Sure would be nice if I could read the article without having to keep scrolling around to find the spot I was reading due to the ads shifting everything around. SUPER annoying.

I’ll be honest, sadly I haven’t touched my Switch OLED in probably about 4 months. I’ve been playing my pc and Steam Deck though. I really think it’s time for Nintendo to release their new console.

I wouldn’t recommend any of the Microids Agatha Christie games after playing through Murder on the Orient Express. They took a great classic and attempted to “modernize” it, even introducing new characters with prominent roles that weren’t in the book which just made it “reimagined” garbage. Sorry, that’s my hot take but if you’re a fan of the books don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I’ve been playing Sonic since it released (yeah I’m old) and I loved the Boom games honestly. The show was even better. Much better than that mess we recently got on Netflix (Sonic Prime). Prime was nothing but battle, battle, battle and very little story and Nine was super annoying.

This whole ordeal with this is in effect leaving a nasty taste in my mouth when I say “Nintendo”.

I’m just a little salty that we didn’t get Wind Waker HD on Switch. Absolutely blows my mind Nintendo didn’t jump on that. Missed opportunity…

@SoIDecidedTo I would say yes. The aesthetics got a facelift, no more annoying camera issues, but as far as some levels feeling “dark”, that is kinda the point with the world Mickey is in with this game. He unintentionally ruined this world with thinner so it’s certainly not going to be a happy, colorful place. I think it’s a great game and definitely worth another try if I were you however I would probably hold off for sale. I think at full price it definitely wasn’t worth it. It should have released at $40 honestly. I’m sure it will have a sale around Black Friday…

I just recently finished replaying this on Steam. Love it! Such an improvement over the original and I loved the original already faults and all. Thinking about starting another replay of it in the next couple of months. I didn’t exactly get my 100% completion but came close…not that I’m a completionist with every game I play. Most games I don’t even finish due to life.

So I’m guessing at this rate I can kiss Beyond Good and Evil 2 goodbye…

Epic Mickey Rebrushed, Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection , Helldivers II….all on PC.

I’m playing my trumpet. Lots and lots of trumpet. Also went to my son’s high school band marching competition but game related I’m playing on Epic Mickey Rebrushed on my Steam Deck. Love classic Mickey.

I think Nintendo has overstepped on this one and I really hope it bites them hard just so maybe perhaps it will humble them some.

I have fond memories of playing this on Dreamcast and PS2 (still have my copies actually) but watching that just now the gameplay just seems super dated. Might wait for a sale on this one.

Honestly, and this is just MY personal opinion, but I really wish Nintendo would cut the gimmicks and just stick with making games/great consoles. We play games for games not gimmicks. I can’t tell you how much dust my gimmicky consoles have collected with all their peripherals that take up extra space and the ones that are just straight up consoles still get played occasionally. They lucked out with the Wii. Wii U was abysmal in sales and one could argue the DS/3DS was gimmicky but at least it was still pretty much a gaming system with two screens (I work with 3 monitors every day so it really didn’t bother me and it was an integrated part of the console). I don’t want to have to worry about sensor bars, bulky charging cables for huge controllers that have a giant screen, a separate charging station for said controller, etc. Just give me a console and a docking station, and a pro controller (the Switch has spoiled us). Again, just my personal opinion. Sorry if I stepped on anyone’s toes….

I think the demo played fine on both Switch and my Steam Deck/PC (yeah I tried the demo on all three). I enjoyed it back on the Wii despite its bugs but I’m a huge fan of classic Mickey (modern Mickey not so much). I’ll probably queue this up to download on my Steam Deck in a bit. Who knows, I may even grab the physical copy for my Switch at some point but I’m always kinda hesitant to buy new games for a system that’s about to be replaced since those games usually have a decent chance at getting ported to the new system.

I’m torn between picking this up for Switch or getting it on Steam. Switch would be for the OLED (I got my Steam Deck 3 months before the OLED version came out…yeah I was pretty sour about it as I would have held out for it had I known) and Steam because it looks slightly crisper on my Deck and PC. I’m not gonna double-dip though (technically triple-dip since I already own this on Wii).

Being primarily focused on the orchestral and blues scene, I legit have no clue who she is… 😬

I was really hoping this was going to release this year. It was gonna be my “holiday game” that I entertained myself with over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now I gotta find something else. First world problems I guess.

@Coolmusic I’m curious what the crossover will be as well. I’ve had a subscription since the IDW series started (just got issue 73 in the mail Friday) and been enjoying it.

@Ulysses exactly! It was nice being able to close it up with that satisfying click and just throw it in a bag without having to worry about scratching or breaking a screen.

@Serpenterror it may have been discontinued recently but they are still old design concepts from systems that Nintendo’s most recent example, which is very much so a clamshell design (Google it), released back in 2011 if we aren’t counting the 2DS XL which is still pretty much the same system based on the 2011 model. But hey, tomatoes tomotoes. That’s pretty old and this is coming from a dude in his 40’s…

I miss the clamshell design of the old Nintendo handhelds… 😞

At that price may as well just get a gaming PC…at least it would be upgradeable in the future.

Can’t be as bad as Acolyte. Yeah it’s a Disney+ show but still it falls into the entertainment category so I feel it’s fair to compare.

The game is about scantily clad women no matter how great the gameplay may be. If my son ever tried to defend a game about half naked women with the "great gameplay" argument I would be disappointed at his lack of judgement and there would still be repercussions. No matter what light you try to shine on anything you can't polish a turd.

Um, yay? I'm a little burnt out on Lego games. I did marvel super heroes and was a little let down by it. Think I'll just replay Lego City Undercover for my Lego fix if I ever need to. That title is outstanding and I don't see them putting one out that tops it anytime soon.

Wow I'm not quite sure what I make of this. I'm gonna mull it over for a week or so and post about it on my site.... I like iOS but I don't like it for the games. I hope this doesn't mean the future of Nintendo titles are watered down apps that can run on all hardware they put out. If that is the way I things I will become purely a retro gamer and not look back....or would that be not looking forward? Lol

Agreed! The Wii U is outstanding! I don't get where all this negativity about the gamepad is coming from but I love it an apparently the ones who don't will be missing out on some great titles coming that Iwata says will take full advantage of. They need to treat Wii U development much like DS and 3DS development. That would pretty much guarantee great titles.

Good for him! I'm glad he said they have "strong hardware"! Just because the PS4 and Xbone has better specs it doesn't mean the Wii U isn't a solid platform. Honestly I've had more fun with my Wii U thus far than I ever had with my Wii. It's quickly becoming my favorite system of all time. Specs aren't what makes a system.

I entered as well. It was my first time using TVii for the sports functions it's capable of. It was definitely fun and unique but at time was frustrating due to the lag times I got. There were times that a question popped up and I was unable to vote because it said the question had timed out just as soon as I received it. This may have had something to do with the fact that my Wii U doesn't have a wired connection but rather on a wifi network...
