Features:
- Many diverse and challenging regions.
- Horrifying Lovecraftian enemies and bosses.
- Unique and brutal weapons and spells.
- Powerful and dynamic items.
You'll find it waiting for you on the eShop today for £14.99 / $15.99. The team tells us that Elden: Path of The Forgotten is "a sombre, intriguing, and exquisite journey that invites the players to discover a narrative by themselves".

That screen shake..!
@stipey Was just going to mention that. I wish developers would tone down the use of this feature. It's one of the most annoying things when overused.
My brain managed to read Elden Ring and I started to shake with excitement xD
Brutal technical combat... where? There must be a dozen of these on the eshop, this looks as generic as the others.
Dont feel so good after that screen Shake 😛
Screen shake has to be used subtly so that you can feel the impact without it obscuring your vision. This might be some of the worst screen shake I've ever seen.
@spirit_flame I was thinking the same thing... I sure didn’t get that vibe from the trailer...
@TimboSlice It's got to a stage now where every Tom, Dick or Harry is publishing on the Switch. Initially a year and a half ago, quality was good and pricing was a plus. Now however... the Indies seem to be racing towards the bottom - iffy quality and overpricing. Some of the lesser dev's are now re-skinning their games - plethora of "driving simulations" Now days I check the publisher back catalogue on the eshop to check quality and then Youtube for footage.
Hopefully the devs made an option to disable screen shake. It also looks like other spell/attack effects have a jarring/blinding (for lack of a better descriptor) issue. The whole time I watched the clip everything was jittery and disjointed. Maybe that’s their point, I wonder?
Not sure how copywrite works in this case, but won’t this conflict with Elden Ring?
Looks like a blend between Another World and Ultima. Heck why not.
This is old news. Hyper Light Drifter came out years ago!
So many devs have "lovecraftian-inspired" things in their games that it's not really special anymore. There are so many cultures with so many widely differing mythologies and/or beliefs- Yoruba, Korean, Apache, Inuit, etc. How come we never get something based on those mythologies? It's almost always Norse, Japanese, Chinese, Greek, or something vaguely Eurocentric- and now lovecraft. 99% of people haven't even read lovecraft.
@Cool_Squirtle I'm gonna assume it has to do with the creator's vision, and making what they want. Some devs still do that, as opposed to devs that try to market to a certain audience.
Doesn't look bad, but I have seen better.
