@electrolite77 yeah I don’t disagree, it was the hardware however, as it is pretty much a switch in all sense and purposes. The redesign switch was the one.

10 Million launch is fantastic! But on the flip side, if you compare it to the PS5 say, they just didn’t have the stock. What we see here is fantastic organisation and prep work by Nintendo. Lifetime sales I would assume, make it a raging success (like Switch).

@electrolite77 I believe it was at least 50% naming convention. Everywhere and everyone I’ve ever spoken to says similar. I quite enjoyed the WiiU was quirky.

I think it’s a little premature to say the switch2 is hugely successful, I don’t doubt it will / could be.

@Omarzy Yeah I agree, but that was because majority of people didn’t understand due to the name and advertising side. I even had gamer friends who were confused about it. (WiiU).

We cannot blame it on politics, I do not believe that for one second. Lineup, maybe yeah. Console itself, more likely.

I’m a diehard Nintendo fan and I don’t have or particularly desire the switch2 (yet).

@Kiyata I agree, I think once the switch 2 gets a decent line up “maybe” a lot more people will be tempted.

Unpopular opinion, but I think making a switch 2 wasn’t the move. They should have mixed it up, with something brand new and shiny.

I love a 2D side scrolling Mario platformer. Very replay-able once you’ve had a break.

Not a handheld for me. 3DS was a fantastic size, switch lite was probably as large as I’m willing to go for a “Handheld device”

I want Nintendo to do well. I will inevitably get a switch2 at some point, most likely if they do a lite version. As at this size, it is not a handheld it’s more of a tablet which I hate.

Also I do not support and will not support GKC or digital only products, I’m just old fashioned and see these things as a route to streaming games.

Nintendo of late has been loosing their magic for me, but I want them to do well. Switch 1 had some incredible games and I know they still have it in them.

If I had a wish, it was we had a tiny handheld again and a home console, I don’t “love” the hybrid only path. But I understand why.

Yes it requires voice acting. But that would require some effort, which the games sell like hot cakes for minimal effort.

Not sure about the countdown clock, only thing killing my hype.
I want to get behind it, but that clock gets me every-time.
