Maybe that rumoured Donkey Kong game will be shown. After all, they have done nothing so far and I think it’s DK’s 40th anniversary this year. Also, the SMO team must have been doing something since 2017! So hopefully we will see something later.
My dream would simply be something Chibi Robo related, preferably something more akin to the original.

It really depends on which titles you are referring to.
3rd parties are a law unto themselves but it’s my understanding all platform holders had a retro gaming service right up to last gen.
Again, I feel some are acting extremely entitled, whilst the game companies don’t “owe us” these retro titles people are clamouring for.

I disagree. The owners of these IPs have every right to do whatever they want with their IPs and if they want to do nothing with the historical titles from said IPs then that’s their prerogative.
No gamer is entitled to x game being re-released/remastered etc. Gamers shouldn’t act in this way IMO.

I already have it too. Arrived early, on Saturday. Awesome game, so much fun!

Seems strange saying this but for me, it has to be miitopia. I’ve had so much fun playing it! Only limit in miitopia is your own creativity in casting. Also I never had the 3ds version.
That said, it’s not even an option in the poll as it didn’t score high enough

I was definitely part of that 20%. Bought 3 last year. 1 as a gift, 1 for myself, as backup to my OG launch Switch and 1 for my daughter. So there are 3 in my household atm. All 3 of them are played daily, too.

Nice to see some cherry picking at its finest. Afaik both the famicom games are full remakes. So I guess you was expecting 2 full remakes for the price of 1? I’ve seen a few people who are fans of the series here, who are more than happy with the pricing.

I’m personally in the “don’t time travel” camp. However I don’t see TT’ing as cheating and I don’t begrudge those that do it.. doing it. It’s a game and people should be able to play it how they want

After all the controversy, I have recently been playing Sword. I went in blind and have really, really enjoyed it! IMO it’s a great game, dexit or no dexit.

Personally I don’t want any more ports but I understand if, say Sm3dw and Pikmin 3 were ported, as I feel these are the more deserving. For those clamouring for a Zelda port. Are you mad? That would actually be a port of a port and imo would be being too greedy and going too far. Personally i would rather they made NEW games although I understand the use of ports to fill gaps in the release schedule.
Also, no mention of Nintendoland? Some games that were mentioned would require a significant reworking, so I’m surprised it wasn’t mentioned.

Scumbags who deserve the book thrown at them and no you can’t justify their actions by saying Nintendo should release their older games. These are Nintendo’s IPs, therefore their property. Therefore whatever they choose to do with them is their business and theirs only.

Looks like half of Wii play is on there and 3/5ths of Wii sports. Casts a cloud over whether the series will return on the switch.
I hope it does though, was hoping for some Switch sports and party at some stage.

An excellent idea, well implemented and some truly stunning islands, unfortunately ruined yet again online by the moronic minority.

As requested I provided a dodo code, plainly for Alex, so he had the opportunity to come. Unfortunately some people have nothing better to do online than spoil things for others. It was very apparent that the dodo code was provided for Alex only, however that didn’t stop countless others clearly ignoring the purpose and coming to my island in their droves to such an extent that my internet crashed. So, as I had a mention in the chat from I presume a mod/nl staff telling me mine would be the next island visited, I assumed that would be the case. However and possibly the most galling thing for me was that after my net crashed and everyone was kicked, obviously the dodo code was reset and I literally saw Alex fail to connect to what I assume was my island with my own eyes on the livestream.
I was gutted. Also to all you visitors who should know better. If none of the residents have shook the money trees then there’s obviously a reason this is the case. It’s certainly not an open invitation for strangers to come along and help themselves to each and every one! Some people are just plain jealous on top of having zero decency!!

TPC try and impose these financial restrictions on everyone, with the implied threat that they will lose their Pokemon if they let their subscriptions lapse. What scummy money grabbing they have become! No wonder people “gen” and create duplicate Pokemon. You can’t have it both ways Nintendo! You are making Pokemon too cost prohibitive

It’s not going to reach a much larger audience. Let’s face it, even if it did well amongst fans in the kickstarter. It was a niche game to begin with and will be lucky to hit 750k on the Switch. As for the other platforms, combined it probably won’t sell half of that amount.

I perfectly understand that. I’m just speaking from a personal perspective. I don’t begrudge others buying Wii u ports but not for me personally. Unless they had substantial content added and were priced as budget games but in all reality we know the latter hasn’t been the case so far.

No ports thank you. I already owned a Wii u and played to death all the games I wanted to on there. If I was to buy any ports the only ones I can think of I would be interested in from Nintendo platforms would be Chibi robo original (or even collection of that and park patrol!) remastered if possible. Or Rush 2 (N64). Again, remastered and/or brought up to date with modern graphics, or RR64. As above. Oh, also a massive long shot but Auto modellista (GameCube)

@Kr96 Sales-wise Xenoblade isn’t even in the 2nd string tier of Nintendo IP’s and a remake/remaster of an old game in the series isn’t going to be able to cut it as a system seller at a critical time of the year, unless it has other, bigger games as support. That’s not to say it isn’t a fantastic series though.

Anything under 30% off isn’t worth bothering about, as for some reason, games are about that much more expensive than the best price you can find for them physically. Especially Nintendo games. I’ve no idea why!
