All I'm reading is that they didn't mess it up and I get to play Croc again with out all the usual extra steps of the getting the Saturn out or emulation hoops.
Sounds good and yeah it wasn't exactly up there with the greats of the genre back then but it has a charm that I think will carry me through a playthrough or two at least of this version.
@Jaquan Thats what I am wondering as well, as much fun as importing the physical copy via play-asia is I would love to just have an easier time getting it. I must finish SRW30th now before this arrives.
Decent review there, the negatives while I can see where the come from those are how the games were. I getting it for the time capsule of playing those games in there original format.
Day one for me as I love Yu-Gi-Oh or at least how it was back in the day as I feel like the one turn wins are a bit soul crushing in the modern game.
Awesome, Always happy with more Gundam, there has been quite a few of the this was Japan exclusive and now its remaster for the rest of the world releases this generation.
For stuff like this its great to get to play games with out the extra import steps and hoping it has English options. One of my probably impossible dreams would be proper global re-releases of the old SRW games like T or X
I don't think they have much to worry about, I can't see this not doing well unless its super broken online or a performance running terrible disaster. As slightly janky framerate wise as the beta was many people were still buying it.
@JohnnyMind Well there was more than I was expecting There is depth of field, Bloom, Light Shafts and also rain quality options. Have to play around with them to see how impactful they are but some options are better than no options.
The first game never had an auto-save feature? I feel like it did? or maybe it auto-saves more often? still good new regardless I suppose. Started the second game and the graphics sure are just 'nice' as in 'cosy' as overused as that term is, wonder what the graphics setting they added are? guess I'll boot it up and see.
That's rough, had this pre-ordered until recently but decided to wait and see and well glad I did given the reviews. I have Crystar and Crymacinah to play though from the same dev and from the sounds of this they have went a little down hill.
A characters design is one thing but game mechanics should not something a company can lock to itself,
Imagine the damage that will do to game design when some big player can see an indie title think that's a nice game mechanic... we'll have that for ourselves. Imagine the double jump or aim down sights mechanic was patented? and you could stop games unless they pay, ridiculous.
well the text issue in portable mode is annoying but I tend to play these docked more, still I hope they can patch this. I have the pre-ordered but its joining the backlog of legend of heroes games that I have haha
Ok sounds like a great pick up in a sale game, seeing this is reminding me of this amazing WRC isometric rally game called World Rally that I would love whoever owns that to do a port of.
These layoffs really suck both for the people and for what it means for the games the company will make in the future. The demands for profit and budgets have just spiraled out of control. When a game has to sell millions to break even and sometimes don't even look or play like the budget or terrible release window choices outside looking in I'm often flabbergasted.
Been playing this on my steamdeck, will double dip as it would be handy to have it on switch and easier to dock to my tv. So far its fantastic, the soundtrack is a highlight easily stacking up to the first Hotline Miami's
From the Palworlds streams I have watched it seems very much a real actual game, now its still in early access so its possible the devs could drop the project but they much have got a decent payment to get on gamepass. I will be giving it a go later as it actually looks pretty fun.
Like in Factorio I just want to eventually get production lines going like in the trailers.
I hope it runs well, Ace Combat is one of my favorite series and I really enjoyed this on Xbox and recently grabbed it on deep sale for steam deck. I might triple dip at some point.
Its like someone saw screen shots of a Cave game and missed most of the point/design. None of the enemies look like the belong in the environment in those screen shots (especially 5 were do those pipes actually go, they just sit on top of cracks. the square bases for everything is bad too) they are just placed on top of the back ground. Stuff has to look like it would be there already. Might look up a video of this but not buying it that's for sure.
The switch has so many quality shumups not trying your best is not going to go well
Really enjoying this series, started with Cold Steel III when it came to switch and beat Cold Steel IV, Working though Trails into Zero and have Azure and Reverie bought and ready for when I finish that. Some of the stuff dropped towards the end of CSIV really made me curious to play as much of the series as I can.
Surprised to see loop8 there, picked it up physical recently when it was one a decent sale on Amazon, the premise is interesting enough that I want to try at least one run through.
@Poodlestargenerica no idea. I guess maybe the controls wouldn't quite work fast enough with controller, I remember the iOS port working well enough with touch controls. You do need to be able to move stuff around and reference things fast to really deal with all the rules n regs late game. I even wrote out physical notes for playing on PC haha
Picked up Redout 2 deluxe and the Ghostbusters: remastered, been waiting on a nice deal on both of them as the discounts made more palatable as buys for games that decent but not amazing. Other than that I guess I will see if we get anymore new discounts next week.
Now this is the were true advancement in gaming graphics are all about, 1 to 1 games of cartoons. While this isn't for me it looks very clean and well done. Hope it plays well for fans of the show.
Makes me wish we had studios doing games of older stuff like Bucky O'Hare or Bravestarr etc with all the power available now.
Currently playing through Yakuza 0 at the moment, so it will be a while before I get through them all, they are really good and would be a great fit for the switch. A lot of the side missions are very bite sized (and often totally bananas) and even the main story has decent pauses between events which would fit pick up and put down portable system.
Hmm well I really liked the demo, enjoyed the combat and I like the 'BLAME like' Scenery/Story beats. I'll play it in small bursts to deal with the repetitiveness, have the Physical pre-ordered and looking forward to giving it a go.
@Magician Just got Divinity Original Sin II there as its discount myself now that you mention it, Like yourself I will give that a blast first and come back to this when its a bit cheaper. I am wanting to try Gloomhaven though. If anything the game is certainly far cheaper than trying to get the physical game.
I was hoping the switch would get the newer games as well, for a second it felt like it was going to get skipped and I would have to get them for PC or wait for the switch 2 versions haha. how just to finish my Trails back log
Great to see its pretty good, I will be getting this at some point. Still have Trails into Zero, Azure and Reverie to do first though. Going from zero to full Kiseki fan thanks to the Cold Steel switch ports has been expensive RPG time wise haha.
Great news! 13 Sentinels was amazing and really worked for me a lot more than I expected. I really hope we get more ports, Odin Sphere and Dragon's Crown would be very very welcome on switch too. One sentinel call which ends a chapter will go down in history as a great gaming moment for me.
Picked this up when it was on sale on the eshop, I like it and well I don't mind the extra characters. The designs are great and since I picked up an 8bitdo arcade stick I figure the more use of that the better. Even trying a little local coop was pretty fun too.
Great to see Armored Core doing well, I have been really enjoying it. With this success and it being FromSoftware I am hoping we might see a small wave of new mech games kinda like with the surge in souls games. I wouldn't mind more from other Devs and of course more Armored Core.
Great news, I have been trying to go more physical for switch release and given my backlog more than happy to avoid spoilers and grab physical for this next year.
I would have thought that they would save Switch 2 announcements for a direct but they would get far more eyes doing even a hint or something during Gamescom.
At this point I'm hoping mostly for stuff that will be next year as the rest of this year is pretty much done with Starfield and AC6. Oh and Baiten Kaitos, maybe they can surprise us with another Metroid Prime Remaster
Well reporting back, haven't finished it of course but its fantastic, so jet set radio I feel like I am back playing my Dreamcast again when JSR came out. Totally recommented although I did have old eshop vouchers and a load of shop coins so this cost me like £14
The 60fps mode is also a thing, I guess its unlocked in that it can drop occasionally but so far this is legit. They made this work and now I am even more confused as why they did get reviewed more early.
I am just waiting on it being availible to buy in the eshop, my twitter feed has been full of people playing the Japanese version and saying how good it is and well it runs on Switch. it seems that there is even a 60fps mode called unleash the beast in the options.
I would really like a review though but I think I'm going to take the chance.
I do love that they have 'Praise the Omnissiah' in there, and so they should when working with the machine spirits of the switch and the other consoles. Hopefully the proper unguents and incenses where applied during the programming process too.
Might double dip and pick this up on switch as well. Nice to have it portable.
All of them are worth getting, I'm might be a fan of DoDonPachi Resurrection the most but all of them are great. I own them already otherwise I would be snapping them up for the rotation. Now where is the OLED compatible flipgrip?
@JackieCMarlow It doesn't? that is weird I was sure I read that on the eshop page or in the demo somewhere. Redownloaded the demo too to see if a message popped up or something an nope guess I imagined it or got mixed up. Ah well. Fixed my comment to avoid confusion.
Reading the latest comments the purchasing issues. I ordered one there at 12:30ish GMT and the order was cancellable for a bit then updated to just view order and is still in my account so I guess I am getting one? Need to see if I get a dispatch email. Not the best customer experience.

I am surprised that warframe isn't mentioned in the article, I pity anyone who left that early to only return now or just jump in. To be fair it was kinda impenetrable unless you were super committed but even now I have no idea what I am doing. I have found the biggest offenders of this to be anything vaguely f2p if you miss 6 month or a year you are coming back to wave after wave of notice boxes telling you about events or updates or new systems.
You have to really commit to a game or its super simple like a FPS/fighter multiplayer

Re: The Hundred Line's Script Is Long Enough To Print 60 Paperback Novels
@Vyacheslav333 Oh that decides that then, was debating switch or steam for playing on steam deck. Steam version it is then.
