I’m playing the amazing, the addictive, Monster hunter freedom unite on my iPad Air 2 with a controller.
This would be my most played game if it was on switch even though it’s an older game now it absolutely rocks.
Especially overcoming a really powerful monster after a 40 minute battle lol epic

So what’s the current overall sales at the moment? As in roughly?

Some people here are saying the guy who mentioned a drought is wrong to say that...but he really wasn’t. I love my switch but I’m under no illusion that we don’t have many big meaty games at all, mentioning things like Kirby don’t even come close to what other consoles are getting. Yes the switch is also a console, and looking at my brothers games on his consoles I can’t help but feel that we really are missing out on so many great games which is such a shame, as I really want that gap to be bridged so switch is in the running at getting games the same time as other platforms. Hopefully next year we will see this as 2 years gives devs time to work out the best way to deliver there games.
But it is irritating when fanboys get so disillusioned that we have the best thing going and we don’t miss out on much! Guess what!? We frigging do!

@maruse this! I too want these 2 games the most just so much polish and love in these games is unbelievable. The quality of darksiders 3 will defo not run on switch but I too won’t care as long as we get these two games.
I played the first one 5 times in a row lol on every difficulty and il do it again IF it comes to switch

I love the fact so much horror is coming to this console but I’d love to see some older games ported and enhanced.
I’d like to play Dante’s inferno on my switch and god of war for nostalgia reasons

Anytime I use an iPhone charger not done my apple it’s eventually stops working, or I have to fidget with the wire. The company that makes it are going to make a product where not everyone can replicate their quality so there’s a reason the 3rd party is so cheap.
It’s just a shame Nintendo’s stuff is so expensive.

@OorWullie layers of fear didn’t do it for me, I really tried, as horror is my fav genre but it seemed like a slog and didn’t keep me engaged. I might try it again as you speak highly of it, it just felt nothing was happening and I went in with the premise that it was a patient game?

I know better to get excited lol I’m going to wait as by the looks of it this will probably run bad or be full of bugs. Don’t mean to be negative as horror is my fav genre and switch is my fav console BUT if it’s not Nintendo or bethseda, I can’t see too many of these graphic intensive games running well on the switch. It’s going to end up being a 5 or 6 out of 10 at best is what my brain is saying but my heart wants a 8 to 10

@Shiryu honestly if you have android or iPhone, download the free trial version. I unlocked it straight away and created all the wrestlers of past and present, with their moves and their entrance music. You can speed up the gameplay also. Anyone who likes wrestling games need to try it as you will be shocked how good and fun it is.
Yeah I also read about the dev wanting too but unfortunately nothing else has been said? So I supported the petition for it, hopefully you are right and it’s coming!

@Shiryu have you ever played wrestling revolution 3D on iOS/Android? It’s made by a dev called mcdickie and it’s one of the best wrestling games made, has so much content and has the most satisfying gameplay. You can also make any wrestler and put in there exact music, you should check it out.

I’m going through a little I’m bored with ny switch phase at the moment, it’s not a negative it’s just I’ve played it sooooo much since March 3rd 2017 that I’m burnt out, I’ve played all the games so much, unfortunately none have the replay ability factor so soon.
So I’ve gone back to my 3ds, I’d love for xenoblade chronicles to come to switch, it be great! Currently playing Luigi mansion 2.

There’s a wrestler called Xavier woods from the new day who has a gaming channel with over 1 million subscribers called upupdowndown.
They all bought ojo projectors and apparently they are awesome, no ones switch got bricked lol I’d love one myself, so is there an official release date to the public? Or is April time just for the backers?

Honestly to me it feels like there is already student devs making games, not being horrible but there is some really buggy games that have bamboozled me, as in how on Earth did they get past the Nintendo screening process when the games are so bad and a far cry from the quality Nintendo is apparently known for?
Idk but it’s odd to me, some of the mobile games ported run worse on the switch! Not including ocean horn or implosion.
I’d rather there be way fewer games being released and more quality polished games being released.

It’s a good game with a lot of ambiance, I started a thread about it but not many were playing it at release, jdhk gave it a go and we all thought the same. There are some bugs but nothing game breaking, I’d recommend to everyone.

This is a good game tbf a lot of content, for real a mobile game I recommend. The devs who made it, the one guy was battling cancer through out making this and says this game saved him, a lot of love was put into this which is why this will do well on eshop. I still play this on my iPad from 2 years ago!

Frame rate is important so I hope it’s an even 30, I’d rather have that then visual upgrades for a game like this, but a portable that’s beetr then 360 version will do just fine.

Of course they would! Omg think about all the third party chargers you use for your devices, they always end up messing something up! Lol that’s always been my experience so I only purchase the companies product who made the device, it’s just safer in the long run.

The only type of ar I was impressed with was I think it was google maybe? And they did a demo of mine craft....it was frigging incredible! Full on iron man style tech, now that’s what will impress me, every thing else is just not polished enough to be a great experience.

To be honest I’m being very careful on impulse buys on the eshop, horror games tend to be some of the worst ports and the buggiest, if that’s a word?!
So will wait for reviews, several before I’d be day one purchasing again but I really hope it’s good!

In 2020, YES ABSOLUTELY!!! Till then, it’s not needed at all, well tbf it could go longer then that but personally I’d be happy to pay for another after 3 years if I were to get a good power up.

I don’t think they are saying these games cause ALL violence, this stems from school shootings where young people were the killers, these killers were found to have gamed a lot on some of the games you saw. There is truth on both sides of this argument, so why are people posting stupid apples and oranges comments like “were games to blame for the war” e.t.c As I said this come about because of what I mentioned not because Isis are killing people and not because there are civil wars all over the world, this is one tiny talk they had on trying to understand why these mass shootings and some mindless killings by the youths are happening more then ever. I always said it is not one medium to blame but a whole range of errors in society and culture that are being overlooked, it’s like at school they teach you maths, English and science e.t.c yet the most important tool for curing many of these ills, and giving people real power and understanding is NOT being taught, and that is emotional Intelligence. It’s scary that so many parents are not fit themselves for making kids understand their own and hence others emotions, this is the root of the problem and where they need to start, yet it seems that it almost purposely overlooked.

@faint I see what you are saying but regardless this is a console to a degree. To get the best experience out of the switch, docked is usually the way to go ( albeit some games tend to run better portable lol) I take it you just see it as a portable? I guess many will see it like this, but there are several announcements from Nintendo when it released saying this is a console first, regardless if that’s just a selling point, the dock does upgrade the gameplay where it is a home console. Playing an iPad on your tv or the 3ds example you gave doesn’t really upgrade the play in anyway does it? I wonder if more people class it as a portable then a console? Be interesting to see..more people probably see it as a portable though?

@Mr_Pepperami defo it has put me off the company massively. I will personally never purchase any of there stuff unless it was reviewed as perfect, they have lost a lot of goodwill with customers.
It’s almost like they don’t realise that this sort of thing ruins their reputation?!

This looks great but sadly one thing I have learnt so far this past year on the switch, is a lot of games that look this good and have a lot going on is probably going to not run great and be really buggy 😞 this was defo not switch gameplay in the video? Unless it is perfectly optimised for the switch graphic heavy games don’t run that great on the switch.

It boggles the mind how they could release it in this state! Surely it was played prior?! So that means someone there at some point said “look Just ship it out, who cares! We will promise patches and a fix and we won’t have to deliver as we will make our money back by cutting the price in half plus gamers are fickle they will soon forget”(insert evil laugh)
It’s so crazy to me that in the gaming world it’s acceptable to release an unfinished product! I would like to contact them but I already know it will fall on deaf ears.
