@RupeeClock Part of the reason is that it’s a game truly at its best when the player knows absolutely nothing about the game. It’s hard to market for in all honestly and the fan base is pretty good about keeping quiet on spoilers.

This is a terrible excuse after having Odyssey come before it. That game has soooo much original characters and modifications. Heck, they even let you change Mario’s appearance!!!

I actually hate Grookey's design in the game, but I looove the this perspective. It makes me understand the direction of the game design a little more.

Honestly, I don’t know if I believe this. I was honestly ok with Ridley, Daisy, and Inklings being the only new characters since he said not to expect to many. I think this is just damage control just in case the hype gets absolutely crazy.

It’s amazing that Mario Kart is still in the charts! Also, if the other games defense, Spider-man is so much fun!

@tekknik it’s probably not the best, but it’s what a lot of streamers use and it’s great for the quality vs price. Only really major problem I have with it is that it doesn’t play nice with Mac.

I mean, what if the ballot ended about two weeks? I’m sure they saw a clear winner and chose by that point even if they allowed he website to continue.

Also, I personally voted for Bayonetta and have several friends who did as well. Said friends know several people each who voted for her. Just because you didn’t vote for her didn’t mean other people didn’t.

They say this after literally every console launch. They said it about the NX and we didn’t get the Switch for like 2 years almost. They are always in development.

@roadrunner343 Jose was around during the WiiU days and I can’t help but remember him being pretty tough on Nintendo on the usual, and almost predictable, dumb moves they made during that learning curve of an era. To each his own Though. 🙂

I absolutely love the ability the shift your direction and momentum with Cappy. That alone adds a new but a depth to 3D Mario.

@Hrimfaksi this makes sense...but I think sleep mode and suspending your game will help with that. Also, the whole premise with Switch is to take console quality games anywhere, not just handheld quality games. I would like to see games of both nature on the Switch!

I'm also sad to not see Iwata's name anywhere, but at this point, it is refreshing to see new names on awesome titles!! Nintendo is in the process of discipling a new generation of staff and I think it's an amazingly creative era!

@chardir it may not be as strongly emphasized as something like Smash Bros, but The punches obviously have different from data dependent on characters and arms. I'm worried about input errors and lag from the motion controls that leave you in a state that you can be hit in.

I still need to feel how the motion controls work. Nintendo took on a big task trying make motion controls work for a genre that requires frame perfect timing in a lot of situations.

I wonder if this we will see this more with the paid online service!
