Microshaft once again continues to rib Nintendo with the Rare acquistion ('rib' as in the pro wrestling meaning of the term), this being the biggest rib yet. Other than having to be more responsible with my time and money, this seals the deal that I will never buy from Microshaft. Luckily I have all these games on my n64.
I have the new 3DS, and can't stand the control layout for dual thumbs (want to match it more to Mass Effect 3 for the WiiU). Do you get more options to customize if you pay for the full version? Do you get a gyro aiming option (the best way to play on the 3DS anyways)?
Fine, don't take my money, then. While they can make valid arguments against the Wii U, not supporting the 3DS is just a big middle finger in the eye of the company that has helped you make money from the beginning. May your game become a needle in a COD/GTA haystack the size of the whole universe. And go Yooka-Laylee!!
Congrats to the these games (as well as the Vita) doing well in Japan...and NO WHERE ELSE, lol. Ok, PS4 trumps the console sales worldwide, but the 3DS still is the king overall.
Other than Pokemon Shuffle, looks like nothing else this week. Def want more Wii games, but with SMG2, Punch-Out, and Metroid Prime Trilogy keeping me busy, can't really complain
@LUIGITORNADO So the person(s) who suggested Mario Kart, Luigi's Mansion, and Mario Sunshine were idiots to you for breaking away from the core Mario platform formula?
@LUIGITORNADO That's why I wrote 'spin-off.' Keep the main series as is, experiment with other ways of exploring the universe with different characters not using the same formula, keep it fresh.
I would def like to see a spin-off of the Bayonetta universe, with gameplay closer to Darksiders (or even an FPS), more emphasis on open world exploration, with rewards for combos, but not so much punishment if you don't achieve combos
They haven't forgotten the 3DS...but they definitely remember the fat paycheck they got from the other rival companies though for those awards, though. lol
The american actors they had for Eternal Darkness were really good. I thought that that what was this article was implying, but with more well known Hollywood voices for the english dialogue soundtrack.
It makes sense, when you factor everything, not just sales or hardware power. Sorry, but aside from the teen male demo, not everyone from every sex and age group can pick up and easily play Destiny, COD, Dark Souls, etc (not to mention the brutal bugs on some of those multiplat games)
I love AT as a whole, and I really wish they'd let Nintendo have a chance to make one of their games for the Wii U, since you know it'd be good and the quality would be there, as there is so much material from the cartoons that will never be covered in a mini 3DS game or worse, those horrible phone games. Still, this game doesn't look bad at all, but it seems like yet another Wayforward rush job. :/
Got it on release, proud to support Platinum and Nintendo for such a great game, getting the first one included was icing. If only Nintendo did more for advertising, and actually used Bayonetta, in, I don't know, Smash Bros. lol
1) Free Online 2) Best Exclusives. You like games that are fun, not rehashed war games that are 30% game, 70% just watching a movie with pointless QTE. You like games everyone can play, not just your bored souless single guy friends. You like having more controller options than dual stick. 3) Having the option to be able to game or watch movies on the gamepad. An option so good, that Sony copies yet again (really, if your using your phone to play, obviously no one important needs to call you or vice versa. For most of us, we need our phones for business or family or friends). 4) Backwards compatible from the start 5) Overall best economically, compliments PC gaming nicely, where you get better versions of those MicroSony 'exclusives.' A PC and Wii U is like Peanut Butter and Chocolate.
Already downloaded Smash. Still have some interest in WatchDogs, despite the horrible shenanigans Ubi has done with the release, waiting for some reviews...
A+ for the fun I only get from Nintendo and how much I love it, C- for gamepad battery life, and D for marketing. Contrary to what someone else wrote, the Wii U has everything I need, and that person can keep funding Sony making bad Spiderman films. If the dudebro consoles and games win, the gaming industry might as well die at the same time.
@TrueWiiMaster Totally agree with your point on the hypocrisy of this game, the creators, and the media. For the media, it is always open season on mocking christianity, but the entertainment industry has no spine and NO BALLS to make a film, song, or video game mocking Allah or muslims. I dare Edward McMillen to make "Super Jihad Bros and the 77 virgin princesses" or something like that. I can cut and past all the points posted here in defense for the game, but will it ever happen? Nope. F'in cowards. lol.
What?! At least I passed SMB. Wonderboy was hell to play, with that skateboard and million bottomless chasms in that game, not too mention the controls were loose, lag was worse than Resident Evil Revelations Wii U aiming system (ok, not that bad, but pretty bad. lol).
Had to work the last 4 days, so I'm finally playing the games now...so far so good, but I'm confused: in the combos, what does the dot symbolize? Pause? Jump? Hold down the next button? (example: Punch, Punch (dot) Punch). Help me. lol

@RadicalYoseph I was being sarcastic
Re: Australian Rating Confirms That ZombiU is Shuffling Its Way to Xbox One
@LunaticPandora Yeah, that Splatoon game bombed, and was the final nail for the WiiU, lol

Re: Poll: We Need to Talk About amiibo - Where Do You Stand?
They're okay, just wished they made millions more...or make a law to waterboard scalpers
Re: Video: We Tackle The Dual-Stick vs. Motion Controls Splatoon Debate
Dual Stick will always suck. Dual Stick with Gyro aiming like in Splatoon is better. Mouse/Keyboard and WiiMote are best. End of discussion.

Re: Here's The First Round Of Songs Confirmed For Guitar Hero Live
Not one classic rock song in the line up, yuck. Sorry, todays musics just sucks in general, post-Simon Cowell, post-MTV becoming RealityTV.
Re: Poll: Which Characters Do You Want to Win the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot?
Bayonetta and Pious Augustus (from Eternal Darkness) for me

Nice opinion, but this current Wii U owner will never go to MicroSony

Pious Augustus as DLC for Smash Bros. Now. Then a remake next.

Re: Nintendo Download: 27th November (North America)
Mysteriously not on this list, but almost done downloading Darksiders 2 for 9.99. Can't beat that at all. Wonderful 101 is next
