@Anti-Matter your either a very rare person with a very pure heart and strong beliefs or you have a weird disposition that I just can’t even begin to understand.
Some games do have shades of grey they are not just good or evil. You post stuff like this so much but you never give any reasoning or logic behind it, you should know you can’t teach love without the hate. You can learn and grow from many experiences including bad.

I’m in the uk and read some reviews on astral chain, especially one from the newspaper the Independent, and they really crapped all over astral chain!? They said it becomes very repetitive and boring? Personally going to wait before I buy just because I want to clear my backlog.

Calm down! If anything the title at most could be seen as something said in “awe” or “shock”, but it’s nowhere near “negative” lol
The only people that would confuse that title are those that are getting offended because of them pointing out the lack of power on the switch, so you could say your reaction is negative?
Personally think it’s bang on, there are games on switch that you would think wouldn’t run but somehow they have pulled it off!

Amazon uk have it down for a December 25th release

Keep EA away from the switch, we have learnt our lessons well, I personally don’t support them at all as they are complete trash with their half assed products. Personally not bothered if they closed down, I wouldn’t miss them or their games.

So I think it’s safe to say it’s a success!
I’m looking forward to see how much more it’s going to sell as there are things not even implemented yet that can make it’s sell like hot cakes...the upcoming games like shin megami, Witcher 3, Metroid 4, breath of the wild 2 etc and also more games to online library, like 64, GameCube, wii, 3ds being added, and other apps and internet.
The switch is capable of a lot, I personally think they have found a system that is only going to evolve for many years to come.

Can you take advantage of having a European account and getting discounts? I know it’s a pain but that may be worth a try if you see a game you like considerably down in price?

In uk I seem to come across them regularly, but I always check my watchlist every time I boot up my switch in case something is discounted.
Here I was thinking that America get better sales and more often?!

@zool it’s about immersion, doing other things like noted in the review can drag you deeper into a game.
Your “Its not real life” statement shows you maybe don’t understand that side of a game where people want a more immersive experience as what you are saying of just give me a basic storyline has been done hundreds of times!
Some games just move on, and by the reviews it seems like it’s not filler, but actually brings mechanics that effect the tide of battle.
I’ve never played any fe myself and I’m on the fence about this but I applaud games that move away from and try different things from the last few games in the series

3 of my switches have had issues, 3! Seven of my mates 6 have had issues, the one is ok but he has had it a month so far, so you need to stop making these false narratives that this is blown out of proportion your highness.

I was hoping it would have a Dante’s inferno style creepiness like that stage where your in the circle of hell for adultery and you have to fight that gross demon women who has babies crawling out her nipples lol I’m not surprised that it got a crap review.

Since the release of the switch in March 2017, I have bought 3 Nintendo Switch`s
All have had drift issues
The one I bought last had drift issues as soon as I unpackaged it!
I’m surprised 25% said they have no issues! My luck must be awful as all 3 of the switches purchased had Joy-Cons drifting

@Sawdy I bought one brand new and it happened on that straight away, but dust can do that.
I think there is more to it though with this, as my last 3 switches have all had the Joy-Cons drift.

I’m filling this form in, I think probably every switch has had this issue as I have bought 3, and my friends all experience the same thing. The latest one was brand new and started to drift when I move forward, and my other 2 also did the same with movement control. Also the left shoulder button does not register all the time when pressing it. I also know it’s pointless buying Joy-Cons as all the switch models have this issue ( well all mine have and 6 of my mates who own a switch)
Has anyone owned a switch for more then 3 months with no problems at all with their Joy-Cons??!
If so they are very lucky! Nintendo should be ashamed having such a widespread issue with their newest systems as they always used to pride themselves on the quality of their products.

@dux oh man that sucks I feel for you, I know that feeling where it seems everyone is being supported more. I always felt that way with so many games that would only get released in Japan.

Personally going to wait for reviews from people who have played it all, nothing worse then a crazy long RPG which gets boring half way through. Xb 2 did it great, it got better and bigger the further you got so if it’s on that level I will definitely get this.

I gotta say this as I said Nintendo would have to be so stupid to release a mini, why?
1 why release a smaller version of something already mobile?
2 £70 more and you can get the docked version and detachable joy cons, which is nearly the price of games anyway!
3 it’s not even built for the Labo they introduced
4 it takes away from the whole point of it being a “switch”
It’s like saying buy half of what it’s supposed to be just because it’s a little bit cheaper, which I feel takes away from the impact of the switch in the first place!
Yes I know 3ds is not a thing anymore so they think it’s going to cover that market share but the way they have gone about it and my points above, it feels so underwhelming and just ...crap!
The screen is only 5.5 inches too! I honestly thought Nintendo wouldn’t be so stupid to cheapen their product, but I was wrong.
We talked about it at work and no one wanted one! Most already have a switch, so maybe it’s aimed at kids getting one for Xmas as Nintendo know the money is in the software anyway. But yeah I just think it’s an unnecessary product, they should have stuck with the whole switch gimmick and if anything released a pro.

Fair play, I’m surprised it has so many subscribers considering the content. If it had GameCube or wii games that would make it’s a permanent subscription. I hope it’s gets to the point where the whole back catalogue pre switch is on it! Lol ....yeah I know that’s never going to be a thing

When I say ideal, I mean if someone gave me a choice if I wanted my kid to grow up gay or straight, raise a family where the child has a mother and father ....you bet I’m going to say straight.
But if my child did turn out like that I’d still love them, but would I want them to go through such emotional turmoil warring with their own very being? No...I’d want emotional stability for them.
So yes ideal to me is a man and woman, and some guy who likes Nintendo games is not going to change my mind on a gaming forum.
Again I haven’t seen anyone say anything hateful, but I have seen a lot of you trying to force your own views because YOU have decided that their post does not reflect your world view.

I have the new oculus quest and over the PS4 vr it’s worlds apart to me. No cables either, it’s the full experience and a high quality one too. Honestly after playing that I personally believe it could be the future, as everyone who have experienced the quest have been blown away. Resolution is good on the quest but has room for improvement. The Labo for me is not a great alternative for vr, it’s very minimalistic so I do agree Nintendo have fell behind...but then again going by Labo they have a different idea on vr to the likes of oculus, ps or hive etc

All this talk of dating games being popular makes me think I should dip my toes ...
Now if anyone has any recommendations on hot anime looking girls who easily invite people over for “coffee” hook me up lol

The reason so much crazy stuff happens because people do feel the way they portray online, that’s a glimpse into ones train of thought. Of course reading into the context of ones post can be a whole different thing. Just because that’s “grim” to you doesn’t make it wrong or negative. I see for what it is, and you see it your way too, neither are wrong so let’s leave it at that and not go tit for tat on this
