@Kalmaro and why not? Xbox and PS are dumbed down PCs that connect to the TV. Switch is the only true game console out there and is doing a hell of a job. It only needs much more killer apps.

MS typical arrogance. Nintendo has survived ups and downs and many generations while their Xboxes are a joke. Only the 360 did "well". The first Xbox sold just a few more than the Gamecube while the XBO is a joke.

I find interesting how many so-called Nintendo fans here think that it was a good idea. Probably the same ones that want Nintendo go third party and a switch pro to watch Netflix in there.

Switch Pro is like the Wii HD of the late '00s: aN illogical, fever dream by a Nintendo "fan" that will never make true but will keep pushing it with the absurd idea that, if you tell a lie many times it will become a reality.

The whole "leak" is a wishing list of an xboxer or sonyer that wants Nintendo games but don't want to buy a Nintendo console because that will be dumbing down or something.

Even with the covid halting and delaying everything, this was a good year for Nintendo. AC is great, Hyrule warriors AoC was awesome, Smash got some cool DLC characters and Mario Kart Tour is one of nintendo's best mobile titles.

Of course there were things that could have been much better like the rushed but Ok-ish like Super Mario 3D All-Star or Doom Eternal being only digital, but it was a solid year considering the circumstances.

2021 seems much better for Nintendo fans I hope it is.

I tried them as well as Pump it Up and they are way to demanding to have simple fun.

And I never get this logic: "if MK8 sells well then we won't get a MK9". If a game is selling, the logical reason is to keep those customers with a new entry.

Especially when Mario Kart Tour is attracting many new users that haven't got a switch yet and may have helped sell lots of those MK8s on Switch.

@Anti-Matter Those games have way too many barriers that don't let mainstream people enjoy them. There's a reason why those games are only enjoyed by otakus.

Just dance is fun, easy to pick up and play and can be played by many at the time. And you only need a controller to play it.

Whoever says that Nintendo is the side console doesn't know about games. MS and Sony are not game companies. Their consoles are Medium range PCs that connect to the TV.

A game console is about integrated hardware and software, like Arcade gaming. MS and Sony aren't.

It's fine to have one of the twin consoles to have some extra games, but true console gaming is in Nintendo.

Freakin' Animal Crossing is much more a video GAME than dumb Last of Us

When was the last Zelda anniversary that had lots of stuff from Nintendo? It seems that they only release a game or 2 and call it a day.

A compilation of Zelda games would be nice but Nintendo doesn't make compilations unless they have nothing else to show. 3D Mario all-stars feels rushed and quickly put together. The last time Nintendo made a Zelda compilation was when the Gamecube was falling in sales.

I think BoTW2 and maaaaaybe a remake port of some old games and call it a day.

3D All-stars being limited is to give it some value for the anniversary, like they did with the Wii version. Maybe they will release it again who knows? (and seeing how there are still tons and tons of copies available online I doubt it will be that hard to get one.

Super Mario 35th is fine but not as engaging as Tetris 99. I don't believe it will stays for very long on gamers' minds.

Of the Sega ages games I downloaded my favorites are Virtua racing, Shinobi and Sonic 2.

I also got Monster World, Phantasy star and Out run but haven't played with them in a while. I lost interest in phantasy star very quickly.

I'll vote 2D IF they actually make good 2D games that aren't spin-offs (the awful Triforce heroes), pseudo-remakes (Link between worlds), or lazy remakes (Link's awakening).

Well, that's unexpected. I always thought they were doing fine with their pirate consoles.

I found that when I bought my 3DS and plugged my MKDS game. It was a funny surprise.

I really can't complain about third parties output. It is huge and with some great titles there. But goddamn I wish they weren't just freakin' ports.

It's awesome to have Resident evil zero, 1, 4, 5, 6, and the Revelations. But these are old games. The same for Final Fantasy.

It's like they want to make games for switch but not AAA ones. That's frustrating.

PS5...when they cut the price, has some more interesting games and give it a redesign it to get rid of that horrible form factor.

Xbox? never. That company has no place in gaming.

PC? Maybe. My current one is showing its age so it will be a matter of time until I change it. But even so, I am not that much of a PC gamer.

Pikmin has never been a successful game series. It was only pushed because miyamoto wanted it to be the next Mario (HAH!). Mainstream don't know and don't care about Pikmin. LIke Metroid, this is for very niche Nintendo fans.

Not convinced. Other complex games have been ported to switch, with compromises sure, but they work.

I have it for my SNES and is amazing. It's better on VS but nobody I know enjoy these games -_-

They prefer the sonys and xboxes because they can release their awful games and practices and everybody buys them while in Nintendo they have to compete with Nintendo's quality games (ther worst Nintendo games is miles better than the "best" EA game).

They keep insulting us, patronizing us and treating us like third rate customers because you jump like babies everytime a "rumored" game comes from them to a Nintendo console...and either never comes or we get a garbage effort.
