Re: People Order Switch Consoles From Amazon, Get Hilariously Random Items Instead

Deathwalka

@ThanosReXXX your example is comparing apples to oranges, getting an apology for a wrong item from the distributor is a given, but this is not something that’s happened because of the distributor in this case Amazon ( or affiliates with amazon) has messed up,
This is happening because it’s purposely being done so in that regards I’m saying you will have a snowballs chance in hell of them finding the perpetrator and them issuing an apology to you, which is why you would end up wasting time and energy on something that will end in your standard refund or generic email. If it was your example then the old let me speak to a manager, or I will be taking this to the complaints regulation or social media would work but when you have buttheads doing this within the organisations, the only thing that will stop it is if they get caught, terminated, or leave the job.
You wouldn’t believe how much of this goes on without the companies knowing it’s going on, just for a generic customer service operator to get it in the ear instead.

@ThanosReXXX yeah you obviously have not had anything like this happen to you because I guarantee you they won’t able to pinpoint why this happened nor would you get a personal apology.
At best you would have wasted hours of your own time trying to “expose” them and wasting emotional energy on something that won’t have any type of outcome other then a refund and a generic apology from amazon via email.
When things like this happen it’s people in the warehouses or possible drivers who know what some of these packages are and do this for kicks and free merchandise, i and many others have experienced this and nothing ever gets solved.

Re: Deals: Massively Expand Your Switch Storage With Huge Black Friday Discounts On 1TB SanDisk Micro SD Cards

I personally don’t get buying anything over 200gb it’s not like you can play everything at the same time anyway and I currently have 20 games downloaded on a 128gb card! When I want room I just quick archive the software and make room for what I feel like playing. I couldn’t justify spending nearly the same amount on a card that costs the same as a switch lite.

Re: The Elder Scrolls: Blades For Switch Requires An Online Connection

Deathwalka

I played this game in beta whilst on iOS before it officially released. It’s is a big disappointment especially on touchscreen as the controls were terrible, to strike you hold your finger on the screen and release at a sweet spot to strike, it felt unnatural to play that way and even when I got used to it, it sapped any resemblance of fun from the game. So on the switch, even with controls I can tell you this is a very bland, repetitive experience that doesn’t feel like Skyrim in any way apart from the items and weapons having names you recognise from Skyrim. You slowly collect gems and scrolls which are needed to build the town and upgrade the shops, so of course being free to play you hit a point where it’s such a grind that you have to spend more money then the price of actually buying the actual elder scrolls Skyrim the game! So unless you don’t have any money to buy a game at the moment, or your a kid with a switch, it’s ok for free but if you have played Skyrim, then I would say stay away from this as even for free you will not enjoy it.

@Kal_el_0724 you are so unbelievably wrong, this sort of gaming addiction has been prevalent for years. I’ve seen it first hand several times and have hear from friends and experienced with a family member how games can make some people shut ins, where work and even taking care of themselves is secondary to gaming if at all! Many of you may be fine but it’s been bad for a long time.

Witcher 3 for me and that’s it, I already own Baldur’s gate 1 and 2 and Icewind Dale which im playing at the moment and also own torment escape on iOS and playing these type of games on a 12.9 inch touch screen is personally my favourite way of playing as its so much faster then using a controller

Happy birthday Nintendo!
Sometimes people don’t take a step back and look at Nintendo for what it is..it’s a dream machine! An experience, a piece of undiluted happiness that has the capability of immersing anyone into its many games.
Life can be hard, and totally suck, but having something this cool in our lifetime is pretty awesome in my book. All the effort they have put in over the years just creating magic for fans and kids is amazing so when I look at it in this way suddenly things I moan about with them don’t seem so bad. The crazy thing is they can actually get so much more popular, I’d like to think the switch is going to be around for a very long time.

@CodyMKW no way I never knew, hope they implement something in the future even something similar to the App Store etc
Unlike some basement dwellers on here who live in mommy’s basement and yell when they want their microwave dinners lol us working class don’t always get time to go reading every review site to find out if a game is worth it.

@andjahiam are you always an emotional drama queen to people who write posts about what they would like to see? Maybe you should stick to painting those long sharp fingernails so stick to talking crap to your loved ones instead of people you don’t know you bitter little boy.

Re: Feature: 20 Dreamcast Games We'd Love To See On Nintendo Switch

Deathwalka

I remember having this on release day I was blown away! The games I loved most was shadowman, powerstone, soul caliber, killer instinct, skies of Arcadia and sonic but there were so many. Man I’d be happy to get the back catalogue or even if they wanted a subscription to play all their games, I would!

Re: Review: Legend Of The Skyfish - A Poor-Man's Zelda

Deathwalka

This game has been released a while ago as on iOS as many devs bringing their iOS games to switch, so going by App Store reviews I’m surprised about the low rating as it’s well received there. But this is a mobile game and I personally think it’s one of the many mobile titles that don’t need to be on switch

Re: Feature: Beamdog On Bringing Baldur's Gate And Classic D&D RPGs To Switch

I have finished both games twice, and there is a lot of content! But trust me, the UI is going to be small in handheld unless they find some way round the layout of all the icons, tv no problem.
I played both on my iPad Pro 12 inch and have played on a iPhone 6 before but it was a struggle. Personally won’t be double dipping as I have both on a 12.9 iPad Pro which I think is the best way to pay this game for me personally ( as in touch screen play )

Since launch I bought a Nintendo Switch then sold in 6 months as I got bored with not many games I wanted, then I purchased again 10 months in and sold again as the games variety for me was underwhelming.
Now..... I purchased a switch again 3 months ago and I can say i will never be selling it again, I can’t believe how good the games library is now! I’m playing every day even a little without fail
