Switch sports isnt and hasn’t ever been £50. If you are going to write articles about switch games and especially if you are going to review them then you ought to make sure you have your facts straight before you proceed!

Surely after then it will be time to reconsider your review, no? Considering it was marked down as being barebones, even though it was impossible to rate the online experience. Also, 2 sports have been added since.

Chibi Robo came out very late in the gamecubes life. This definitely deserves a mention.

This article is in commemoration of exactly a year of TOTK yet Alana beat it “over a year ago“? Even if it was received a week or so early for review, it still sounds like a rushed play through.

If this game doesn’t make it to a Nintendo console, then this article is irrelevant here.

My first Paper Mario game was Origami King, so never played this before, so am interested. Am sure the fact that it is 30fps won’t bother me. HOWEVER, I do find it a bit frustrating that a console from over 20 years ago could run it at 60fps but the switch can’t.
Before anyone comes at me and says ‘what about all the graphical bells and whistles etc’, to which I would say:- “Well, yes, fine I accept the graphics etc are negligibly better but so they should be. Considering the switch ought to be multiple times more powerful/competent than the GameCube, the fps should be at least on par with the gc version, along with the resolution etc boost”.

Apart from my usual gaming habits I have a bunch of Pokemon to move from Sun>Bank>Home, then some possibly to Scarlet.

I can’t say exclamation marks in game titles bothers me at all if I’m honest and most of the examples you gave, the exclamation marks worked with imo.
Not an expert but In Japanese written culture, exclamation marks seem to be used quite often, especially in emphasis. Most of the examples of games given in that article originated in Japan, so the emphasis worked imo. Exclamation marks in titles seems a very Japanese thing to me, so most of those titles looked deserving of exclamation marks!

Like so many others here, pretty baffled by those results. Not so much about the top 4 more about some of the inclusions. No Donkey Kong, Kirby or mega man? They definitely deserve to be on the list more than some of their picks!

I would love it to be released again in any capacity. From what I remember, the handling was spot on!

I still think of Auto modellista, a pretty obscure racer from ps2/gc times.

Just the game, along with the graphical updates and whatever QOL improvements etc. New gaming content would be nice too.

Disagree. A port would need at the very least to be done with the permission of the copyright owners.

Incorrect assertion in the article.
There is no such thing as a “pc port” of Oot. If there was, it would have been done by the original developers.

@Daniel36 I have it on Switch. It was given to me as a present with all the dlc. I’m not sure if the “giver” paid extra for the dlc but I somehow doubt it. The game is absolutely excellent. I 100%’d it without spending even 1 penny and I wasn’t even aware of any monetisation.
Am glad to see it in top 40, as far as I’m concerned it deserves every sale it gets!

How many non-collectors are going to buy at that price? It’s not worth it unless the badge or notebook is really yearned for. Most people I’m sure will order it elsewhere and get it a tenner cheaper. There are plenty of good options in the UK

It’s a good game, I can recommend. I’m a massive fan of rune factory and whilst I don’t prefer fae farm over it, the free game trial was enough to convert me into a customer.

Yeh, Nintendo should just sue these people for copyright breach. There’s been barely any effort on the part of the developers to even bother trying to differentiate between their rip off monsters and the real Pokemon.
What’s the point of Nintendo going to all the time, effort and expense of trademarking all the Pokemon if they’re not even going to try and enforce it?

Going to say something completely left field with Chibi Robo park patrol. The most charming game I’ve ever come across.
Also would love to go in blind on OG Chibi Robo. Also Pokemon b/w2. I would use a completely different team. I’d also love to forget and replay r racer evolution (gc) and wreckfest.
Also, for obvious reasons, BOTW and TOTK.

I’m actually not sure about Mario and Luigi atm. I feel like the jury’s still out.
However, I’ve played a fair amount of the new Wario ware and really like the new take on Warios voice!

I mean, I don’t usually moan about the graphical or performance issues but there’s an area in the dlc where the frame rate really suffers (swamp area).
It’s literally juddered to a stop there before to the point I was worried the game would crash. I think that area needs fixing/patching if possible.

@BANJO I’d go as far as saying excellent. Campaign is challenging and extremely enjoyable and even online is excellent!

Can’t be very creative with my casting ideas. Sorry. Not really up to speed with many current actors. I would say Brian Blessed for Ganon but he is/will be too old unfortunately. Perfect voice imo tho!
Also, Ik she’s not an actress but I think Serena Williams would make an excellent Gerudo warrior!

My amiibo dream is likely impossible, due to the sheer volume of characters in the series but personally I’d love a hitmonlee amiibo!

I never really noticed the va in Mario/Wario games that much before. Having watched the comparison video I realised just how talented Charles Martinet was/is.
I thought Kevin Afghani was ok as Wario. Not as good as Martinet but ok. Va in games has never been 1 of my priorities, however after watching the video I’ve realised just how much the va adds to Warios personality!
Am looking forward to the game. Hopefully Warios “new voice” will grow on me.

@Maxz Really? I do wonder just who is laughing. I suggest you check my earlier posts, as the earlier ones have 8 individual likes. That means quite a few people agree with me, as opposed to the 3 or 4 people railing against my views. I actually think you should read some of my earlier posts, then you may learn I didn’t accuse the whole site of a lack of integrity, just some of the journalism. Also, it’s not just this 1 isolated article. I’ve seen a lot more cheerleading almost to the point of promotion of especially Ps5 but also other devices on other articles here. It’s also become much more prevalent in the last few months imo.
