@TheFrenchiestFry not sure what do you mean by european Amazon as as far as I know there is only Amazon store for each country and I searched on UK, Spain and France and couldn't find in any of them.

@TheFrenchiestFry pretty sure physical version won't be available in Europe at launch as even if you go to their website they provide links in the States but in Europe just say wait for confirmation...

Only played the Vesperia port on switch and really disliked the gameplay (cluncky movement and hard to set the companions AI). Had to trade it after 5h or so

At least the demo showed anyone who cared what crap the game was

I yelled last night when I watched him say Spring! Most antecipated game of the year (as silksong). The first is an absolute masterpiece

@Mr-Fuggles777 how does it work on terms of lag for you? I am asking as in my experience all cloud solutions (Steam link, GeForce now, stadia and gamepass ultimate) have noticeble lag even when just on the side of my 5G wireless router. And I am talking lag that is a deal breaker on any game not turn base. It did work fine if connectd by a link cable though

@Yanina not really as one the main thing I buy games physically is to be able to trade them in at a later date if I am not satisfied and games with partial download decrease in value very quickly.
Day one patches can be solved by soft modding if required when the stores eventually closes

As the IOS version had mixed reviews I will wait to see how this comes along in the end. It is not like switch does not have a lot of amazing JRPGs anyways lol

@Yanina I am fine with that as long as I can have the main game on the cartridge day one. Now, a box with a digital code is something that you can see the smoke getting out of my ears

@UltimateOtaku91 well when I played xenoblade Chronicles 2 for the first time I out 85h+ within 14 data as I was enjoying it that much... P.s: I do work on a full time job however I was playing on the commute journey too

@Yanina the problem is that being a Capcom game I bet it won't be on the cartridge... And on that case a potencial day One for me gets to 50% or less sale

It is a series I have 0 interest but it is good to see it working for capcom and I am expecting it to sell really well on switch (close to World numbers)

Never bought it as it is not my kind of game but good to see it reach so many people hearths during the pandemic

I use an Xbox controller on PC and for the most part A and B never come as an issue but X and Y I tend to mess up on QTE fairly Often...

@sketchturner interesting, I love Legends and I bought a copy of Origins for Wii a while back for collectors sake but never tried it. Why do you think is better?

@RobotReptile it is still a pain that someone buying a switch from next month forward won't be able to buy a digital copy... But first world problem for sure

@Bobb maybe someone proposed the demo hoping for a Sonic movie scenario where the backlash makes the big heads decide to just delay it for a year or so...

@anoyonmus the games does not need either delay or patch. It just needs to be cancelled to avoid damaging consumers...

@kobashi100 ok, I thought it did not work like in the japanese and american eshops. Refarding legality the price in Russia is different due to the fact people earn less money there. For instance on Steam buying from a region you do not live in will grant you a permanent ban and loosing all games in your account but I don't know about the e-shop specifically.

@kobashi100 not the biggest fan of buying on other regions as you are not able to buy directly with credit card and you need to have multiple e-mail accounts.
Also is kind of ilegal

I would buy this day One if the publisher did not decide europe was not worth a physical copy and on top of that the digital version way more expensive than other regions...

I am fine with the visuals and FPS but the price in europe is a no go for me atm

@Nintatious you do get stronger in a way but at the same time they keep adding challenges too so in reality you allways need to get better at the game (if you do not use the challenges you cannot upgrade because they will stop giving you the collectibles required).
I generally don't like roguelites but the story on this one is completly worth it imo

@quinnyboy58 don't know about those cases but from a quick Google search it looks like the Pokémon cards were competively banned due to balance issues so nothing to do with govern regulation. I don't see the comparison but it may be that I am missing the point

@quinnyboy58 but they aren't trying to ban anything... They are just getting it an adequate age rating.

Will wait for some gameplay before buying but so far it looks good

It is opening sooner than I was expecting and it is a sign the olympics will go ahead (something I was not sure a few weeks ago)

@dimi best case scenario is 10% than current switch lol. Just a minor upgrade in performance if at all (apart from up to 4k upscaling). No exclusive games either.

@Bearzilla823 the day one switches had some problems of warping that in many cases got into cracking. When I exchanged mine for the better battery model one shop did not take it due to warping (no cracks though)

It is not like they will delete your game/steal your cartridge though...

As a casual PC gamer for my whole adult life (the last console I played a brunch was the N64) when I saw the switch reveal I literally went on FB to post a "shut up and take my money" meme... At the time I was not sure I was going to buy it and I also never heard of the Wii U. But I ended up buying it day one and now I am 130+ games in on top of a collection of Wii, GC, ,3ds, ds and GBA and a new gaming PC...

While it can be that it also could mean a paid subscription to their catalogue of games. Just saying...

Let me know when you can grab 2 for £39.99 and I will think about it

Still going strong on Hades, got the epilogue but still have a few friendship/romances to complete.
Started yesterday dragon age 2 and so far I am enjoying it. Not sure why it is so hated as it looks fairly similar to the first one

@GannonBanned well not that easy... You have the "AAAHH!!! Real Monsters" game for the mega drive/Genesis but that is even more obscure and a little more action based.

Basically you have 3 characters with different abilities that you can swap at any moment and to get to the exit of each stage you have to solve puzzles that involve getting though enemies, traps, platforms, etc.

@GannonBanned Lost vikings are two of the best games ever made! You just need to like puzzle platformers though

Visuals and story are the only thing good about this one. The game is not a bad Zelda game but a bad game overall (the only only one I have not played is Zelda 2 but from the rest is just the only bad game)
