I see so many whining about Blitz and wishing for 1-2 instead. Yet none of you have taken a few seconds to actually explain why that is.
Is it because of the content in 1-2 having more quality?
Or is it only because of gyro controls ruining the experience in Blitz? If that is the case it could still be a great game on Switch.
For the record I have 1-2 on Gamecube myself and thought they were both great games. I have no idea about Blitz as I wasn't fond of the Wii. I thought the whole gyro controls gimmick sucked banana so hard.
So how about "Pile of Dung"? Would that be okay or are any of you freaks offended by that? It seems mission impossible speaking and writing in a way that offends no one in the 21st century. What happened to you world? You used to be cool!
Wait what..? Code Veronica is coming to Switch? That's IMO the best entry in the series.
Trivia: Did you know Code Veronica was originally intended to be RE3? Since it was in the works as a Dreamcast exclusive Sony wanted Capcom to complete a trilogy, thus releasing what we know today as RE3: Nemesis.
For those who haven't tried it and love the old RE games, Code Veronica is a must. Far better than the below average RE3: Nemesis.
Don't worry Rod. It didn't pass my bar either. I would have cancelled it too. What we forget is that although it is a sh**ty game... (and it is)... most peoples taste in video games is for the birds.
Up yours Nintendo. All My amiibos keep having no purpose and you keep making me feel like an idiot for purchasing them in the first place. So much potential, yet no game has ever come close to harvest that potential. One should think you of all companies could make something special of these.
I played it a few times back on the C64. Didn't like it. It was not a good game compared to the ton of great games the system had to offer. The sequel however, Super Wonder Boy in Monster Land, was on another level. A really good game, that I strongly recommend. Not sure it was any good on other platforms though. The graphics style on Sega looked terrible compared to the way they went with the C64 version.
I was disappointed by Resident Evil 4 back then. I'm sure I still will be. I never liked this new take on the series. The survival horror genre died with this game. IMO Resident Evil: Code Veronica was the best in the series. For those who didn't know, Code Veronica was original supposed to be RE3.
Before you go apeshit. This is my opinion. You are entitled to a different one
I like Simon's Quest, no doubt from a nostalgic point of view.
I remember as a kid returning the cartridge for repair, as I figured it must have contained an error. Eventually it was just a matter of crouching down for 10 long seconds holding an orb in front of a dead wall with no signs at all. Silly me... why didn't I think of such an "obvious" approach. Gaming today with internet and all that... it's hardly gaming at all, is it?
@ermzzz You could say that about any game. There's always one person, who might find it useful. But is one enough? No. There are too many games on this system. Therefore you should only review games which hold at least some form of interest by the masses. If there ever was a great excuse to defend why the majority of games receives an 8 on this site, it's because Nintendolife actively choose to review the better games available, ignoring games nobody cares about, which they should. It's a sensible thing to do. Would you care to see a review of Windstorm? I think not.
Don't get me wrong. I am thankful for all the hard work you guys do, reviewing so many games. But why in the name of a** would you waste valuable time reviewing games like these? There are so many other games which screams for a nice review done by you guys.
I don't get all the love for FF12. Of all the FF games I think maybe only FF15 was worse in my own humble opinion. My thoughts are mostly based on how much meat is in the story and antagonist.

Ha ha... thanks. Good laugh
Re: Review: Kill la Kill: IF - A Rare Flop From The Masters At Arc System Works
I expected this kind of score. Lovely pass which means time to do other things (gaming related of course).
Re: Nintendo Will Now Let You Upload 64 Courses In Super Mario Maker 2
I believe setting a limit which is raised little by little is a great idea.
If you could only make 1 level, would it be better than the average of the 32 levels you could make from the beginning? Yes, it would. That's why.

Re: Nihon Falcom Lacks The Ability To Release More Games On Switch, Says President
@illmatic20xx
Not for you, I or Nintendo. But it's gotta be worrying for Falcom.

Darkest Dungeon was great
Re: Nihon Falcom Lacks The Ability To Release More Games On Switch, Says President
That's worrying...
Re: Review: Streets Of Rogue - An Ambitious Roguelite With Plenty Of Role Play
So many of these games... (!)
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Shmups
I somewhat like shmups, but I hate bullet hell. It holds zero interest to me.
Could someone be so kind and advise me a list of good shmups where not too much s*** is going on at once?
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 22nd)
Comparing CTR with Mario Kart is just crazy talk. It's something you'd only hear from a drunk shouting in the streets or read on a toilet wall.
Re: Review: Rolling Gunner - An Essential Shooter That's Perfect For Newcomers And Veterans Alike
I'm sick of all these bullet hell shmups. Where are the good shmups without tons of flying shi* on the screen at once?
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th June (Europe)
Another poor made board game from AssModee?
Time to turn on the Xbox 360 instead
Re: Flyhigh Works Hosts ‘Summer Sizzlers’ Sale, 11 Switch Games Discounted
The first three on the list I'd buy, if I hadn't already.

Re: First Footage Of Milla Jovovich's Monster Hunter Movie Breaks Cover
This is just so bad… and not in a good way.

Tetris was never relaxing. I wouldn't recommend it If you have high blood pressure.

Didn't this originally get poor reviews?
Edit: It received a 6/10 on gamespot. That is not something to get excited over. Strong pass.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13th June (Europe)
@Citano
A slow insta-buy, wouldn't really be an insta-buy, would it?
Re: Nintendo Download: 13th June (Europe)
I do not see them on the list or maybe I'm blind. But the FF games are on sale as well.
Re: Get Ready For A Scare Or Two, Because The Sinking City Is Headed For Switch
Sweet sweet baby Jesus. This will do just fine replacing my Eternal Darkness hopes.
Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo Summary From E3 2019 - Day One
I'm curious about that Sunken City game. It sort of scratched my Eternal Darkness vibe.
Re: Nintendo E3 2019: What Are You Hoping For?
Why hope for a new IP, when there's so many great ones screaming for a revival? Like Eternal Darkness for instance.
On a more realistic front I hope for a Pikmin 4 announcement.
Re: Feature: Dormant Nintendo Franchises We'd Like To See Return On Switch
Eternal Darkness has so much potential for a sequel. Brilliant game.

Played this game to death on the C64. Great game!
Re: Review: Lapis x Labyrinth - A Cavalcade Of Colour And Complex Systems

Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it.
All in all, I might give this one a go. There are some elements of this game that entices me.
Re: Review: Lapis x Labyrinth - A Cavalcade Of Colour And Complex Systems

Yeah, very weird conclusion by Stephanie.
I watched a video of the gameplay and I've rarely seen a game so repetitive as this one.

No Dracula's Kiss ?
Re: Here Are The Top 30 Best-Selling eShop Games Of April 2019 (North America)
I don't understand the point of these lists.
Some games get in there just because they are on offer. Some of those never would have otherwise.
I remember a terrible game hitting the top 10 monthly sales, just because it had a 90% discount, making it basically free.
Re: Review: Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age - This Is How You Handle A Remaster
Too bad the story in this one is so poor.
Re: Bayonetta 3's Design Process Will Be Different To Past Titles, Says PlatinumGames' Inaba
Kudos to Bayonetta for actually forcing me through the entire game against all odds, since the genre is not my cup of tea to put it mildly.
I can imagine the experience is breathtaking for fans of the genre. I can certainly see why it deserves all the praise it gets.

The original D/Generation on AmigaCD32 was pretty cool.
Does anyone know if these two new games are any good? If yes, which one should you go with? The new original... or the new new?
