Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is now right around the corner in North America — with Europe and Japan not too far behind — and the anticipation is at its peak. Thanks to Nintendo's efforts we already know most details around the game, so it's now simply a case of getting into some delicious 1080p / 60 FPS brawling.
Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel has released a fresh video to promote the release (which is 6th December in Japan) that provides a fairly comprehensive and flashy look at the game. We're talking over five minutes of action, including some attractive footage of some lesser-seen stages, all with an enthusiastic voice-over.
It certainly got us pumped for the release, so check it out and let us know what you think. We'll also be sharing our review with you today, so stay tuned.

The name Smash Tour fits better than World Smash.
Anyway, I'm getting this game this launch week.
Let's go!!!!!
I have this game pre-downloaded and ready to go, will be hitting that play button at 12:01 AM on Friday morning
LESS THAN TWO DAYS!!!
Also have my link amiibo pre-ordered along with one of the Hori battle pads, will get the GC adapter later on in the month, maybe even december
2 more Days! I hope it will be at least comparable to how good melee and Brawl was.
Reviews in about 4 hours!
@Hero-of-WiiU @TheGreatBrawler Lucky guys ,i want it so badly but thanks to region locking i need to wait 9 days to come to europe.....it sucks so much.
@platoonleaderg you guys have the money to spend on the game, I got college to pay for. >_>
@ZeroZX_Dev
I had no problem affording games in university..... though if you need the system too, then it becomes tricky.
@ikki5 Money is a problem when you don't have a job. I've applied to several places already and still nothing back.
Bowser's voice just got a lot higher.
@ZeroZX_Dev
yeah, that's the worst, I used student loan money But yeah, I know how you feel, been out of school for a year and a half now and still only able to get part time work. Luckily it is a desk job I am actually working right now
All of those control options! What about the balance board?? lol
@ikki5 at least you got something, hope you get a job in whatever field you're going to pursue.
Don't know what he's saying but it sure sounds awesome!
A white gamecube controller?! Nintendo just keeps sucking money out of me with this game. The gc adapter, lan adapter, amiibo, and now I'm going to have to import one of those beauties because I doubt they'll wash up on this side of the Pacific.
I know the Wii U isn't very popular in Japan, but since the 3DS version did so well in Japan. I am hoping a lot of people decide to jump to the Wii U version. This would do wonders for Nintendo.
Heh, 50 facts direct abridged in Japan?
Tomorrow at midnite!!!
And got 2 Amiibos also to pick up!!
Yay!
@Stu13 Mario has no mercy.
I still don't know how I feel about the board game in Smash Bros. On one hand, I love that you can play a Smash-themed Mario Party. On the other, I think it could get stale really quickly.
@Hero-of-WiiU It will definitely be better than brawl, the 3DS is better than brawl besides the fact that it's a handheld cramped version (screen, buttons and everything are cramped), but the play mechanics and speed are far better than brawl besides that. And the two matches I played at best buys E3 event of the U version were better than brawl in the 4 minutes of game time I had. I think it can compete with melee in certain aspects, especially the roster.
@wayward Lol I got 7 of those white ones in the mail from amazon just for smash. Having a smash party at midnight tomorrow, and friday night a friend's coworkers are having a party so it's gonna be on lol.
It begins in 36 & a half hours (U.S. Eastern Time)
Nintendo has me on zombie mode, must ...buy ...white... Gamecube.. controller. Seriously though I could buy a PS4 with the amount I'm going to put towards Smash bros.
THE HYPE IS REAL! I thought the hype would diminish after the 3DS version launched but now it's bigger than ever. Can't wait for friday
