Yeah, No. They are competing for the same time and space than the competition. And the fact that they are doing it with a "weaker" hardware is amazing and I bet the rest of the oligarchs cannot stand.

@graysoncharles I felt the graphics too basic because of the 120fps gameplay they were aiming to. Not bad but very bland.

I think Star Fox Zero is the one that could benefit as a Switch port with more SANE controls and a graphical overhaul. Fatal Frame would be cool too.

More like nobody knew those series then so they rebrand them to have a chance than a "taboo".

This game looks much better than the bargain ones in the app store or google play one. Nintendo's quality even in the cheaper games is umatchable.

With that said, I agree that this game would work better on mobile. I guess that it was the investors pushing for this game on switch. And seeing that it doesn't costs a lot to make, maybe that's why Nintendo decided to compile.

I doubt they expect another hit like 15 years ago. For them, is just another game to make the Switch's library diverse.

No. I like Nintendo games on their ecosystem. Games that have their own hardware work much better than in generic ones. Nintendo games have a much better quality because their own environment to thrive. Remember:

A great example is Sega. Sega games were much better when they have their own Hardware. When they became a Third Party, they became generic and unfocused because they stop taking their games seriously.

@Trajan I really dislike this statement. This "bring them to PC" arguments just shows that you don't really like Nintendo games. You just play games for status, and not lowering yourself to get a Nintendo consoles.

If you want Nintendo games then get a Nintendo console. Period.

I do have a PS4 along my Nintendo Switch but for me is the opposite. Nintendo consoles are always my primary ones while Playstation is the complementary one. I may change it for a PC soon who knows.

But one thing is for sure: I refuse to buy Xbox machines. They can burn in hell for all I care.

This reminded me of the "review bombs" of The Last Jedi, Terminator Dark fate and Batwoman. Painting the reviews as a bunch of fans angry and giving bad scores just because.

I remember when Just Dance was announced 10 years ago. I thought it would be one more of those Wii games that get lost or forgotten. And here it is, 10 years and counting! Amazing!

I think I'll get it for the Wii. It would be cool to have THE LAST Wii game on my collection.

I can understand people here not liking this game, but the majority of the “complaints” are typicsl gamer snobbism.

I hate them too as well as loot boxes but we all know that’s what they were doing since Fire Emblem Heroes is making millions thanks to that. And it was also because YOU whined and cried when Super Mario Run was a complete game for mere 10 bucks! So it was pretty much your fault guys.

Are you serious? On-screen controls suck. There is no single game on mobile that works well with that kind of control scheme. Even Fortnite needs help with plastic buttons that adhere to the phone. Nintendo mobile games are designed around the way normal people use cellphones. And guess how normal people use cellphones? The idea of these games are to be used anywhere. No normal perdon will be carrying a gamepad for christ sake. I agree that it feels weird drifting but you get used to and the controls are very intuitive. And if you don’t like it you can disable them.

Everybody misses the points about these Nintendo mobile games. People asking for the exact same experience un consoles are being absurd.

Nintendo has been very specific that their mobile games will be short and practical to use and their job is to attract new gamers to their IPs in consoles.

For what they are (mobile time-wasters) they do a good job.

@HumanDog Hank Rogers was against the idea of licensing the name but the Tetris Company board saw that it would be very profitable so they went ahead with it.

@Nagi Panel de Pon and the weird fairies weren't fit for western mainstream audiences. Calling it Tetris and using Yoshi was a much better idea

@simevidas That has nothing to do with that. Pokemon was released when the Game Boy was on it way out. A good game will sell no matter the hardware.

Skyward Sword was simply not a good game. Too linear, the story was ridiculous and it was nothing but puzzles, puzzles, puzzles. It is one of the worst Zelda games ever.
