They just have gone the route of making it a pc tower, probably to reflect the high end gaming it will be capable of. Some people are being dramatic about the size, it seems a bit smaller then a typical pc tower unit.
@ThanosReXXX your example is comparing apples to oranges, getting an apology for a wrong item from the distributor is a given, but this is not something that’s happened because of the distributor in this case Amazon ( or affiliates with amazon) has messed up,
This is happening because it’s purposely being done so in that regards I’m saying you will have a snowballs chance in hell of them finding the perpetrator and them issuing an apology to you, which is why you would end up wasting time and energy on something that will end in your standard refund or generic email. If it was your example then the old let me speak to a manager, or I will be taking this to the complaints regulation or social media would work but when you have buttheads doing this within the organisations, the only thing that will stop it is if they get caught, terminated, or leave the job.
You wouldn’t believe how much of this goes on without the companies knowing it’s going on, just for a generic customer service operator to get it in the ear instead.
@ThanosReXXX yeah you obviously have not had anything like this happen to you because I guarantee you they won’t able to pinpoint why this happened nor would you get a personal apology. At best you would have wasted hours of your own time trying to “expose” them and wasting emotional energy on something that won’t have any type of outcome other then a refund and a generic apology from amazon via email. When things like this happen it’s people in the warehouses or possible drivers who know what some of these packages are and do this for kicks and free merchandise, i and many others have experienced this and nothing ever gets solved.
@KitsuneNight lmao erm you do realise compared to all other consoles today it is underpowered?! I only game on the switch yet even I’m not ignorant to that.
I usually hate auto runners but I bought it on my iPad and it’s a actually a great game, it’s funny I forget in playing an auto run when I play this game, but the reviews are legit this is a great game. Only thing seems a little steep on the price?
@panthro wow you are one emotional drama queen I take it your single? Clean your room or brush your teeth, it might make you feel less emotional and not act like a slimy character spewing conspiracies.
I personally don’t get buying anything over 200gb it’s not like you can play everything at the same time anyway and I currently have 20 games downloaded on a 128gb card! When I want room I just quick archive the software and make room for what I feel like playing. I couldn’t justify spending nearly the same amount on a card that costs the same as a switch lite.
@Kaizoku same! I can’t see any sale either? I’m hoping it will pop up later today but normally with past sales they have been there from midnight onwards?
Personally never played a Pokemon game myself, but I was shocked when I went online and 32 friends were online at the same time playing pokemon! I’ve never seen so many online at one time on the switch!
I was so disappointed when I played this game, little did I realise the scary hype was mainly populated by pre pubescent kids with their first taste of horror. The 25yr old me was not impressed.
@Slits no I’m 35 we don’t have the millennial entitlement that you have. I played sports, not crying over street fighter not being in my Xmas stocking. Now go white knight for some other random boy on YouTube
Ugh his disgusting wet face crying how fortnite is the most important thing in his life? What a sad little rat, tells me all I need to know, is probably the type who treats his family like crap and ignores them just to play crappy fortnite?! Only wish I could be there when life really creeps up on you and nails it into your 2 bit brain what is important.
I have this on a-please arcade and it’s a great game for what it is, it’s addictive, and the mechanics are difficult to master. Music is great too and so is the art. I’d definitely recommend myself if your looking for a fun game to play but it depends on the price? I’m not sure what they are charging for this?
I played this game in beta whilst on iOS before it officially released. It’s is a big disappointment especially on touchscreen as the controls were terrible, to strike you hold your finger on the screen and release at a sweet spot to strike, it felt unnatural to play that way and even when I got used to it, it sapped any resemblance of fun from the game. So on the switch, even with controls I can tell you this is a very bland, repetitive experience that doesn’t feel like Skyrim in any way apart from the items and weapons having names you recognise from Skyrim. You slowly collect gems and scrolls which are needed to build the town and upgrade the shops, so of course being free to play you hit a point where it’s such a grind that you have to spend more money then the price of actually buying the actual elder scrolls Skyrim the game! So unless you don’t have any money to buy a game at the moment, or your a kid with a switch, it’s ok for free but if you have played Skyrim, then I would say stay away from this as even for free you will not enjoy it.
@HappyMaskedGuy haha the more your getting owned in the comments section the more your slowly revealing your slimy character. I bet there’s a thick vein bulging on your head when you are posting 😂
@Kal_el_0724 you are so unbelievably wrong, this sort of gaming addiction has been prevalent for years. I’ve seen it first hand several times and have hear from friends and experienced with a family member how games can make some people shut ins, where work and even taking care of themselves is secondary to gaming if at all! Many of you may be fine but it’s been bad for a long time.
Completed both 3x on my iPad so would personally not double dip unless they are on sale. But anyone who likes meaty rpgs with a deep lore and countless strategies, then this is one of the best rpgs out there to give you a great experience. Once you catch the flavour of the game you will love it.
Yes! That’s what I wanted to hear! Of course anyone who knows about this game should expect some frame rate issues but if it’s not game breaking then this is amazing!
Witcher 3 for me and that’s it, I already own Baldur’s gate 1 and 2 and Icewind Dale which im playing at the moment and also own torment escape on iOS and playing these type of games on a 12.9 inch touch screen is personally my favourite way of playing as its so much faster then using a controller
Happy birthday Nintendo! Sometimes people don’t take a step back and look at Nintendo for what it is..it’s a dream machine! An experience, a piece of undiluted happiness that has the capability of immersing anyone into its many games. Life can be hard, and totally suck, but having something this cool in our lifetime is pretty awesome in my book. All the effort they have put in over the years just creating magic for fans and kids is amazing so when I look at it in this way suddenly things I moan about with them don’t seem so bad. The crazy thing is they can actually get so much more popular, I’d like to think the switch is going to be around for a very long time.
@CodyMKW no way I never knew, hope they implement something in the future even something similar to the App Store etc Unlike some basement dwellers on here who live in mommy’s basement and yell when they want their microwave dinners lol us working class don’t always get time to go reading every review site to find out if a game is worth it.
@andjahiam are you always an emotional drama queen to people who write posts about what they would like to see? Maybe you should stick to painting those long sharp fingernails so stick to talking crap to your loved ones instead of people you don’t know you bitter little boy.
I would personally love to see a ratings feature on games or just a score when searching in the store as there are so many games now, as it’s a bit of a chore sifting through finding a game then looking up reviews or scores.
P.s there was a game similar to this style on iOS mobile and it’s killing me that I don’t know the name of it!! It had an odd style, awesome music where it was a runner but you had these huge swords, I feel like blasphemous almost saw that and thought they could do one better. Just wish I knew the name grrr!
Man I’ve been waiting for this when I first saw it soon after the switch was released! I love games with this sort of imagery done well, especially when they can evoke a eerie an creepy atmosphere where you know your in for a sick ride.
I remember having this on release day I was blown away! The games I loved most was shadowman, powerstone, soul caliber, killer instinct, skies of Arcadia and sonic but there were so many. Man I’d be happy to get the back catalogue or even if they wanted a subscription to play all their games, I would!
This game has been released a while ago as on iOS as many devs bringing their iOS games to switch, so going by App Store reviews I’m surprised about the low rating as it’s well received there. But this is a mobile game and I personally think it’s one of the many mobile titles that don’t need to be on switch
I have finished both games twice, and there is a lot of content! But trust me, the UI is going to be small in handheld unless they find some way round the layout of all the icons, tv no problem. I played both on my iPad Pro 12 inch and have played on a iPhone 6 before but it was a struggle. Personally won’t be double dipping as I have both on a 12.9 iPad Pro which I think is the best way to pay this game for me personally ( as in touch screen play )
Can someone clarify is this actually a good game? I checked metacritic and other reviews for the time and they were not good at all?! Is this just fans wanting the nostalgia or is it a good doom game?
Personally think that kids have so much information these days which has actually made them more ignorant to things! Pre 80s to the 90s and 2000 most kids were clued up on everything going in some shape or form, so I think it’s a case of so much content, maybe too much?
So happy with this news, I played it on the 3ds so for me it’s going to be a huge difference! Lol So looking forward to it, just a shame it’s 2020, I hope it’s at least the start of the year?
Since launch I bought a Nintendo Switch then sold in 6 months as I got bored with not many games I wanted, then I purchased again 10 months in and sold again as the games variety for me was underwhelming. Now..... I purchased a switch again 3 months ago and I can say i will never be selling it again, I can’t believe how good the games library is now! I’m playing every day even a little without fail
Wow that direct was awesome for me personally and now this! God I love my switch now, and knowing they are finally bringing SNES games to online! Well I’m finally getting a subscription as it will only get better. Bravo Nintendo
@Anti-Matter see now that puts it in perspective. If it does effect you that much then I guess I understand, some people do get more traumatised then others.
