Re: Poll: As Sora Joins Smash Bros. Ultimate, How Much Of The DLC Roster Do You Own?

DK-Fan

The only ones I didn't get were Byleth (I don't care about Fire emblem), the ARMS character (I don't care about ARMS) and the Xenoblade ones (I don't care...well, you get the idea).

I got Steve for mere curiosity and Joker because it looked cool but I only played with it like 2 or 3 times.

I don't care about Kingdom Hearts either...but I am curious about Sora.

I'll wait and see.

Re: Video: Why Didn't Square Enix Port The Kingdom Hearts Collection To Switch?

DK-Fan

So the Switch, the most succesful console these days, doesn't deserve spending on it? Ok Square Enix! Treat me like a 2d rate customer and I'll treat you like a 2d rate company. How about that?

I 'm tired of this "but the costs! the hardware!" excused when they spend MILLIONS on the other consoles that even sell less than Switch (Xbox obvs).

What pisses me off the most is that Nintendo allows this. Talk about having dignity.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting The "Cloud Versions" Of Kingdom Hearts On Switch?

DK-Fan

Of course not!

I understand Part 3 being difficult...but the others?! They are Playstation 3 games…no wait, PLAYSTATION 2 GAMES! EVEN A 3DS GAME!!!

These cloud versions are insulting to Nintendo owners. It’s pretty much companies saying “you don’t deserve our time and devotion to make proper working games on your console so here are some cloud-based crap versions that you will never own.”

Re: Soapbox: 10 Reasons Why Metroid Fusion Is The Best Game In The Series

DK-Fan

Oh for christ's sake...

".The story is awesome"

No it isn't! It's silly and absurd. We are supossed to care about that Adam guy that has never been refered in ANY game because, guess what? It doesn't exist. It's Sakamoto's ridiculous obsession with ART! and MANGA! and FEELINGS! that don't belong in Metroid.

"It proves Metroid can work in a linear framework"

It actually proves the contrary. Metroid IS NOT A LINEAR GAME. it's not in its foundations. Never was and never will. But of course, non-linear gameplay gets in the way of the "genius" Sakamoto and it's artsy storytelling (ha!)

"It’s challenging"

WHAT?! This is even EASIER than Super Metroid! What on earth are you talking about?! This Metroid for babies for the love of god!

The rest is subjective and doesn't matter. But this absurd revisionism disguised as an "opinion" really grinds my gears. It really shows how many supposed Nintendo fans doesn't respect their history.

Sakamoto is not and never will be the series' creator. He wasn't even involved except for cutscenes and other stuff. The moment Iwata (yes, it's his fault) put him in charge of the series it went downhill with this and the awful Metroid MOM. He is more concerned with absurd storytelling than making a good game.

Even Metroid Prime is more Metroid than this thing ever will be.

Re: Talking Point: Remember When People Thought Switch Would Fail?

DK-Fan

Nothing new. There's something on the game industry that just craves for Nintendo to fail. If they are doing great, something's wrong and they should be a third party because reasons. If they are doing bad, they should be a third party because of course.

That's why I love Nintendo mobile games: because they proved to those industry lap dog's how wrong they were. They for years said over and over again that Nintendo would be a huge success if they made phone games and quit hardware. Of course that never happened.

It even baffles me how Nintendo "fans" hate when Nintendo is doing great. Oh no no no they should be doing BAD so they can make only the games THEY want and be the small fish in the big bowl. I find sad and funny how to date many cannot accept the Wii being a hit and calling the Game Cube "underrated"(it wasn't. it was just a mediocre console).

Switch is one of Nintendo's best and although there are parts that could be improved, I am glad Nintendo is doing good and even beating the overrated Xboxes and PSes.

Re: Digital Foundry Explores The Potential Of 4K DLSS On A Next-Gen Switch

@CazSonOfCaz Well buddy, 99% of the real world don't mind. So you'll keep waiting for non-existent hardware for a long time because you are to weak to watch something that is not 4k 120fps DDLS and brings you breakfast to your bed.

@Digimon24 Yup. I can point out their absurd logic and entitled wishes. How about that?

@Bolt_Strike As always, Nintendo just can't win right? Oh no no no there's always SOMETHING! "Iz da kazualz" "is da shurtajes" "is za 4 year abdantaje" or some other fanboy excuse. Typicalñ.

Re: Talking Point: As The Fan-Made 2D Metroid Prime Game Is Shut Down, Where Do You Stand On Nintendo's Takedowns?

DK-Fan

Does these people think that Nintendo will see it, squee on delight, hire them and Miyamoto would arrive and have a pizza with them?

Why on earth would Nintendo let anybody play with their IPs? And not only do this, by the way. Because it's fine when other companies protect their stuff but how dare Nintendo do the same?

Make your own IPs and stop standing on the shoulders of anyone else.

Re: Nintendo Is Adding A New Driver To Its Mobile Game Mario Kart Tour

DK-Fan

Well finally! I was getting tired of the Marios and Peaches clones.

It seems that they are running out of ideas for new Tours. They feel very repetitive and keep recycling the same tracks with a few twitches. I liked it when they introduced tracks based in real-life locations (hence the Tour name).

At least the changes in bonus have improved and it's much more fun logging in and beating the daily challenges.

Re: What Do You Want To See From The Dragon Quest Series In The Future? Square Enix Wants To Know

DK-Fan

Nothing. DQ is a classic series that is good as it is.

It can be improved in some slight QoL areas but the charm of the series is that it has a classic old-school easy to learn hard to master gameplay and stories that feel like classic tales and legends instead of weird anime sci-fi stuff like many others ouy there.

Not every series needs to change. They can improve of course.

Re: Feature: 20 Super NES Classics Nintendo Should Bring To Switch Online

DK-Fan

Mmm-Hmm. Ok.

1. Third-party games are the ones that decide to release those games on their service. Not Nintendo. They have already said that years ago, but I guess having selective amnesia is fun or something.

2..Most of them are licensed games that have been pretty much lost in trademark issues (NBA Jam). Not to mention that those companies (like Acclaim) DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE.

3. I really doubt that games like Street Fighter Alpha 2 for SNES will be released when the much better one in the SF Collection is available to buy. Again, that's a Capcom thing, not Nintendo's.

4. I love TMNT but again, LICENSE ISSUES. Why Konami (again, that's up to them) would spent lots of money for a game that willl gave them little in return?

It's not so much I am defending Nintendo (I mean, I do but is not because of fanboyism), but I am tired and fed up with these whining and crying of things that are not that easy to get by. You all act like spoiled children. It's annoying.
