@Shade_Koopa I got two tvs at home, one supporting HDR and the other not, both have the same issue. Tried juggling between settings, and could not find any way to not get it to freeze when I turn it on from sleep mode while docked. And I’ve been using the original cables and charger. First I sent the dock, they replaced it saying it was faulty, but the replacement didn’t help. Sent the entire lot of accessories and console, they sent them back saying all of fine, but it’s not. Can’t say I’m happy with Nintendo

My console freezes when I turn it on from sleep mode while docked, support didn’t even try to test this scenario, got the console back with the same issue :/

Let’s see if it stops my switch 2 from freezing when putting it on the dock..

Given that my dock freezes the console 90% of the times and I had to send it to support, if I get that email I won’t be easy

When I turn the switch2 on when it’s docked, it freezes. Power button, joycon, anything used to get it back on makes it freeze. Meaning no signal to tv. If I remove it from dock, it’s dead. 20 secs reset and power cable only way to resuscitate. No issues in handheld mode. I guess I’m so lucky that I need to send the dock for a holiday to assistance

Is it only mine Switch 2 that freezes if I try to wake it with detached joycons? Dock light turns on but nothing on screen. If I take it out, screen remains off, all unresponsive. I can only soft reset and wake up with the cable

The only thing I’d have liked to know is what difference does it make if I do or don’t do a system transfer when keeping the Switch 1. Doing it does empty the switch 1? If I don’t do it I still have access to all software etc, so what exactly does it perform? Nintendo should have made it more clear, and not putting the “select this if you don’t have a switch” 😐

I won’t be getting any third party on switch 2 if this idiocy of game keys is not taken back. Ps5 or Xbox versions will run them better, in any case

@SirLink I didn’t know pro 1 can’t wake up switch 2. Really disappointing

So not only they pass down the bucket of inflation to the consumer, but also the bucket of memory, so you need to get much more storage than it’s has been with Switch 1.
And not to mention that in some years time these servers will be switched off, so you won’t be able to redownload anymore, so a storage of some type will be suggested to not lose the game. Great idea indeed

So down the line when they will decide “time’s up” and turn off servers, you won’t be able to download the game anymore and if it’s already downloaded maybe it won’t run because can’t be verified via internet anymore. We are heading into a dark age

So it will hurt less when it will become Concord 2
