As many people have said: Hades should've ranked higher. I'm surprised alduin even made it. I liked him, or at least the idea behind him, but I hated the battle. It was pretty lame.
And are they talking about Ganon or Ganondorf? There is a difference.
I'll buy one when I get the money. Also I don't think people can emphasize how light the controller is. I tried it out yesterday and wow! I had heard how light it was but I didn't think it was going to be THAT light.
It's pretty hilarious that this guy is saying that nintendo needs to match other companies' tech.
Umm. Hello. They're a game company. They need to match other companies' games not tech(and they're not just matched, but the top in the market). That's like saying apple needs to match the competition's games. Their a tech company so they don't need to. Nintendo's a game company so they don't need to match the competition's tech. This only goes to a certain extent, though. They do need to be moderately caught up with the competition.
I think there's enough room in the future of gaming to hold both traditional and motion controls. After all, they've hardly been around for very long and can always improve.
@Malic You realize how difficult it is to find the perfect balance between realism and charm. And even harder to please everybody with the individual aspects of each game.
"The original zelda is too hard!" "Twilight princess is too easy" "Twilight princess is too big!" "Skyward sword is too small!" "We want an orchestrated soundtrack!" "Now the soundtrack sucks, go back to midi!" As you can see, not everyone can be happy.
The only thing I would like nintendo to do with zelda, is decide what they want the series to be. They once said they want to find a way that everyone can play the games. Leave that to mario and let zelda handle the big boy stuff.
This means that xbox 720 and ps4 are going to fail tremendously in sales since the wii u isn't going to be a success. Even though current sales would beg to differ.
Well it depends on how risky devs are. If the next sony and microsoft systems are insanely powerful, devs might not want to create games for them since it'll be more expensive to develop for.
Also most people, hopefully devs too, think the wii u is going to do well while the other systems will suffer from their price. Nobody thought the wii was going to do well and then it skyrocketed in sales. I remember reading an article that said a lot of devs passed up an incredible opportunity by not developing for the wii. Maybe they'll think differently this gen.
Nintendo are sitting on a motherload of gold with the wii u. Hopefully they know that. Just release a few of these games and wii u sales will keep momentum.
I've never played earthbound before but it sounds interesting.
And this kind of relates to the other article of reinventing their major franchises, but I think it would benefit star fox greatly if it took some inspiration from star wars: battlefront 2. Mainly the galactic conquest. If they made a star fox game with something like that and online, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
@Slapshot I don't have any loyalty to one company. Sometimes I hate nintendo when they mess up something simple or make a bad choice. Sometimes I love microsoft for some of their decisions or games. The only company I don't like or at least have no interest in is sony, I admit it. As for my "proof for what I was claiming", part of it was my opinion. And for solid proof, Discostew pretty much summed it up. And sony isn't the best at learning from their mistakes.
Sony is probably the closest to dropping out of the gaming industry. I think nintendo is going to be safe for this gen. I don't really know about microsoft. They'll probably go downhill slowly.
Arguing about "hardcore" and "casual" is about as pointless as arguing about evolution and Christianity. Each side is going to defend their own beliefs and won't ever except the other side's evidence. And now to consult the new american oxford dictionary: hardcore; noun; the most active, committed, or doctrinaire members of a group or movement. Casual; adjective; not regular or permanent. So according to the dictionary there is no such thing as a hardcore or casual game. Only a hardcore or casual gamer.
....Surprisingly good. The acting wasn't half bad. Their reactions were more like a group of friends playing together and they weren't smiling gaily the whole time.
@Phle I don't understand how anybody could hate the new movie. It's the best spiderman movie made so far! It's 100% better than the original maguire trilogy!

Re: The Big Wii U Survey
Well I'm saving for an $800 trip to Orlando so I can't afford one right now. But I might be getting a job in 3 or 4 months so that'll help.
Re: The Last Story Was Almost Left Untold In North America
@Skotski I agree with you.
Re: Game of the Year: Nintendo Life's Staff Awards 2012
Put kid icarus at number one then I wouldn't care about the rest.
Re: The Nintendo 64 Kids Recall The Christmas When Santa Knocked It Out Of The Park
Brandon still looks like a kid stuffed into an adult body. And Rachel is pretty hot.
Re: Feature: Time to Vote For Your Game of the Year
Easy: Kid Icarus Uprising!
Re: Fresh Figures Suggest Nintendo DS Is The Most Popular Console Of All Time
You did it little guy!!! I always knew you could!
Re: Monolith Soft: We Want To Be Like Bethesda
Nah. Just stay monolith soft. Way better than bethesda anyway.
Re: Masahiro Sakurai: The Wait For Smash Bros. Will Be Worth It
This along with Mario Kart U or hopefully an online F-Zero will make the wii u an awesome multiplayer experience!
Re: ZombiU Producer "Disappointed" By Early Reviews
Question: How long is this game approximately?
Re: Wii U Is The "Greenest" HD Console
Nice. A little disappointing but cool at the same time.
Re: Sumo Digital: Mario Kart Should Incorporate Other Nintendo Franchises
@MrWalkieTalkie Kirby would SO win!
Re: Zelda Swap Is Collaborative Art Genius, With Added Link
The first one looks like Adventure Time styled zelda.
Re: Feature: Our Staff's Thoughts on Wii U - Part One
I want one of these so bad!
Re: Bizarre Games Related Wedding Stories Emerge
He should of had the main theme play while they were walking down the isle like every zelda fan dreams of doing.
Re: Pachter: "I think Nintendo becomes completely irrelevant"
@OnionOverlord Impressive!
Re: You Need This Legend Of Zelda Figure In Your Life
Cool! But in skyward sword he isn't the hero of time. Just saying.
Re: If Nintendo Ever Made A Mature Zelda, This Is What It Would Look Like
Maybe it's just me but it almost looks like the artist used a hint of peeta from the hunger games. Probably just me.

Re: Molyneux: Wii U Is Good, But It's Not Great
@Tsuchiya By the way, your past 5 comments have had in them.

At least he's including sony and microsoft in this too.
Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U)
@koopa_Trooper79 Well you missed out on a lot of great games. Good thing you can still play them on the wii u.
Re: Limited Edition Hyrule Historia Restricted To Just 4000 Copies
Why do these things have to be in limited quantity!? Just sell the books as a different edition!
Re: Wii U GamePad Offers Nine-Axis Controls
I think there's enough room in the future of gaming to hold both traditional and motion controls. After all, they've hardly been around for very long and can always improve.
Re: Rumour: 3DS Gearing Up For Another Price Drop
@Koto Yeah and it doesn't help them that they never learn from their mistakes. If they do make a price drop, it'll probably be very small.
Re: Reggie: Sony and Microsoft Need To React To What Nintendo Is Doing With Wii U
"They need to react to what we've done and we need to continue innovating with the Wii U and wii will."
Re: Wii U Shifts 400K Units in Début Week
@Slapshot Opposite for me.
Re: Miyamoto: Nintendo Will Offer more Support To "Committed" Third Party Developers
@AlphaIchimoru Nintendo said themselves, they focus on making the gameplay and then build the story around that.

Re: UK Retailers: Wii U Is Sold Out
I was at walmart yesterday(black friday) and they had one wii u left on the shelf. I could of picked it up if I had had $300.
Re: Review: ZombiU (Wii U)
@Tsuchiya Oh god, please don't start that!
Re: YouTube App Goes Live on Wii U
I don't have a wii u so I can't say how well it works.
Re: Review: ZombiU (Wii U)
@Malic After gamespot's skyward sword review, I don't trust them anymore.
Anyway I think I might wait a little bit until this gets a price drop.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eight
Since my wii is broke, I'm playing tom clancy's rainbow six: vegas 2 with my brother.

Wow. Music is pretty good, too.
