Ouch! Why do I want this so badly. I think replay value this is a good BUT it's a AAA game price.

@electrolite77 Cruis'n Blast plays so well on Switch 2. Load times on the original Switch are so slow. Switch 2 you hardly have time to melt your brain with the super cheesy theme tune before the action kicks in now.

But according to my Facebook feed the other day a "trusted" leaker said it would be delayed as it was missing deadlines.... Honestly who are these guys and why do they pull this stuff randomly out of their arse? Anyway. Direct next week would be appreciated on my annual leave.

@HeadPirate Like when they did a massive ban wave on the Xbox 360 that banned second hand consoles? Yep I was one. Got an Xbox elite from GAME and when the ban hit a few weeks later I was banned. Took it back to the shop and they were great and explained I wasn't the only one.

Cruis'n Blast loading times no longer put you into a coma and plays smooth as butter. Very impressed.

Bought on release and enjoyed it. Got my son playing video games. I did sell it but just bought it again on Vinted for a tenner ready for the free update.

@Spider-Kev Skoda diesel. Electrics in the engine. Luckily we were parked outside. Managed to take out 3 other cars and thankfully no one was injured. Only an hour early we were parked at an IKEA in the underground parking. Could have taken out the store.
Quick edit. My wife did manage to rescue the toilet brushes bought from IKEA that were in the car leaving coats, purse, switch's and games, son's favourite comfort blanket etc to burn. Priorities.

After loosing my physical game card collection and 2x switch consoles (sons and my one) in 2020 in a car fire. I'm happy to have my games digital. Insurance covered £150 worth of contents so didn't touch a thing. Just give me affordable storage going forward.

@LavaTwilight Have my preorder with Currys. Helped I had £120 worth of Currys vouchers obtained from Microsoft reward points. Had to add each £10 individually which went down well.... Got release booked off work and fingers firmly crossed.

I have 2 white Wii GameCube controllers with the extra long cables. It's great on the Wii U and my deck with the usb to cube block. Used it on my switch so hopefully it will be usable on switch 2.

Deadlight was one of my favourite Xbox games. Great studio.

My copy is winging its way in the post. I have 2 weeks annual leave coming up as well. Getting not only my birthday in but also warioware. Happy days!

Just as I have updated to a 512gb sd card. Nice.

This was on my port wish list with bioshock and batman. I'm happy to pay what I have to experience these all time great games on the go. I am part of the the problem as I will double/triple dip on games. I'm not sorry one bit.

I have these on my Xbox. Nice games. Wouldn't double dip though. For anyone who hasn't played them they are worth a blast.

Looking at some of these comments I honestly don't know what people expected. Some amazing announcements and people still want more. Every Direct we get this.
Between this and the Xbox presentation I'm a very happy bunny.

But we still get a summer direct. It's rubbish E3 isn't what it was but honestly wouldn't want it to be the "YouTubers" event that it's been aiming for.

Love how people are judging from a trailer how this is going to pan out. If I can enjoy the absolute rot that was the last Mario movie I'm sure this will be amazing.

I'm taking my son to this as it's his birthday month and we will enjoy every minute even if it's a load of old man sacks. Why? Because it's Mario on the big screen and a father son day out. Lower your expectations that way it's going to be great. It's a Mario movie not the next Oscar bait rubbish. Enjoy it for what it is. It's got Karts for the love of god!!!

@AlienigenX Great game. My favourite Warioware a like has to be Frobisher Says on the Vita. Still dust it off for a play now and again. Real stupid fun. Also special mention to Bishi Bashi on PS1.

I'm going total radio silence from 3pm. Finish work at 5pm so will crack open a couple of cold beers and enjoy. Then come here and laugh as loads of people moaning about title x not being shown or title y not what they wanted. It's the simple things in life...

Me and my son had a blast on 2. Will wait for reviews but am optimistic about this.

ZombiU. What a game. Bought the Wii U ZombiU console. It was an amazing game that really showed what the Wii U was about. Still annoyed with Ubisoft about Rayman being delayed to go multiformat when the WiiU really needed titles.

Steamworld Dig 2. Worked as a care worker and was on a 12 hour night shift with a dying patient. Me and the other member of staff would rotate every 2 hours to sit with him. When it was my turn for a break would play that as just bought it. Kept me sane. Passed away last hour of my shift while I was sat holding his hand.

Just sits on his hands waiting for peggle 3. Sits... And sits... And sits... And sits...

Completed this co-op with my son this week. Great game!

DK mountain. Throwing a shell behind as you cross the line in first over the bridge. Hearing screams from your friends. Followed by items being thrown at your head. Happy days!

@SuperZeldaFun I totally agree about diversity but maybe by producing new characters and IP that embody this, not changing current IP and characters for this. Also agree that the larger companies need to step up, indie companies seem to be leading the way in this regard.

I'm just hungry for a Nintendo Direct! A small virus that's been doing the rounds might also have had a small impact on the development time.

Would everyone here prefer Activision sold to Google or whatever Facebook is now? I think the consumer is better off with Microsoft and there approach with game pass and streaming (might help I have game pass for the next 3 years...)

I'm hoping it isn't open world like some of the previous rumours suggested. Give me a nice linear game with interesting story.

@Outspoken honestly don't know my mother in law's playing style but not sure playing Animal Crossing is the most intense game on joy cons... Both my son and I have had no issues with our ones (but having said that we lost our first Switch consoles in a fire last year so his new one is about 1yr old and my one about 6months old.) The ones that were killed were both day 1, used a hell of a lot, my son's was second hand and both didn't drift. Luck of the draw really.

My mother in law's joy con sticks I've had to replace 3 times. Really easy cheap fix. I have put some thermal pads behind them (instead of card like the hack suggested) and have been working amazingly. I know we shouldn't have to do this but for me it's not the end of the world.

I will never understand this. But then I'm someone who plays the previous years game as part of Game Pass instead of a full fat purchase. Gone are the days of me getting sports games day one.
Now if Nintendo could do a Mario Strikers game (we all know it's got to be in development) then I would buy day one.

Am loving some of the comments that it was poor but then listening quite a few games from it that they are looking forward to... I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if a couple of the announcements were not spoiled in advance! I didn't do my usual media embargo before hand. Fool me...

Was only thinking about nes remix the other day. Would love a SNES or GBA remix. Brilliant little games!
