the case then we can manage with 128gb internal and micro SDs.
It largely depends on if game will need to load from SSD or can also run from Micro SD, as well as file sizes and backwards compatibility. All this factors in. But if things largely remain the same as Switch 1, things should be fine with 128gb internal. Would also be nice if we could upgrade it manually without needing a proprietary SSD.
So with the rumor that MS is possibly bringing exclusives to a rival platform (hopefully switch), my hopes are for Pentiment, Fallout, Fable and Hi Fi Rush. I think all of those would do excellent on Switch.
@Serpenterror yeah I know how they function, bought an R4 for my DS Lite about 10 years ago from my friend so I could play NES and SNES games on the go. I was just putting it into the most basic layman’s terms I could think of to help people understand how they work and why they’re at the very least a very grey area. I would not suggest anyone that cares about their system and data buy or use one of these. Any time you run something not cleared by Nintendo you run the risk of a system brick. And it’s actually happened with cleared titles in the past, but in those cases Nintendo will replace your system / data if they can, they def would not for this!
@thedicemaster Yeah i wasn’t sure how well this worked cause I didn’t fully look in to it, just noticed it on Reddit a few days ago.
@TruthisRare basically it’s memory card that inserts into the cartridge slot of a system, and due to hardware/software it has on it, it tricks the system into reading the card as a retail cartridge, allowing you to bypass security and run roms/homebrew apps. Pretty sure it’s illegal, at least while the system is still at market.
Looks really good, so I’m hopeful the rest of it comes together well. In a sea of Metroidvanias I’m curious how it’ll stand out. Also curious if it’s got rpg elements or not. Looks a bit like Soulsvania with the parrying and such, which is fine.
Def picking this up, love everything Devolver tosses our way, and was a huge fan of Sim Earth way back when….. even though I didn’t understand it all that well lol.
@progx Yeah it’s sucks that Embracer gobbled all these studios up only to slowly shutter all their doors. I honestly don’t understand why they’re just shuttering instead of trying to sell off. You’d think there’s more value in selling a studio/IPs than just axing the whole thing…..
I’m glad I didn’t watch the actual show and just looked up announcements, trailers and winners….. I woulda been quite upset to see people rushed off stage, and music drowning out people’s speeches and such…..
@progx no I know, I just meant like let the studios go “free” as in releasing them from their current prison. You’d think there would have been some legal protection in place with these studios from Embracer messing up so badly…..
Now if they’ll just continue Ghost Trick too….. just finished that last night (had it on DS but never finished) and that was a brilliant game and time!
Starting to feel like Embracer should be shut down, and let its studios go free. They obviously have not managed things well! Feel like they took a huge gamble on a deal and that’s ended up costing a lot of people their jobs and livelihoods. Extremely sad.
Never played DBBT, are they just fighting games like DBFZ or more in line with XV/Kakarot? Either way looks awesome, and I hope it comes to Switch / Switch 2, but if not I’ll grab on Xbox.
Edit - If it is a Fighter, hopefully it’ll have some interesting single player stuff. Not big into online matches, but I do enjoy a good fighter if it has an interesting story mode or single player experience.
@Nancyboy it does suck, but unfortunately that’s kinda the gaming economy we’ve shaped. Pre-orders/pre-order incentives/internet connections have allowed game companies to sell us games that haven’t fully been developed. So now we have to rely on faith that devs can come through and eventually give us a final product worth having.
I grew up during the 80s/90s, when games came fully developed (mostly!). They had to, since there wasn’t a wide spread on internet yet. Pc gaming was the only place that received patches for bugs in the 90s/early 2000s…. Think my first 2 games with patches were Diablo 2 and The Sims 1…. Possibly StarCraft 1 or Warcraft 2….
Anyways, the first time I had a console game that needed patching was around 360/Fallout 3…. We’ve all kinda gotten use to “Bugthesda” at launch cause their games are generally worth it. But I feel like other companies took notice and said, “hey, they’ll buy alpha versions of our games for full price and then they’ll wait for updates!” And so here we are….. games like this, MK1, Cyberpunk 2077, etc all launch with extreme amounts of roughness, and we’re just left to hope and pray the devs fix it….. Unfortunately in the states, I don’t know of any sort of major way to counter act this approach….other countries have laws/consumer protections to help prevent such nonsense, not us though!
@Tyranexx Ah that may have changed…. They were originally listed on the eshop separately during the first wave pre-order, and they’re still listed but “not available” now as I just checked. Peculiar. I’d be willing to bet you can buy them separately in the future, probably soon.
@Truegamer79 While I concur with Witcher 3 performance should make most games into mid XB1/Ps4 life cycle doable on Switch, that was also handled by Saber Interactive (who is currently working, tirelessly I’m sure, to get MK1 on Switch in better shape) and they are absolute MASTERS at porting it would seem. This is handled by a different port studio.
The saving grace here is that WB supports the switch pretty well, and as long as the sales do well they’ll see it’s worth their time and effort to fix things. Going by track record alone, WB doesn’t mind releasing games on Switch in a rough state (other platforms too, Knight was rough across the board), they do usually continue patch support for performance and such usually for a couple years.
WB might be a bit greedy, but they know not to bite the hand that feeds so to speak. Can think a few other companies that fall into that category (Blizz, whom I loved growing up…. And EA, who I also loved in the 80s and 90s)
@ozwally yeah I was hopeful it was Sabre, but Turn Me Up. Knight was a lot for PS4 and XB1 to handle, so I’m impressed it even runs at all on Switch. I still have faith in WB, even tho they’re very greedy (whew buddy MK1 micro transactions….) they did good by Hogwarts and that was a massive undertaking, MK11 and MK1, while rough compared to other versions, still have a decent frame rate (think MK11 is 30 in combat, and MK1 hits 60 most of the time depending on stage IIRC. Don’t judge by invasion stages as those can dip to like 5 fps, sheesh)…..all in all, MOST WB games run decent on switch, and MOST have continued support to increase that. Knight should get better over time. Still not upset with my purchase, portable Arkham is nice!
Those saying “ps3” games…. Um, only Asylum and City are ps3 era, Knight is only Ps4/Xb1/Pc/Switch. So it’s understandable that it runs rough on Switch. It’s also Unreal 3 which is tougher than Unreal 4 on Switch. And lastly, Knight ran rough on every platform at launch in case you forgot. 😉
@Scapetti WB has a decent track record of trying to get things in line as noted by MK11 and MK1 at launch vs present day. Still not great, but way better than their launch counterparts. Not sure if Sabre has anything to do with Batman port, but if they do, then expect it to get a lot better.
@ClaytThaGreat A lot of Game Pass titles also have the option to play via cloud. And oddly enough their cloud tends to work better than remote function. Go figure. But that’s likely how they’d do it, unless this is a Switch 2 plan, and switch 2 would have to be equal to or greater than Steam Deck for it to function well.
I would love to have my Game Pass available on my Switch. Would be great if someone they could work it in to benefit both parties, like a combo NSO/GPU sub that you can access on Switch and Xbox. But in all honesty, even if Nintendo required an NSO sub ($20 a year) to access GPU on Switch, without having NSO access on Xbox, it would still be worth the price of admission.
The only thing my Series X is missing is a good comfortable way to play remote or cloud… (I’ve got meh internet, and only IPhone/ipad to access)
Had Batman pre-order back when they delayed it, still haven’t put up a pre-order option even though it’s a week away lol.
That said, getting Batman, Octopia, and already have Outer Wilds, Steamworld Build, and Pokémon DLC all paid for. Fun month of releases, and thankfully a couple games I wanted got pushed to next year so that lightens the wallet. (Though I was REALLY looking forward to Fantasy Life i!)
I think the rough total across all games is about 83gb on the Switch, and I believe the largest current cart size is 64gb (and I don’t even know one game that uses that!) so no matter what not all games would fit on the cart regardless.
Still a great collection of games, currently having a blast on BL3 on a Moze playthrough. Next will be Fl4k then Zane. Did Amara on Xbox when the game originally launched, so saving her for last.
ReDead from OoT and Zombie doggos in Resident Evil, easily the most terrifying things in games. The only two things to make me jump and sweat. Outlast, Alien Isolation, Silent Hill…. Nope nada.
Granted my mother raised me on Stephen King, Aliens, Predator, and Michael Crichton movies so my tolerance was quite high. My sister would watch Friday the 13th, Halloween, and Nightmare on Elm Street, and I’d just chuckle at how campy that all was. But I’d have nightmares about T Rex from Jurassic Park and the freaking flying monkeys in Wizard of Oz. Go figure.
@the_beaver Couldn’t agree more, this has been a great, yet wallet busting, year for gaming. There’s also Steamworld Build and possibly Last Faith - curious how this turns out. Plus the Octopia dlc for Eastward. And debating on Hogwarts…. I’ve got it on Xbox, but would be easier to access on Switch. I know there’s a times on switch, where it’s more streamlined on Xbox/Ps5…. But that I can handle…. Curious as to the rest of the experience and any other changes….
@larryisaman I stand corrected, I hadn’t tried playing N64 offline. But it’s really not a far hop for Nintendo to either toss them on a cloud now or since it’s all running in one package now, have it run on various platforms (switch, switch 2, mobile). I believe something like this is their intent. It functions and looks way too close to Netflix to not be a “movable” service.
@DarthFoxMcCloud me too! It’s very hard for me to justify my NSO+ Family Sub currently. The first year I wrote it off because I got the Animal Crossing Happy Home DLC with the sub for my wife and I. Dlc was $35x2 if we were to buy it, or I could sub to NSO+ Family for the same $70. But now that we don’t play AC as much, the value for me is only in the NES/SNES/GEN/N64 etc titles. I rarely use online unless it’s to play with my kids, or the ultra rare occasion my friend and I play Diablo or Borderlands….. Yeah I got the MK Boost packs with the sub, but that’s another title I rarely play. So the value is def waning.
We need some super classics on there that make it a must have, like for me would be Chrono Trigger and Sim City for SNES titles…. Or dig up extra rare stuff you don’t see anymore like Robowarrior NES. Would also love the SNES and Genesis versions of Mortal Kombat 1-3 on there, but that’s a pipe dream like the others it seems. Sadly I can’t think of anymore N64 titles I’d really like to see on there….. n64 was basically Nintendo and Rareware for me, so unless we get Rare’s titles too, lol.
DS, and GameCube would be amazing additions to the service. Especially GameCube. Would love to see Metal Gear Twin Snakes, Eternal Darkness, and Phantasy Star Online Ep1&2 Grace the service.
The only other way I could see them boosting value is to add older Switch Nintendo titles to the service, like NSMB Deluxe, Capt Toad, etc the first year or two of Switch releases. But I doubt they’d do that, and they def wouldn’t add newer titles like Game Pass does…. Not unless we want to sub for $150+ a year. 😂
@GameOtaku @Don I’m not the choir, I’d much rather have a VC than NSO locked Nes/SNES/etc titles, but it is what it is. I was simply stating why it exists in the fashion it does.
And yes, Xbox and Sony both have Subs where you can also purchase said games. This would be perfect if Nintendo would copy it, but I doubt they will. There’s a big difference however! Both those companies offer newer games on those subscriptions, not just titles from the 80s and 90s. Those newer games sell those subscriptions, not the older titles. If Nintendo were to offer that suddenly, without anything else, I’m sure a large portion of their subscribers would drop out. They haven’t figured out what else they want to offer with their service besides some dlc/expansions to their games and older titles. That’s currently the main driving force behind NSO and NSO+. Cloud saves and ability to play games online is more or less a bonus.
MS and Sony have it worked in an opposite fashion. The driving force behind their subs originally was ability to play online, then they started offering a couple free games a month. And now it’s evolved into online+instant gaming library. There’s a hell of a lot of value in Game Pass, not sure on PlayStation side. But even if you buy say Starfield and already own thr 360 titles you want, the XB1 titles you want, and so on.,,. There’s still a lot of value there with all the indies and possibly other games you wouldn’t play otherwise. Again, not a luxury Nintendo currently has set up.
Nintendo has been behind on the online front of things for awhile, and subscription is also showing it.
I had an idea I sent to Nintendo the other day that would vastly increase its Family Plan NSO+, ability to share digital titles you and your family have purchased. You do this anyways with physical copies, might as well make it a feature for NSO+ and digital titles. That way my daughters can buy and share their digital games, and I can share some of my older digital titles I’ve acquired prior to having a family.
@smoreon It’s similar to Ant Arcade. NSO’s emulators are connected to servers, and I believe the servers run some of the games, if not all. The emulator file size doesn’t match an emulator loaded with roms. At least not SNES and N64 ones. Either way, with VC they had to port and emu each and every title to 3DS, Wii and Wii U separately. With a service like NSO handling the emulator, they only have to update the emulator core once to handle different hardware and all the games run, instead of taking the time to do that for each and every game per system.
The way the have it setup is much like moving Netflix from your Xbox to your PlayStation. You can still access the libraries regardless of platform. Previously it was more like moving an Xbox 360 game to a PS3. Required more effort and work. This is one of the reasons why they opted to lock it behind NSO, easier to manage and such.
The second reason is also related, people were complaining about buying way Mega Man X on 3 different Nintendo systems - 3DS, Wii and Wii U (was only an upgrade $2 cost if you moved your account from Wii to Wii U). They didn’t have the answer people wanted at the time, a singular purchase carrying to every platform…. Now, in a way, they do.
It sucks for the consumer, but on Nintendos side this more cost efficient.
@wiiware while I’m with you and prefer owning vc titles to an nso sub with titles….. I doubt it’ll happen. That would go against their perceived value of NSO, and more over, directly compete with NSO most likely. Plus, NSO is a “future proof” way for them to maintain older titles without having to pay for emulation porting every generation. Much like Netflix can offer it’s services on TVs and toasters, NSO should be able to be accessed on anything Nintendo wants to allow to access.
Side note, I’m praying this all means our games will carry over like how they did from 360 all the way to now.
@nessisonett This is true. Probably the most “gore” I could think of in network programming would be something like Family Guy stuff, X-Files, Supernatural, Buffy and the CSI shows….. CSI and Bones in particular could be on the edge sometimes. And I love all those shows, but it is kind of surprising to me that that kind of stuff is allowed, yet heaven forbid we allow a topless woman….. always makes me chuckle.
@nessisonett I think @SpeedRunRocks is referring to our broadcast networks rather than cable/pay. Amsterdam has a nightly local news broadcast featuring topless newscasters. That would never happen here, lol! However I would know more about local news and weather if that happened!
@Solomon_Rambling in the original Leisure Suit Larry for pc (1987 version), it would ask your age before playing, and if you put 65-99 it would jokingly warn you that playing the game could cause a heart attack. 😂😂
@PJ301178 Don Mattrick was a VERY large reason XB1 was going to have the horrible features, and turned into the dumpster fire it was at launch. He was FAR from a gamer. Completely outta touch with the gaming ecosystem, and was only a business man. He was the reason they were going to stop BC at XB1, as it was a prime feature of 360. Phil is much much different than that. He actually plays games, and more over, plays them with other players. This is why Phil is the good leader he is for Xbox.
This is something Nintendo typically has in common with Xbox, a lot of its employees, including higher ups, are gamers. Iwata, Miyamoto, and Reggie all gamers. And I firmly believe that plays a large factor in the quality and service we receive in the end.
A lot of people villainize Phil and Xbox…. But they also fail to understand that under Don’s leadership they axed like 11-12 studios. He was truly out to destroy that company. The acquisitions now, while large in some cases, are happening largely because they need to rebuild the damage he caused.
Only time will tell with Phil and Xbox, but I’m hopeful, and optimistic, that he’s genuine with his concerns towards gamers, the gaming community, and the gaming ecosystem. I truly believe he cares about preservation, and accessibility to the point where it doesn’t matter to where their games get played, as long as they’re played (aka purchased). And that benefits both Xbox and gamers. More accessibility for us, and should Xbox decide to drop out of the hardware space, they’re still covered well with software. This is no different than Nintendo in that aspect, Nintendo could drop hardware and still survive easily off of software and brand.
But I digress. I do hope I’m right, and Phil puts more Xbox Studios titles on more screens. I’d love to see the Fallout franchise, and Fable come to Switch / Switch 2, even if they are the older titles.
Wow, lotta vitriol and hate here. Smh. As someone who grew up with the Nintendo and Sega rivalry and watched it evolve into further Console Wars…. . Well as seen here there’s definitely still some deeply ingrained “brand loyalty” lingering around.
Personally speaking, this is a breath of fresh air compared to all the crap we’ve been spouted over the past couple decades…. Xbox has been a lot more consumer friendly and focused than either Sony or Nintendo have been. I’ve been a Nintendo fan since 1986, had 95% of all the consoles from all the companies since then, and while Nintendo is always my favorite, I cannot argue that xbox is leagues above either Sony or Nintendo in terms of consumer focus, one only needs to look at how Xbox has maintained backwards compatibility for 3 generations to see that, or how they’ve shared certain titles with other systems, like Cuphead and Ori.
Now, if Phil would just put his money where his mouth is and give us some proper Fallout on Switch…..
1v1 cross play could work, tho probably a pipe dream.
There would have to be some work tho, like frame locking both sides to the same fps, and better/more optimized net code. I haven’t played online, always been a single player/couch vs MK fan post arcade days. Nothing beats having a match against someone right next to you. That said I’ve browsed MK Reddit and forums, and last I heard there was still priority issues to work out. Aka host / p1 priority.
Bringing the games to modern consoles was a big plus, and the main reason I got the collection. I’m truly hopeful that in the next year we’ll see vol 2 and finally have MGS4 on modern consoles and NOT tied down to Ps3.

Backwards Compatibility alone will get my pre-order. However I do wish for OLED again, soooooo nice!
OLED, BC, extra storage options (like dual slot SD), Hall sticks, and ability to 1080p/30-60fps in handheld then you can have my first born!

Re: Video: We've Played Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown - Here's 12 Minutes Of Switch Gameplay
Looks really good, so I’m hopeful the rest of it comes together well. In a sea of Metroidvanias I’m curious how it’ll stand out. Also curious if it’s got rpg elements or not. Looks a bit like Soulsvania with the parrying and such, which is fine.
Re: Devolver's Chill Environmental Strategy Game 'Terra Nil' Blooms On Switch Next Week
Def picking this up, love everything Devolver tosses our way, and was a huge fan of Sim Earth way back when….. even though I didn’t understand it all that well lol.
Re: TimeSplitters Dev Free Radical Has Shut Down As Staff Share "Last Day" Messages
@Poodlestargenerica That explains a lot…. So they think they know money, but they definitely don’t know how to manage anything. Got it.
Re: TimeSplitters Dev Free Radical Has Shut Down As Staff Share "Last Day" Messages
@progx Yeah it’s sucks that Embracer gobbled all these studios up only to slowly shutter all their doors. I honestly don’t understand why they’re just shuttering instead of trying to sell off. You’d think there’s more value in selling a studio/IPs than just axing the whole thing…..
Re: Soapbox: This Year, The Game Awards Failed The Industry
I’m glad I didn’t watch the actual show and just looked up announcements, trailers and winners….. I woulda been quite upset to see people rushed off stage, and music drowning out people’s speeches and such…..
Re: TimeSplitters Dev Free Radical Has Shut Down As Staff Share "Last Day" Messages
@progx no I know, I just meant like let the studios go “free” as in releasing them from their current prison. You’d think there would have been some legal protection in place with these studios from Embracer messing up so badly…..
Re: Hands On: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Lays Out A Compelling Case On Switch
Glad to see Capcom carrying on this franchise!
Now if they’ll just continue Ghost Trick too….. just finished that last night (had it on DS but never finished) and that was a brilliant game and time!
Re: TimeSplitters Dev Free Radical Has Shut Down As Staff Share "Last Day" Messages
Starting to feel like Embracer should be shut down, and let its studios go free. They obviously have not managed things well! Feel like they took a huge gamble on a deal and that’s ended up costing a lot of people their jobs and livelihoods. Extremely sad.
Re: Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi Fans Spot New Trademark For 'Sparking! Zero'
Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Switch) - Two Solid Ports, One Technical Disaster
Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Switch) - Two Solid Ports, One Technical Disaster
@Tyranexx Ah that may have changed…. They were originally listed on the eshop separately during the first wave pre-order, and they’re still listed but “not available” now as I just checked. Peculiar. I’d be willing to bet you can buy them separately in the future, probably soon.
Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Switch) - Two Solid Ports, One Technical Disaster
Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Switch) - Two Solid Ports, One Technical Disaster
Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Switch) - Two Solid Ports, One Technical Disaster
@Tyranexx digital they are available separately
Re: Review: Batman: Arkham Trilogy (Switch) - Two Solid Ports, One Technical Disaster
@Scapetti WB has a decent track record of trying to get things in line as noted by MK11 and MK1 at launch vs present day. Still not great, but way better than their launch counterparts. Not sure if Sabre has anything to do with Batman port, but if they do, then expect it to get a lot better.
Re: Dave The Diver Teams Up With Dredge For An Epic New Crossover
Sweet! Like both of these games a lot, nice to see a fun little crossover! Need to get back into Dredge
Re: Xbox Reiterates Interest In Bringing Game Pass To "Every Screen" Including Nintendo Platforms
Re: Xbox Reiterates Interest In Bringing Game Pass To "Every Screen" Including Nintendo Platforms
This would be a major win
Re: Video: 12 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In December 2023
Had Batman pre-order back when they delayed it, still haven’t put up a pre-order option even though it’s a week away lol.
That said, getting Batman, Octopia, and already have Outer Wilds, Steamworld Build, and Pokémon DLC all paid for. Fun month of releases, and thankfully a couple games I wanted got pushed to next year so that lightens the wallet. (Though I was REALLY looking forward to Fantasy Life i!)
Re: Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box Has Been Rated For Switch
I think the rough total across all games is about 83gb on the Switch, and I believe the largest current cart size is 64gb (and I don’t even know one game that uses that!) so no matter what not all games would fit on the cart regardless.
Still a great collection of games, currently having a blast on BL3 on a Moze playthrough. Next will be Fl4k then Zane. Did Amara on Xbox when the game originally launched, so saving her for last.
Re: Soapbox: Losing Control - Why Zelda’s ReDead Strike Fear Into Our Souls
Go figure.
Re: Review: Astral Ascent - Probably The Best Roguelite Since Hades
@the_beaver Couldn’t agree more, this has been a great, yet wallet busting, year for gaming. There’s also Steamworld Build and possibly Last Faith - curious how this turns out. Plus the Octopia dlc for Eastward. And debating on Hogwarts…. I’ve got it on Xbox, but would be easier to access on Switch. I know there’s a times on switch, where it’s more streamlined on Xbox/Ps5…. But that I can handle…. Curious as to the rest of the experience and any other changes….
Re: Review: Astral Ascent - Probably The Best Roguelite Since Hades
Not me over her lookin like SpongeBob….”I don’t need it…. I don’t need it…. I don’t need it….. I NEEEEEED IT!!”
Re: Talking Point: So, Who Could Play Link, Zelda, Ganondorf In The Upcoming Zelda Movie?
Robert Downy Jr and/or Gary Oldman. They can play all the roles.

Annnnnndd that’s getting added to my wishlist….
Re: Nintendo's 330M+ User Accounts Will Be Foundation Of "Lasting Relationship With Consumers"
Re: Nintendo's 330M+ User Accounts Will Be Foundation Of "Lasting Relationship With Consumers"
Re: Nintendo's 330M+ User Accounts Will Be Foundation Of "Lasting Relationship With Consumers"
Re: Nintendo's 330M+ Accounts Will Be Foundation Of "Lasting Relationship With Consumers"
Re: Best 18+ Switch Games For Adults
@nessisonett This is true. Probably the most “gore” I could think of in network programming would be something like Family Guy stuff, X-Files, Supernatural, Buffy and the CSI shows….. CSI and Bones in particular could be on the edge sometimes. And I love all those shows, but it is kind of surprising to me that that kind of stuff is allowed, yet heaven forbid we allow a topless woman….. always makes me chuckle.
Re: Best 18+ Switch Games For Adults
@nessisonett I think @SpeedRunRocks is referring to our broadcast networks rather than cable/pay. Amsterdam has a nightly local news broadcast featuring topless newscasters. That would never happen here, lol! However I would know more about local news and weather if that happened!
Re: Best 18+ Switch Games For Adults
@Solomon_Rambling in the original Leisure Suit Larry for pc (1987 version), it would ask your age before playing, and if you put 65-99 it would jokingly warn you that playing the game could cause a heart attack. 😂😂
Re: Best 18+ Switch Games For Adults
Great list, lotta must haves! Would also add Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, Borderlands and Diablo 2 for sure.
Some indies would be Infernax, Corpse Party, and I think Leisure Suit Larry is between Indie/Retail so I’ll leave it here.
Re: Microsoft Will Think Of Nintendo Users As "Part Of The Xbox Community" Going Forward
Re: Microsoft Will Think Of Nintendo Users As "Part Of The Xbox Community" Going Forward
Re: Mortal Kombat 1 Poll Reveals Cross-play As Most Requested Online Feature
1v1 cross play could work, tho probably a pipe dream.
There would have to be some work tho, like frame locking both sides to the same fps, and better/more optimized net code. I haven’t played online, always been a single player/couch vs MK fan post arcade days. Nothing beats having a match against someone right next to you. That said I’ve browsed MK Reddit and forums, and last I heard there was still priority issues to work out. Aka host / p1 priority.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1
Bringing the games to modern consoles was a big plus, and the main reason I got the collection. I’m truly hopeful that in the next year we’ll see vol 2 and finally have MGS4 on modern consoles and NOT tied down to Ps3.
