Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Will Feature An "Outstanding" Voice Cast

triforcepower73

Why are people wanting British voice acting? I mean I get that the first game's VAs were good. But it would make absolutely no sense to have British guys talking in an American city-ship thing. I'm with everybody that says they should have many different accents and cultures. After all, modern LA is a melting pot just like NY. And it would make sense in the "people of Earth gathering to escape" plot.

Re: Poll: Nintendo's Year of Adventure on Wii U and 3DS Promises Hundreds of Immersive Gaming Hours

@Haru17 Umm yes, Zelda is my favorite video game franchise. See my name?
And I wasn't talking about dungeon design, since XC doesn't have dungeons, or at least what most people would consider dungeons. I was talking about world design. I would rather explore XC's fantastically imaginative world than Zelda's fire area, wood area, water area, etc. for the 17th time. I still love Zelda and Zelda Wii U is my 2nd most anticipated game of this year. It looks absolutely fantastic. But XC blows any Zelda game out of the water imo.

@Haru17 Don't worry. XCX will absolutely eclipse Zelda in world design, story, and music. Zelda will probably take the cake for art and graphics, but everything else XCX will certainly be better in. I know from having played the first XC for 120 hours and it being better imo than any Zelda game I had ever played. Also about the "MMO gameplay", it's a matter of preference. Some people loved it like me and some hated it. You're probably one of those people that played it for an hour and hated it. I played it and for the first 4 or 5 hours I didn't like it. But as I got the hang of it, I started loving it, and now it's one of my favorite battle systems.

Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2015

triforcepower73

Seeing as I'm a HUUUGE Zelda fan, the fact that I'm hardly excited about Zelda Wii U compared to how excited I am for Xenoblade Chronicles X just goes to show how hyped I am for that game. And I am super excited for Zelda. But sorry, XCX is my dream game.

Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Sells Nearly 500,000 Copies on Launch Weekend, Sets US Record

triforcepower73

@Peach64 I don't know. From what I've seen, a loooooot of people are waiting for Zelda to buy a Wii U. I think Zelda will move quite a lot of units. Probably not as many as MK or SSB you're right. But still, I think Zelda could potentially sell more Wii U's than either of those two. And of course, Xenoblade is a very niche title already due to it's genre so it probably won't sell many Wii U's.

"Oh, and if you like the series’ musical offering, you’ll be glad to know that the list of available tracks in Sound Test will make your jaw hit the floor when you see it — this feature alone distracted us for more time than we’re willing to admit!" My ears are ready!

Re: Video: How Much Faster Is The New Nintendo 3DS?

triforcepower73

Well when they announced the new 3DS I hated it and said(I believe on this site) that I wouldn't be picking it up. But hearing more and more about it and reading the reviews on it, I think I've changed my mind on it.

Also time is money, so maybe with all the time that this will save during loading, it'll be a worthwhile investment.

Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Amazon Listing Says a Stage Creator is Coming

triforcepower73

@KHaceattorney But that's exactly my point. They've already made everything so much better in this than Brawl that if they include the stage builder again, it'll most certainly be much improved. And the clumsiness of Brawl's stage builder could be overcome by using the gamepad to just tap and place blocks and stuff. There are a lot of possibilities. I was honestly baffled the first time I used stage builder that they didn't take advantage of the pointer controls to just point and click where you want to place things, so hopefully they don't not take advantage of what the console offers again.
