@-KwB- What are you talking about!?!?? Their games are usually fantastic!!! Yeah the publishers make stupid, thoughtless decisions sometimes but the developers make great games!
It needs another wii fit. And no I'm not talking about another installment in the series. I'm talking about a game that will attract casuals like fit did. I don't think releasing wii fit u is going to attract many casuals because they'll probably be content with their old version and see no need to upgrade.
One of the best ideas I've read that I think would be great to implement into the next Zelda is this: make a linear path that has a solid story and base a non-linear open world around that path. Sort of like the elder scrolls but make the main storyline feel more like a story instead of just another quest.
@retro_player_22 I thought Nintendo said a few months ago they would like to make another duo of games similar to the Oracle titles and that photo was just fan-made.
@Peach64 "They(microsoft) won't care about trying to grab a fairly low selling title like Rayman... They(ubisoft) figured by aiming at the 150 million PS3s and 360s out there, they'd have a better chance." So you think that porting a fairly low selling title to 2 consoles with a combined sales number of 150 million and putting 7 months of wii u sales on hold is a good idea? Or do you think it will sell well on those consoles?
@josephgee TP doesn't look so great now. WW still looks awesome and its older than TP. It doesn't matter if something looks real if it doesn't look good. Not that it didn't look great for a 'realistic' game at the time but it will always be harder for a 'realistic' game to withstand the test of time than a cartoony one. And WW is easily the best looking game of, if not the generation, then of all time.
I'm going through some of the early articles and wow. Some of the most commented stories have like 12 comments. Y'all sure have gained a lot more followers since then! Now we have 600+ comments on some articles.....
@TheKingOfTown You could of just copied and pasted the address for the "recent articles" then deleted the numbers at the end and put in '680'. It took about 5 seconds for me.
Come on, Ubisoft! We're all a bunch of hungry dogs who have been waiting patiently to get a delicious meal. You've been hanging the bowl over us for longer than you promised and then you told us we have to wait till you're done fixing another meal for that other pack of dogs so we all get fed at the same time. And then you give us a measly little treat, thinking that will satisfy our craving. Our deep desire.....
@Five-seveN Assuming, from one of your previous posts, you've played splinter cell before, future soldier is sort of like a combination of rainbow six and splinter cell. All of them are great games! At least the originals. I haven't played any of the new splinter cells.
@Five-seveN I guess so. I also play violin and I LOVE the violin solo in that one.
After playing that game it's hard to go back to first person shooters. They just feel so clunky. And one of my favorite aspects of the gameplay is the cover swap. It's so smooth looking!
@Five-seveN My personal favorite is Ember Hunt. It's really intense because you can try to get to the guy you're looking for stealthily or guns ablazing. Both ways are really tough especially since you're trying to beat the clock.
@Five-seveN I know right!!! I wasn't expecting much of it before I played it and I really didn't like the idea of a third person shooter. I'd only played one before and I hated it. But thanks to my brother, it's now my favorite shooter ever!
Why didn't they delay asassin's creed3 till the wii u version was ready? They said they usually release their platforms simultaneously. But when it comes to wii u, we're not important enough?
@SkywardLink98 Gosh. You really don't understand what he's saying. You said pretty much the same thing on the other article. Release the game now on wii u. Make money from wii u owners. Release the game in September on ps360. Make money from ps360 owners. That's a lot smarter of a business move than releasing the game on all platforms when a ton of other big name titles are on all of the platforms. As the vote above shows, a majority of wii u owners aren't going to be interested in this game when it comes out due to other, better games being on the platform.
@Peach64 The only way to sell consoles is to put games on it. There should be a few 3rd party devs who are brave to put games on a new system, because those are what sell the system.
As some people mentioned earlier today in the other article about rayman, I hate how when a game comes out to the ps360, it's fine to release them when scheduled and then release the wii u version later, but when it's the other way around, wii u owners are secondary.
@SkywardLink98 No he said it's better to have 7 months of wii u sales, while the ps360 versions are getting finished, and then release those instead of completely avoiding how much money they could make over that time with the wii u.
Probably the most uncaring, illogical decision Ubisoft has made. They could have made money from the 3 million people who own a wii u and the 7 months of wii u sales like @drunkenmaster76 said. And now those sales are probably going to be a lot lower than they could have been. Great job Ubidaft.
Whew! After a long, hard journey, I made it to the bottom of the comments section! Seriously, this is the most commented story on this site that I've seen.
Anyway, so much for selling a crapload of wii u's. I don't understand why they don't release the wii u version, then release the other versions in September when they're ready.
People are putting way too much trust in amazon. Nintendo hasn't even confirmed this price yet.
And OoT was well worth the $40. Enhanced graphics(including 3D), a master quest, a new boss challenge mode, and hints for newbies. All these enhancements on the best game ever made for and $40 is too much?
@Slapshot In most cases as soon as the police or anyone with a gun shows up, the attacker usually just gives up. A lot of times, mostly with the mental cases, they even commit suicide. I live in the Memphis area where a few yrs ago a shnucks employee started stabbing his co-workers. An armed civilian told him to drop the knife and he immediately did so. He saved 9 peoples' lives. There are many other cases of this happening even when the attacker had a gun. A civilian certainly could make things worse, I agree. But they could and do make things a whole lot better too.
@Five-seveN I agree 100% with everything you've said so far. Gun control is NOT the way to go. If a criminal walks up to a school and sees a gun restriction sign, he's not just going to say,"Bummer, I can't have a gun here! I guess I should just go home."
They're called criminals for a reason and I have a hunch that a couple teachers with their own guns would have a better chance at stopping one than a sign.
I don't really care about what gen is what. In the end, we'll be able to see who has the better games and who sells more consoles(Nintendo). Then EA and all the other unsupportive companies will start crying about how they missed a great opportunity the same way they did with the wii.

I really like this guy! He's a great developer and both ssbb and Kid Icarus are so much fun. He has a great design philosophy.

@Anvil They would just make their upgraded ps/xbox and then make some kind of add on, mimicking Nintendo. Same way they did with kinect and move.

@Five-seveN I've never gone out of my way to play BO2 and I've only seen it played once at a friend's house.

@Five-seveN No I'm the same way. Especially when the words are really unnecessary or used jokingly.
I think I'll try them if I get the time and money.
