Kind of strange that both FE and astral chain don't sell lots in japan

This game can burn in hell. It is by far the worst in the series (well I never played ff2 but this at least runs it's money with it for worst gameplay and leveling)

@matdub IMO not really because on the internet you never know if someone's is telling the truth or just trolling. Hence why I read/watch reviews from people I trust. I could do the same thing on steam or others but it is just a hassle not worth my time.

Well Unisoft should learn to monitize their games better as what they had in this one was a 40€ experience.
For me I enjoyed what I play and I liked even more what cost me as I bought at discount for 30£ at Argos and traded it a month later for 25£ at game lol

Not thanks to me I believe I just got it yesterday. I was holding a buy because I don't usually like platinum's gameplay but after watching a few more reviews I decided to bite the bullet and let's say I put 9h in the game yesterday.... Absolutely loving it and don't understand how did people manage to finish it under 15h as after almost 10h I have just started chapter 5 (of 12 I heard)

I played a bit of it this weekend and let's say that somebody that enjoys things like one two switch will probably like this too lol

@sandman89 I am with you on this one. I couldn't finish the game. The gameplay is subpar, the story not captivating and is a very poor metroidvania

I don't have good memories of these games on the mega drive... Quite the opposite lol. They would need to rebuild the hit boxes to make them enjoyable

Bring us lost vikings collection/remaster/remake. Anything you cowards!!!

I am skipping this one for now as I in general don't like platinum gameplay but the hype is real and I might have into it at certain point.
On a separate note I played links awakening and Luigi's mansion this weekend and those look absolutely fantastic!!! (Apart from the evident slowdown on Zelda's demo. Crossing fingers they fix it)

@antdickens @damo I know the review touched a bit on this (explaining you can automate certain parts) but do you think someone that absolutely hated bayonetta because it found the gameplay extremely dull and boring could get a good experience out of this one?
P.s: honestly not trying to troll or anything. Is just that I have been half hyped for this and half on the edge because I don't normally enjoy platinum gameplay

@Nintendofan83 you're forgetting sega ages is delivering individual titles too. I don't think there is any rule at Nintendo/Sony but publishers realize they get more sales for collections

@frabbit dragon quest XI was 2 games PS4/pc 3d game and 3ds 2d 8 bit art style.
The switch version has the two versions in one game (you can change the artstyle everytime you save) on top of other goodies

@Zidentia you're right on that. I had to reduce it to 2 to achieve a comfortable balance (I usually never get music over 5 though)

I was absolutely sold on this game already, when I heard about I ran home do download it and put 3h+ into it until I got the logo screen lol and I assumed it was over for the demo. After all it still has a lot to give!! Loving it. It looks great. I saw some comparisons with PS4 and can't tell the difference in textures.

@BlackenedHalo ignore the troll. It looks great and runs great. My only complaint so far is that it pushes the switch really hard on heating in docked mode (did not have issues in handheld but have not played for very long that way)

Well definitely I am not going to trade mine for this one. My battery pack is with me everyday anyway...

I really enjoyed setsuna and sphere but I hated the demo of this one. The story is boring from the start and the gameplay is just BAD. Hope they go back to the roots but I am afraid for their future after lost sphere terrible sales

@Alucard83 you're on point on it. The worst in the series because they messed up with the RPG base mechanic. However it has the best minigame in the series...

@Tasuki it will be fun to play those versions on the train though!!
P.s: it is not Nintendo that specifies the price of third party games...

Direct hype meter exploding!!!

Everytime I log in to nes online I have about 10 new games in there and so far there is not a single game that grabbed me for more than 15 min... I just don't care about nes games and their gameplay is just too clunky for my taste. The only genre I would go there for is JRPG but unfortunately there are none. Also if next month SNES are not announced I wouldn't be surprised if it another year of speculation...

@arekdougy I don't see Nintendo providing N64 games for 20$ a year and you can be sure they won't give GameCube games for that lol (more in the line they won't release any GameCube game for 20$/each!)

I will get this. I have previously played a bit of grandia II on pc and I enjoyed it but could not finish it because pc and JRPG don't really go together you know...

I am not the biggest fan of strategy games but I recently bought Dreamworld heist and oh boy how good is that game (and way bigger than I was expecting). From that list I also have kingdom battle and is a very good game. I would like to try into the breach but I know I will suck at it

@TheRealKyleHyde they have been promoting American football a lot around here even with games played at the Olympic stadium (I passed close by a few weeks ago and it was full of fans)

Good to hear. I will go home for a few days break in that period. I will give it a go on the single player but it is a game I will never buy anyway

To be fair is the last developer I need on switch. I don't recall a worthy game from them in the last 10 years...maybe even more than that lol

@RickD lol. Smash at nearly 15M in 7 months, a port with 4M+ and a game that sold 2.4M in 3 days... I believe all AAA woukd be happy with those...

I will wait to see if there are any other minor improvements not mentioned by Nintendo (minor frame rate improvements, joy con drift solved at hardware, extra storage capacity, Bluetooth headphone by default, better screen, etc). If any of these happen I may upgrade and trade my OG

@Chandlero absolutely, just the box and code is different. People need to be carefull when buying for the next few months as the previous one will still be in inventory

@Disco_K I carry mine everyday with me on my backpack. I travel public transporsts several times a day and it is awesome to have a full gaming experience with you every time. I don't know where do you live but for me in London I don't mint carrying a 300$ device with me.
