@moomoo Colin did say the 3DS would lose, and the Vita would take over, so yes, he is a Sony fanboy. That aside, his longing for the old, cheesy, japanime style of Castlevania, suggests he probably wishes that Joel Schumacher was still directing the Batman films, and not Christopher Nolan.
F this guy and his FAIL, insecure male games. No one will ever be able to touch NiN in the handheld department, to which dumbphones will never be replicate the experience. Besides, who would Sony copy if Nintendo wasn't around? lol
Good interview...until she started talking about how she plays other systems more. Boo!! I thought this was NINTENDOLife. lol. I may not own every single game and know every bit of game trivia, but I never sold out to the other 2 consoles.
It was inevitable. I liked the old formula, but they seemed to be running out of ideas before LoS (Portrait Of Ruin was the last one that I liked, Order Of Ecclesia had some good things, but was a clusterF overall, and it didn't recover after that). I welcome the change and the update to more mature themes, which, unless the game was going to hire the late Leslie Nielsen to be Dracula, the camp was getting worse that what Joel Schumacher was doing with the Batman film franchise.
Here's a thought Square: stop making games that go all over the place with no continuity, or games that this guy can tear apart unmercifully: http://spoonyexperiment.com/
I'll never sell my soul to XBox or Sony (not that I've never played their systems, they just don't need or deserve my money. While the other 2 sell pc's, microwaves, cameras, ovens, mp3 players, etc, Nintendo makes it's business off games). The other 2's consoles will def be over 600 bucks at start, and their games probably will be 80. Big N til the end.
Thank goodness they didn't go with that silly idea. That would've as bad as Highlander 2, breaking so many rules of the first film, with the immortals coming from planet Zeist. Ugh!
60 bucks for a Wii U game is pretty steep, and only the best games will be bought. If I get a Wii U now, until the economy really turns around, most of the games purchased from me will be from the eShop, sadly. Haven't they learned from Shyster Sony that overpricing doesn't work, and their own system, the original low-risk Wii dominated from the get-go, selling at a reasonable price (at least until HDtv's became affordable)?
@Captain_Balko Indeed, EA SUX. My hatred for them goes back to the Ultima series and how they sucked Origin Systems dry. In 1990, Origin openly based several bloodthirsty pirates in Ultima VI on senior EA employees Trip Hawkins (Captain Hawkins), Joe Ybarra (Old Ybarra), Bing Gordon (Alastor Gordon) and Steward Bonn (Bonn). "Hawkins was a dreaded pirate who sailed the Britannian seas on his ship 'The Empire,' prior to the events of Ultima VI. His cruelty eventually caused him to be murdered by his own crew, who split up the map to his treasures amongst themselves." Richard Garriott also named a morgue after Hawkins. Hawkins' tombstone reads: "Here lies Captain Hawkins. He died a hard death and he deserved it." This gives an idea how much his crew hated him. The practice continued in Ultima VII wherein three generators formed the EA logo, the initials of the "bad guys" Elizabeth and Abraham were "EA," and the Guardian was the "Destroyer of Worlds" (Origin's motto was "We Create Worlds").
If they look at the ratio of customers who actually owned a 3DS at the time, vs how many of those people purchased the game, they really should be happy, not upset (or even more happy they didn't make it for exclusive for the Vita). I will def buy it (would prefer download, but cart is okay) once my promotion pay kicks in.
Mentally impaired people are the problem, as are politicians who use a crisis to elevate their power, who feel you shouldn't own something for protection (guns), yet it's okay for their 20-30 bodyguards to own them, 'deadly' automatic ones at that.
Kudos to Horberg, for such a fun game at an insanely low price!! Can't wait to see what he does next. As long as he keeps the oldskool fun game play in tact, we'll be happy. Would def love for him to pay more homage to games from the C64/Amiga/NES/SNES era, but with 3DS technology.
I've always been a pinball fan, and lucky to see many of the classics just 15 min away at my local Scandia. That being said, I'm disappointed on how Farsight Studios is handling The Pinball Arcade on the 3DS. I'm glad they've gotten access to a lot of old tables, and they're doing a good job on getting those to the consoles and computer gaming, but nothing but crickets on the 3DS (other than that one barebones game)
Hmmmm...whatever most people tend to post on start/finish times, I imagine it is going to be longer. He wasn't specific on whether you are a time racer or not, or if you already know what to get or not. Me, I enjoy getting immersed in a game, like getting my moneys worth, and hate 'racing' to the end (unless its a racing game, of course).
Gunman Clive is an excellent game, using today's techonology, but using the classic formula of good ole platform gaming, taking me back to C64/Amiga days. Definitely a must have for the price. Wish Nintendo would at least offer some Amiga classics now...

Re: Review: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate (3DS)
@moomoo 5 out of 10 equals a C grade, so a 4.7 is a C-....because he didn't like playing the game on the circle pad? Really?

Just waiting for my 32gb SD Card to arrive from Amazon, then yes, it will be mine.

This is awesome! Still, waiting to see how Castlevania turns out before purchasing Fire Emblem...

3D Boobs. It was only a matter a time.
Re: Wii U Resident Evil: Revelations Will Not Support Wii Remote and Nunchuk
But hopefully they can always fix that by release time. or sometime afterward
Re: Wii U Resident Evil: Revelations Will Not Support Wii Remote and Nunchuk
Too bad, as it was the best way to play, but that won't stop me from wanting to get it.
Re: Activision's Bobby Kotick Is Disappointed With The Launch Of The Wii U
The world is baffled that Activision got away with making a sh*tty remake of GoldenEye64, along with other sh*tty James Bond-Of-Duty games.

Looks good. There is no blood in the game, is there? lol. False advertising....but i'll still buy it.

Re: GPU Images Reveal Wii U Graphical Power
Don't care, MS and Sony will never get a dime from me, ever. (everyone in my family uses Macs, and I stopped buying Sony products a long time ago)

Sure wish I can afford one. :/
Re: Disney Confirms That Junction Point Has Been Closed
I hope Disney didn't pull an 'EA' on Spector, just like EA did with Richard Garriot and Origin Systems

10 out of 10. Just imagine what they could do with HD graphics and on 2 screens, for either the Wii U or the 3DS. Remake this game now, Nintendo!!

Nice Nintendo, but we want ETERNAL DARKNESS re-imagined!!!

Rogue Squadron for 3DS. Do it now, mo fo's.
