You know this is not a difficult task for Nintendo, they all took place on older consoles and could easily be bought to the switch which I feel will happen to most of their past franchise games as they are not technically difficult to remaster with a bit more polish, as just having them in the library would be a hugely profitable for Nintendo. Personally think it’s a case of when not if.
@Magician it really is just that, I was one of the few who got to play before release and it was absolute trash. It’s a typical mobile game with infinity blade fighting mechanics, were it not for the Skyrim terminology you wouldn’t really recognise it as a elder scrolls game. Maybe the fighting mechanics will improve with a controller as the touchscreen version is the worst fighting mechanic I’ve ever played. You basically hold down on the screen and then lift your finger to strike, feels so unnatural and after a couple of hours you are bored with it.
@Zach777 hmm maybe you should play it on your mobile before you get uppity about someone’s opinion As Nintendo life will be giving this no more then a 6 if it’s lucky.
It makes my soul ache knowing their is still treatment going on like this in 2020, how humans can treat other humans in this way just boggles my mind. No wonder war just breeds war, the minds damaged will only go onto create the next hate regime and so on, where the fk is this going to end?
@Crockin their is nothing remotely gay in this, but if you see that good for you. But I saw no typical gay behaviour, you know....over dramatic acting, constantly saying sexual puns, because the whole gay community is a sex thing first. I personally saw none of that so curious to what you saw? Probably the girls looking at their friends missing them so they play on the switch to connect translated to in your gutter mind that they wanted to have sex?
@Euden if you want it for free, I can tell you a shady trick that works 100% lol Order off amazon, pay for it, once it’s delivered tell amazon you never got it. They automatically will refund you no questions asked but this will only work once or twice. Or you can go to a game store where they sell used games and purchase it cheap like that. Two options for you there!
@Anti-Matter you have a very perverted mind considering you say this on so many of your posts. Aren’t you supposed to be a teacher? Have some restraint, don’t be such a slimy character on so many posts.
This is a little off topic but I got to say I opened the Witcher 3 yesterday as only just got round to playing, and im so disappointed. I have not played it before and I’m not a console gamer but this game has took such a huge hit graphically that if I had known I would not have bought it. Pretty much game breaking, constant pops and slow downs, I’d much rather they waited for a switch pro, or something that could handle it better. I mentioned this because if we are going to get these next gen games then I personally don’t want them coming in this state. I can’t play handheld anymore because the drift on my switch is so excessive and in docked it looks dark and seems to run worse.
So do you think they are going to use an identical map to what we have now?? I guess they would but we would then know exactly where to go for many things and I can’t see it being as exciting? So many questions about Botw 2 and I cannot wait!. I hope they add more things in this time like proper fishing, and being able to actually sit down or lie down. Just little things like that as they already got so much right, but I just can’t imagine how they are going to tackle the second without it being the same thing s as the first??
Cloud gaming will be the future when the future has 5g in every town, because I don’t see anyone having a great experience with what we have today in so many areas.
I knew they wouldn’t, but I don’t blame them. I don’t think it’s time yet, 2021-22 will be the time as the games yet to be released on switch are going to be huge.
I really hope Botw 2 trumps the first by a country mile but that is asking for so much lol I can’t see how they are going to make it be even as good as the first, but it’s Nintendo so I won’t count them out
Yeah switch won’t have to do anything 2020 to compete with the hardware, they got too many good games coming yet. Once you see a lot of new next gen only games that are wanted then Nintendo will ramp it up, as I honestly believe they do believe that they have their own niche in the market. It’s already been said that most who own a switch own a second console anyway so it’s something that you can own besides a ps5 and Xbox sapphire
Great read, I also felt this was the game I was always waiting for. The polish and the nuances of this game are just unlike any other game I’ve played and definitely my fav game of all time. Incidentally I too also live res evil 4 and have completed it several times lol I honestly cannot understand anyone who does not like this game, to me it’s a game that really opens your imagination. I’m looking forward to BOTW 2 but I’m very doubtful they will able to create something as exciting or even more exciting then the first BOTW Then again I would not put it past Nintendo
@Iacobus I agree, I’m fine with other games mimicking the aesthetics of a game like BOTW as it’s been done for years where certain games create a style that is liked by other devs, but no way could they have got the mechanics and seamless gameplay and subtle nuances the BOTW created. That game is an absolute masterpiece in my opinion.
@cool_boy_mew is that how much they aged them by? That actually is hilarious! But I say that because 18 is the legal age here for most things but I guess many countries have even lower then that or older.
Oooo this thread is great lol here with my corn of pop reading through, the part I don’t understand is have they changed the story a bit to the original or is it that you can’t play as a tween in a bikini? If the latter, then it’s even more hilarious that some of these single basement gamers are so angry! Incoming minus likes in 3 2 1
Honestly BotW really is the game i was waiting for all my gaming life I think, even now after hundreds of hours I get shocked at just how much effort was put into this that it’s as close to perfect as any game out there. Playing so much makes me want so many other features but hopefully BotW 2 will do that. I’m so excited to see how the second one will compare and how they could top BotW? To see it’s effect with things like this to self made maps etc goes to show just what an amazing experience BotW has been for people.
My personal game of the decade is hands down breath of the wild, an absolute masterpiece that for me nuke the other Zelda games out the water. Even after 3 years I am still taken back with the game nuances, the love in this game is something I have personally not seen. My 4th playthrough and I’m just as much engrossed in its beauty and immersive gameplay then I was on my first.
@YANDMAN actually the switch was released March 2017 so it’s not even 3 years old yet! Everyone said the same thing with this switch version but it did more then fine. I do agree on that there next iteration needs to be a good deal stronger, but no matter what happens it won’t be having the next gen games because this time, the consoles are way ahead even if switch goes to the newer chip to the one it has, it won’t be handling any of the next gen games either way. Certain games are ported amazingly but you are right in that they do need to give their next switch a good boost, but I doubt it will be anything meaningful enough to enjoy multi platform games from the newer consoles. Of course some games maybe exceptions but the next gen consoles are for 4K and 120 FPS gaming with minimum effort, personally I can’t see the next switch version beating PS4 or Xbox one standard let alone a pro?
@YANDMAN I wouldn’t say that, they could do it next year after the hype of this years consoles. If anything they could have the most successful year yet with possible upcoming games?
I liked dq11 but did anyone else feel it burnt itself out with how long it went on for? Also the dialogue it gives with options is silly in that it has no consequences in saying yes or no lol Hope combat has more variety as 50 hours in and your doing the same move patterns so would love to personally see a change in dq12?
It’s funny at the start of the year there was concern this would be a weak year, but I actually think it’s been the best year for switch for overall growth in the games library. It’s has massively increased with so many good games that it’s impossible to play everything unless you don’t work or go to school/college etc So I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings, I personally want to see more revision to apps like us getting Netflix or Crunchyroll and some back catalogue from the 3ds and the wii, but something tells me that may not be happening in the next year. Other then that just please give news on smt5 already!
@PBandSmelly you are very lucky, I have had problems on all switches I purchased ( I sold them a couple of times and then bought new one when the games library got really big ) The switch I currently have which was bought brand new 6 months ago has constant issues with drifting, to the point I now don’t play with them at all and instead bought a £15 controller which is amazing to play with in comparison to my joy cons. So trust me when I say you are a very lucky guy to not experience any drift. Fancy swapping joycons? Lol
I’ve recently finished dq11 and I was left a little disappointed? Did anyone else just feel like it dragged on forever? It was so long that it took some oomph ( pardon the pun ) away from the overall story. Even when it ends the extra content does not feel like a suitable ending and just drags on for evermore! When it was good it was great, there was a lot I loved but some stuff was just not needed. It’s got so much content but because of how it’s dragged out for over a 100 hours it didn’t have the same impact as say xenoblade 2, so sadly I can’t ever see myself playing through that again. Also I hate that dragon quest games still give you options in dialogue that have not impact or different outcome! Lol I needed to get that off my chest as I’ve not heard anyone mention this which I find surprising that I must be the only one?!
@Matthew010 firstly that guys comment was just silly, but It’s hilarious that your the only one triggered! You just wrote you saw all these angry posts?? Where? All I saw was smart rebuttles, and even then none of their tones were angry. So as a moderator you shouldn’t be so emotional and let people say what they like, if he was using bad language or was offensive I understand but your making yourself look silly over someone who doesn’t “like your Nintendo games” and that’s coming from a Nintendo fan.
