Re: Review: Bayonetta 2 (Wii U)

@c1pher_c0mplet Yeah, because even if they had enough money immediately to produce another game, violating a contract would be a great business practice for Platinum. lol

Re: Super Smash Bros. Takes the Lead in Japan Once Again, 3DS Sales Dip Further

DaemonSword

@MoonKnight7 There are movies released every weekend with higher budgets and A-list stars with lower numbers. Yes, the sales aren't good, but they're not bad either, considering it's competing against Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors, Kingdom Hearts, Destiny. The timing couldn't have come at a worse time to release, so again yeah, those numbers aren't dud numbers at all.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Takes the Lead in Japan Once Again, 3DS Sales Dip Further

Bayonetta 2 is still in the Top 20 again, despite stiff competition in Smash Bros, Kingdom Hearts, etc. I'm sure plenty of other of games would be jealous to get a fraction of that, despite it being such a controversial game. Why does everyone claim its a dud? The Japanese economy is more of a dud, surprised games are selling what they are there right now.

Re: We'd Be Cheating Fans By Bringing Assassin's Creed Unity To Wii U, Says Ubisoft

DaemonSword

The only good things I will say about Ubi is how good Rayman was, and how good ZombiU was, full of flaws, but better energized survival horror than how the lazy slob Resident Evil/CrapCom has become. With that, the company I used to love is now gone, and is responsible for it's own 3rd party hatred, for choosing to port games to the Wii U 2-3 years later for full price and no dlc.

Re: Super Smash Bros. Slams the Competition Yet Again, 3DS Sales Drop

DaemonSword

Despite so much competition, and in it's 2nd week still in the top 20, I think Bayonetta 2 is doing fine. For a niche type game with a lot of adult themes that only sold a little over 2 million copies across 2 consoles the first time around, Platinum should be proud. Japan's current gaming trends are just wacky right now, it'll be huge everywhere else.

Re: Wii U Version of Watch Dogs to Miss Out on DLC

DaemonSword

@Smug43 The third parties decide to release games on other consoles first, than wonder why their games aren't selling on Wii U 6 months to 2 years later, with no upgrades, no dlc. In the beginning, yes, Nintendo was responsible, but 2 years later, the blame is mostly on the third parties now. I'm tired of Nintendo getting blamed for something that isn't entirely their fault. If third parties wanted their games to sell on the Wii U, than 1)they would release their games at the same time, and 2)they would try to match Nintendo's work ethic. The reason Nintendo's IP sells so well is because they put quality first, fun 2nd, and everything else 3rd. Being a fanboy or fangirl is just a bonus. Third parties, put up or shut up, don't get mad at Nintendo's work ethic to deliver 5 Star games, and then blame it on fanboys/fangirls not wanting to buy half-assed quality games.

Re: Wii U Version of Watch Dogs to Miss Out on DLC

Ubisoft, just don't release it anymore. Stop burning your money and time on something you already predict doom and gloom on. I wanted to support this game, despite the bad reviews, but your company doesn't want the support. It's bad enough that the other versions have barrels of bugs and frame rate issues, but if making a game set up to fail (unnecessary delays, phoned-in code translation from the source code, no dlc, then expecting fans to pay full price) is their plan to use a tax write off, they really should just get out of the video game business entirely.

Re: Watch Dogs Wii U Release Dates Confirmed

DaemonSword

Despite the mixed reviews, I'll still get it, I want Ubi back on the Wii U full steam. Haven't played any other versions, and I'm sure the Wii U version will be the best, since they've had time to iron out the bugs from the other versions, plus the gamepad will make it the best as well. Given the number of new owners that have increased so much due to MK8, I hope it sells well enough to put faith back into Ubi, and hopefully ZombiU 2.

Re: Rock Zombie Is Bringing Hard Rock And Side-Scrolling Combat Action To The Wii U

DaemonSword

Willing to let them finish the game, but from the get go, there is ZERO difference on the 3D builds of the women (other than hair color, outfit, etc). There is also zero difference on the attacks. Sidescroller fight game 101: Strength person, Speed person, Magic person. This games seems to have the characters as all the same, with slight 'Mario Kart' differences, not true differences in character.

Re: Talking Point: The Wii U May be Best as One of Two Consoles, Just Like Wii

DaemonSword

Just the Wii U + 3DS for me, it provides what I need at this stage of my life. I have to be careful on how I spend my money, time and energy. Owning every system is unrealistic and absurd, dividing my time between my current job, while still pursuing my dream job, paying rent, paying for gas/auto related things, paying for food, spending time with family and friends, dating and the expenses that come with that, etc. Nintendo's offerings are just the right balance now, MicroSony caters too much to the dudebro/bromance crowd. No thanks.

Re: Wii U Sales Continue to Rise with the Release of Hyrule Warriors – 3DS Sales Also Strong

DaemonSword

It's sad how Activision and Ubi are giving up on WiiU based on 2012-2013 sales. Everyone, keep buying the system and the games, esp Bayonetta 2 and Devil's Third!! Let's make them regret overreacting too quickly, that mature games can and will sell great on this system in 2014 and beyond. And again, BUY DEVIL'S THIRD (and WatchDogs too), it will be the only version of a COD type game we will ever have for a while!!!
