@SnackBox The only people that are getting riled up are a small minority online. Most people generally don't care about small flaws. All of your complaining won't matter because nintendo is still going to make millions of dollars from this at the end of the day. Just enjoy it. Or don't buy it. I agree with @Cosmo_Joe. A lot of you are wayyyy too entitled.

I'm not sure what's wrong with scalpers? They just want more money. It's not illegal or extremely immoral.

@MoonKnight7 if something is limited edition more people feel a need to buy it before it leaves store shelves. It also leads to it becoming a collectors item down the line.

This game isn't doing it for me. It just looks really boring and dark(literally too dark). There's nothing that really sticks out as great. And all the characters look like generic white dudes.

@nessisonett flamenco/tango music is great, but they're horrible choices for a strategy game.

Why are people always arguing in the nl comments? Do Nintendo fans feel a definitive compulsion to argue?

I personally feel that there are so many ways to twist the pokémon formula into something new and exciting and this game doesn't seem to do that. It just feels like too much of a clone without bringing anything new to the table. I'll probably wait for a heavy, heavy discount and buy it.

This looks legitimately bad. I'm not sure why they couldn't have done a pixelated style if they couldn't get 3d down.

The Japanese cover is more aesthetically pleasing and exciting but the na/euro cover gives a better preview of what the game entails with a fun tagline. This is a hard decision imo.

70$ can buy either 11 movie tickets, food for two weeks, 14 t shirts, 3 pairs of jeans, 70 comics, 16 books, 10 funko pops, or three tanks of gas for my car. I'd never pay over 50$ for a video game, unless it's a bundle or from a game studio I really want to support because I know almost all of them are going to go on sale or I could trade/barter/wait until next Gen for the price to go down.

I've seen things that are much more sexist and exploitative done in recent movies and TV shows so I'm not sure why people are THIS upset over this instance? I'm not saying nobody should be upset, just confused about why this drew so much ire.

I think it's a great idea but it isn't enough. I think that a better idea would be to have each user create an account on metacriric and for each game they want to review they have to send in a video recording of 20 minutes of them playing the game plus a screenshot of when they eventually stop playing the game, noting whether they finished or not. Maybe with a downloadable screen recording app? I think that would drastically cut down on review bombing. Rotten tomatoes should do something similar.

This is... Odd. The internet is a horribly toxic place but I'm not sure if a game about being a mod is the best way to raise awareness of the issue. Also this sounds like a boring game. If it were a game about a vigilante who finds racist/sexist trolls and beats them to death I would buy it. But being a mod? Ehhhhhhhh. Just my opinion, I'm probably not the demographic for this game.

I haven't seen zoids in maybe 18 years but this game looks really fun.

It actually wasn't the content that disturbed me, it was the fact that he was doing it next to a baby doll in the backseat with him. And some of the pictures looked... off.

So many devs have "lovecraftian-inspired" things in their games that it's not really special anymore. There are so many cultures with so many widely differing mythologies and/or beliefs- Yoruba, Korean, Apache, Inuit, etc. How come we never get something based on those mythologies? It's almost always Norse, Japanese, Chinese, Greek, or something vaguely Eurocentric- and now lovecraft. 99% of people haven't even read lovecraft.

@SSJW Do y'all realize when I say "immaturity" i don't explicitly mean age? You can be mentally immature, emotionally immature, immature in the way you view other people, immature as in naive... etc.

@westman98 There's definitely a correlation between being immature and doing unsavory things. Only an immature person would view people as nothing but sexual objects and manipulate them to that end. And I wasn't blaming Nintendo, just pointing out that smash bros created the perfect storm for sexual harassment if you think about it.

I think a lot of this wouldn't happen if.. honestly, smash players were more mature and the game wasn't as pervasive throughout multiple age demographics. Maybe this can be solved by having a junior league(ages up to 17) and a senior league(ages 18+) for all official smash tournaments with harsh repurcussions if the two leagues mingle in any way, shape, or form. I know that won't work 100% but it could be a start. Also just talking to younger people about what sexual harassment actually looks like and teaching them how to treat the opposite sex correctly would cut down on a lot of this as well.

@Xylnox some people are "unique and special" for all the wrong reasons, and they shouldn't be replaced(like parents bad enough to raise a child like this, for example). When society realizes that the world will be a better place. Won't happen in our lifetimes.

@mesome713 technically the Pokémon trainer is Asian, canonically Ryu is Asian. I've never played the persona games but I thought all of those characters were Japanese.
