The only compromises I have seen is devs who have not done enough to make sure the games are fully compatible for the switch which can cause these so called compromises.

You might not think it but honestly the portability option on switch is a game changer for many games.
Some great games for me personally I’ve never played a Yoshi or Kirby game so looking forward to see what the fuss is about. Actually ive not played any Metroid game ever, nor hyrule warriors, so personally very excited for all these new games, well new to me. I hope we get a lot more ports as some of the best games around are from older systems. Really want some more horror game for switch as the few we have don’t scratch the itch apart from the res evil games. I wish I could peek at a secret list to see all games coming in 2018 lol I still believe it’s going to beat last year...fingers crossed.
I personally don’t know what to make of this game? For me I think I would have enjoyed it more in my teens before I’d played a lot of these type of games or watched much anime, as the story is very teenage based wrapped up in Fantasy tropes. The map can be so irritating by hiding questmarkers under other markers, the combat is not as engaging as other xenoblades, I’m 55 hours in and I don’t have any abilities where I can topple someone and the launch or break! It just seems like a hot mess. Apart from many cliches the quests are monotonous and the bugs and lag and slow fps are ruining my immersion.....but apart from all this I’m still playing in the hopes that something will change. Now I’m sure others are like how can you say this! But it’s just one opinion, the game is average so far, nothing great yet. Maybe it’s the overall lack of explanation of so many things, and other things being overly complicated , but I’m not enjoying it as much as many others seem to be unfortunately. I hope these changes make a difference?
I’d like to get stats like this on all titles and where they are placed, mainly want to know about skyrim and doom as I want to see big devs port more games so interested in those numbers in particular or where they are on a list?

This really is a feature they have done for young minds, and if I was a kid man I would have loved this! So it’s really just another mechanic added to the switch to make it even more family friendly. So FairPlay we’ll done Nintendo, so now that you got the kids out the way....can I have virtual console now please? And also res evil 7, gta 5 and some silent hill, also whilst your at it please port your full back catalogue of all previous Nintendo consoles, I would like all of this on a lolly pop stick please thank you.

Seriously if Nintendo bought the back catalogue of all their past consoles to the switch in a virtual console, that be the most epic thing that could happen to the switch. That’s the sad things about old games, eventually they are forgotten about because of new hardware. Just once I’d like a console that could play everything! And retained all games regardless! I really don’t mind anyone advocating home brew as few people have found some genuine reasons where it comes in handy. But, I’m no expert on this, but I think so many people don’t understand the potential effects hackers cause because of emulation.... Firstly android devs makes very little money compared to iOS because of jailbreaking. The PSP got affected as devs don’t want to support something where there hard work gets downloaded for free. Can you supporters of home brew not see this side of things? Is it because you feel it has more positives then negatives? As I don’t doubt it has some good aspects about it but if it affects the business, I think that’s where we should draw the line. Again many won’t take advantage but some still will.

Nah man Nintendo are going to release games on par with botw and odyssey as far as critical acclaim goes, I’m calling it lol I keep seeing people judging Nintendo on past experiences which is fair enough, but we’re dealing with a different Nintendo now. The Nintendo then would have NEVER Have dealt with mobile gaming, yet here we are...point is Nintendo have evolved the right way, and they are well aware that to keep this success going they are going to need games on the levels of botw and odyssey. It’s plain as day that this is a company who now know there direction, and they will do it the right way. On a side note I think it’s genius how they are slowly going to implement all the features we want bit by bit instead of in one go like virtual console and apps for example, sometimes dangling a carrot on a stick and then to be rewarded with a field of carrots is the nicest way to enjoy carrots...erm I forgot what I was going on about? Seriously if Nintendo bought the back catalogue of all their past consoles to the switch in a virtual console, that be the most epic thing that could happen to the switch.
That’s the sad things about old games, eventually they are forgotten about because of new hardware.
Just once I’d like a console that could play everything! And retained all games regardless! That’s the dream lol
Here’s hoping that Nintendo still give us even a fraction of some of these amazing games.

I really don’t mind anyone advocating home brew as few people have found some genuine reasons where it comes in handy.
But, I’m no expert on this, but I think so many people don’t understand the potential effects hackers cause because of emulation....
Firstly android devs makes very little money compared to iOS because of jailbreaking.
The PSP got affected as devs don’t want to support something where there hard work gets downloaded for free.
Can you supporters of home brew not see this side of things? Is it because you feel it has more positives then negatives?
As I don’t doubt it has some good aspects about it but if it affects the business, I think that’s where we should draw the line.
Again many won’t take advantage but some still will.

Man I hate these pirates lol leave the switch alone, play on your mobiles or pcs if you want emulators, it’s not like there is a shortage of options!
If in some way you think you are doing a greater good as you think Nintendo will then have to legitimately add what you are shovelling you should think of all the Nintendo homes that will be built because of the switch bricks you create!
P.s idk why I’m typing this like I’m speaking to the hackers themselves...it just came out that way 😑

I once had a horror thread of games I wanted to discuss and he come on their just to start raving about demons, blood, gore and entrails lol
We can all accept there are extremely sensitive men like him but he will never accept those games.

Nah man Nintendo are going to release games on par with botw and odyssey as far as critical acclaim goes, I’m calling it lol
I keep seeing people judging Nintendo on past experiences which is fair enough, but we’re dealing with a different Nintendo now.
The Nintendo then would have NEVER Have dealt with mobile gaming, yet here we are...point is Nintendo have evolved the right way, and they are well aware that to keep this success going they are going to need games on the levels of botw and odyssey.
It’s plain as day that this is a company who now know there direction, and they will do it the right way. On a side note I think it’s genius how they are slowly going to implement all the features we want bit by bit instead of in one go like virtual console and apps for example, sometimes dangling a carrot on a stick and then to be rewarded with a field of carrots is the nicest way to enjoy carrots...erm I forgot what I was going on about? Oh yeah..potatoes.
