Excited for this, one of the first pc games i have memories of playing. I hope there is an option to have the original cutscenes

@ZealMajin When it happened to me there was some black foam in the cart spot to make it look like there was a game if you look in through the side, so probably good to give it a shake before opening too

Happened to me with Metroid Dread. Took it back to the Walmart where I had gotten it and it was pretty obvious that they did not believe my story of a sealed game with no cart inside. Made it pretty satisfying when they insisted on opening the replacement before I left yhe store and it was also missing a cart (there was an audible gasp from the customer in line behind me). Fortunately, third time was the charm so I was able to leave with the game.

Was looking at the top selling Switch games recently. Minecraft and Monster Hunter Rise were the only non Nintendo games in the top 30, and Minecraft is the only one that has not had any sort of release exclusivity with regards to the Switch besides some Nintendo themed extras

This game was how I played Yellow as a kid since I did not have a Game Boy. The Switch was actually my first handheld system, but I did also get a 3DS a couple years ago.

Not sure how much I will play this beyond the mini games if there are no games for it to link to.

Transporter is working for me now, was able to transfer a box full of Mew into Bank from Pokemon Red

2002 for me. In addition to the ones listed we also got Nightfire and Timesplitters 2.

My Amazon pre-order was delayed until the end of March so I got the game digitally but was able to score a physical copy at Walmart this week

I'm hoping they get added to the NSO service, but feel like it is more likely that The Pokemon Company will have their own separate app with another subscription to be able to play the main line games

@xavieruniverse How great would it be if they shadow dropped Galaxy 2 around the time the movie comes out. Thought they might have an entirely new Mario game to go with it, but feel like they are saving that to launch with the next system.

Pre-ordered the physical version. One of my favorite games, cannot wait to play it again after all these years.

Still enjoying playing it on Switch, almost through the campaign in Secret Agent difficulty. The small stutters on the Xbox version really bothered me after playing through the Switch version and not experiencing them. Played some 4 player deathmatch with my brother in law, nephew, and niece last night and it was a lot of fun. The old guys used N64 controllers and the kids used pro controllers after trying the N64 controllers for less than a minute.

Also love being able to play Goldeneye in handheld.

@eltomo I didn't come up with it but am happy to spread the word so more people can enjoy this game.

Probably going to use the N64 controller when playing online, I tried playing with a pro controller and it was pretty difficult since the default control option in the game was selected.

@eltomo I played through the entire campaign (on the easiest difficulty) in handheld mode, just had to remap the controls in the system menu to swap the left and right joysticks, ZL to ZR, L to ZR, A to L, and B to R, and then select the Solitaire control option in the game. Playing the game like this in handheld was lots of fun and very satisfying.

@Don It would be great if they remastered Agent Under Fire, Nightfire, Everything or Nothing, and From Russia with Love for modern consoles. Would also love to see The World is not Enough added to the NSO service.

It is kind of wild that Goldeneye is the only James Bond game that can be played on current generation consoles.

Played through the game on Agent mode with the remapped controls that had been suggested and had a great time. Made me feel like i was 12 years old again. Looking forward to going back and trying the higher difficulties later.

@JuanRdzpr I have been using that setup and it has been fun to play. Looking forward to playing some more this weekend.

@CharlieGirl Technically true, but pretty sure up to three people can play as Oddjob in a four player game

@Perryg92 the original had the ability to play in widescreen and even had a dual stick style control option

For single player games I prefer physical, but for multiplayer games I have started to prefer digital for the convenience

@Greenmanalishi I remember renting it from Blockbuster also and after finishing the game pretty quickly feeling like it was a waste of a rental.

Goldeneye. Cannot wait to play online with friends. Got all of us N64 controllers in anticipation

It is strange that there has not been some sort of Call of Duty on the Switch yet since it had been on Gamecube, Wii, and even WiiU

Not sure if I would consider it difficult to find since it is included in Rare Replay on the Xbox Marketplace, but it will be interesting to see what comes out of this.

Hope this means Goldeneye will not crawl when playing multiplayer with rockets and mines. Not expecting 60fps, but just a smoother experience would be great

@DropDash i wonder if this eventually leads to Rare Replay being released on the Switch so that we can own this game along with other Rare classics. Until that day I will be happy to be able to play this through NSO.

Another solution would be having the game boy games baked into the games so for example being able to play yellow in stadium and crystal in stadium 2

I keep hearing that there are not many games that can be added for the Nintendo 64, but the NES/SNES games have shown us that they are not afraid to put obscure games on the service.

@BANJO If it is not revealed in the next direct, my countdown clock will be reset to August 25 for the 25th anniversary of the original release.

@steventonysmith Most people who are excited for this are aware that it has not aged well, but it is an important piece of gaming history and a lot of us have very strong memories of playing the game when we were younger, so it is exciting that it will finally be available to play again.

@dew12333 it isn't just rumors though when Xbox actually has achievements for the game that can be seen.

I had been assuming Xbox would get the Remaster and Switch would only get the original N64 version, but this no show makes me think they could be getting the same version if it is revealed during the next direct (hopefully that means Switch gets the Remastered version, but fear everybody will be getting the N64 version)

Managed to score one when they were in stock last week, so I will finally upgrade to the expansion pack when it arrives
