Can't wait. My 4yr old goes round the house humming the theme and shouting Mario after watching me play the original GameCube version. God I love the wee spud...

The multiplayer mini games kept me and my house mate occupied for ages. Great game and one I've been championing for switch since the console released. It just fits on it.

@NinChocolate Never thought I would see the year a new Toejam and Earl and SoR4 come out. Great time to be alive!

@Toshiro_Baloney It's the Streets of Rage 4 gif they released a while back. Love the series and can't wait for this one.

Dig 3... Please be Dig 3... On my 3rd play through of Dig 2 at moment. Amazing game.

Have used geoforce Now on my PC with some really good results. Can see a future in it but being the tech dinosaur I am, I'm not looking forward to it. Give me physical games and consoles any day... Grumble grumble change... Grumble grumble young people... Grumble grumble technology...

@SonicMos That's one of the plus sides. Looks like something that you would have bought in 80s. Love it. I have 4 (yes 4...) Gamecubes. The plastic look is classic but a Panasonic Q looks just amazing. Silver controller to boot.

@JLPick Have played through it twice now. When it came out and when Microsoft offered the definitive edition to owners of the original for a couple of pounds. Loved the graphical style and sound was stunning. Would happily play though a portable version again.

@wazlon Ori is an amazing game. Can't wait to get the sequel on my One X and would double dip on first one if it hits the switch.

I part of me died inside reading about the release... Timed exclusive I'm preying.

They have a great back catalogue of IP yet refuse to use it wisely. It's taken other companies and teams to produce good games around them. Give panic button Alien isolation to port so I can poo/soil/defecate myself in bed... Sure my wife would be happy with that...

Have the original plants Vs zombies on so many devices. Love it. Still have a bitter taste in my mouth from Microtransaction filled sequel. Will see how this reviews but colour me interested.

I'm currently off work with a stomach bug. What's been coming out of me both ends looks better than this... Makes the Hoskins Mario movie look like an Oscar winner!

@NickOfTime90 Think that's VR full stop for me. I played some psvr over Christmas period while stopping at my mates house. Most made me feel ill. Was only batman that I found comfortable to play. Sure the more expensive headsets and set ups are better but am not as lucky to have or try them.

@daveh30 In the same boat. My friend MacGyver'ed an old phone VR headset and tested it on his neighbours copy of Labo VR with great success ready for Mario/Zelda update. I'm tempted to try it myself if I can pick up a cheap enough one.

Now can Mario Kart go the way of smash and have an "ultimate" version! Or just release it as DLC. Would be happy. Oh DK mountain how I miss thee! Bowser shell backwards on the bridge before finishing, resulting in screams of pain from my friends... Brings back happy memories.

Surely these would only be classed as bootleg if they claimed to be legitimate Nintendo joy cons? To me it's a third party controller. Been thinking of getting an extra controller for my switch and plenty knocking around Chinese sites.

Think I've mentioned on here before that I won my Gameboy on a chocolate bar wrapper. Honestly awesome console I loved to bits.

Read another article online (yes I clicked on a "10 worst direct announcements") and this was on it... Awful article. I loved these on the 3ds and look forward to this on the switch. Remember looks ain't everything... I tell that to myself all the time.

I for one with be happily parting with cash. Love the steamworld universe and count Dig 2 as one of my favourite games. Got me through a rather bad time when it was released (part of my job is palliative care and was looking after a gentleman when it came out. Would play it after a shift to wind down.)

I don't mind digital however I'm going to need to invest in a bigger SD card. 200gb just don't cut it. Might just get a 256gb for around £25 and swap between them.

Downloading as we speak. Had to free up some space on my SD card (200gb doesn't go far now a days) which was hard decision making. Bye bye resident evil revelations 2 and stick of truth...

@Mountain_Man Would love that too. My favourite is still Asylum though. Actually took quite a bit for City to click for me, but when it did I really enjoyed it. Stopped playing Knight and traded it in. Only recently bought goty edition for my Xbox one (German import.) Going to give a play next bit of annual leave I take.

No "Battle Royal" head line... I'm disappointed.
Not a big fan of the monarchy and have said for years we should sell them off as some form of theme park attraction.

I'm mixed on smash. It's fun but wouldn't plough hours into it. I have however got to love Smash Ultimate for one amazing reason... The ability to play the sound track. Spent more time in that than the game itself.

I do like FF7 but FF9 is my favourite. It's still cool to have them on the switch. Xenogears would be a lovely addition though... One can dream.

Do I have to carry this home in a brown paper bag and store it in my sock draw...

I have only just picked this up from someone selling it cheap on Facebook. Wish I had of picked it up sooner. Started playing last night when my son went to bed a 7:30. Was still playing when my wife got home from work at 1am. It had only felt like an hour... That for me is usually the sign of a good game. Time flies when you're having fun!

Can only hope you get to screw over the other player at the end again! God I love me some streets of rage. Capcom please be working on a similar Final Fight game...

Also gutted one of the silhouettes are not kangaroo shaped...

@biglittlejake wasn't actually talking about ports... Some class first party stuff due and no doubt E3 will have some new stuff as well. As for fan boy... Ha! Sat playing borderlands 2 on my Xbox one X at moment. PS3 and PS4 sat snuggly against my Wii u, my pstv tucked by my switch, gaming PC behind TV. That's not including the consoles in the old man cave and bedside draw upstairs (Vita and 3ds get some love). Hell even my final fantasy wonderswan gets a tickle now and then. Just not closed minded when it comes to games and brand loyalty. I also don't judge people straight away as being fan boys as haven't reached nearly 40yrs old being a douche...

@biglittlejake Nothing to say that Nintendo isn't going to pump out some ports of the rest of the back catalogue. The switch is only in its 3rd year and quite frankly we are seeing some amazing stuff due out. I would be happy if they are working on ports or something new. Even if the next big Zelda adventure is on switch 2 I'm happy.

Fable trilogy. Original Xbox games. Microsoft have a nice back catalogue to work from.

I like this a lot. Sadly seeing it also makes me want a zombies ate my neighbors or ghoul patrol remake/sequel.

Animal crossing. Or Nintendo crack as I call it. When it's released I'm going to quit work, leave my wife and son, live in a cave and use a USB wood burner (Google it. It's a thing) to charge my switch and cook so I can play uninterrupted.
This is a game that would so benefit from yearly Dlc. Make it free and you got me. Have always thought the same about Mario kart as well. Just keep adding to perfection...

Oh my god yes! Is it native on the shield or streamed. If native surly it's a case of porting that. Lost so much time to this and would be my only reason to buy online for switch. Now give me bioshock collection and will be a very happy bunny!

Really hope this is switch bound (if not Xbox one). Perfect game for Nintendo's little console that could. A nice physical release would be good. SEGA need to really take stock and start pumping out some more classic IP. Would love a new monkey ball, crazy taxi, shinobi etc

EA press conference was always the one that made my skin crawl. Least I don't have to sit through it all for no news on a decent starwars game or new dead space.

I stopped collecting last year. Ended up selling them on (for a profit) and using the money to buy a big arse tent and paying for a week's camping for the family. Although I miss my Zelda collection I honestly don't regret getting rid. It really is an addiction and feel quite liberated not having them around and protecting them from the hands of a rampaging 3yr old!

Remember trading in loads of games for it when it was still the NX and we didn't know anything about it. When I picked it up on release day my friends were asking why I wanted one as "it's just a tablet". Oh how they were wrong. The worst offender now has 4 switch's in his household (8 kids...) Loved every minute and has once again got me enjoying gaming. To celebrate I'm going to play through Zelda again. Best release game ever!!

I honestly can't wait. HUGE fan of the original. Me my brother and my friends used to play this loads on the megadrive. The randomness is what made us keep coming back. That and sitting in a hot tub with hula girls! Have it on Xbox, PS3 and wii. Also have an iso of the long lost Dreamcast game sitting around somewhere as need a large cd to burn it to.
Quick edit. Also never thought I would see a year that had both this and Streets of Rage 4 in it. My boyhood Sega freak inside is squealing very high pitched (my voice hadn't broken when it these first started.)

So yet another import for me...

I won my Gameboy on a chocolate bar wrapper. Arrived via group 4 security (around the time they were busy loosing prisoners). It was packed with Tetris. What an amazing game and console. Was the only game I had for ages as couldn't afford many games. Remember my mum being a non gamer, the closest she got was getting me to boot up the fruit machine simulator on my brother's C64, going through a few sets of batteries on it. Personally this alone makes it the best game ever.

I had the Delphine soft collection on my Amiga 500. This does give me big vibes from that. Reskin of flashback or homage to it... I honestly don't care as long as it plays well. This style of game I always loved. Remember being completely blown away by another world (hell even still got the home brew version on my gba).
I would be happy to buy this. Have got flashback on the switch and will get another world. This will be worth a punt as well.

@Giygas_95 I've always gone through times like this. Interest drops in games and I sell my stuff due to being short of cash. Regret it a few months down the line. Start collection slowly again. Rinse and repeat. It's usually something Nintendo that gets me back into gaming though. GameCube, DS and switch all have the honour of lighting that gaming fire in me again.
