Before 2 years the OLED model will lower in Price & replace the regular model.
They'll phase the regular model out, eventually.

I wanted HDR in Dock Mode, but:

Positive
1) Double the storage
2) An OLED screen.
3) Better audio in portable mode. Possibly surround enhancements?
4) Built in Lan Port

1)Better kick stand

It is worth $50 to $60 more.
I wouldn't pay any more.

Still would like to know if the HDMI port is still 1.4 or 2.0a or higher.
2.0a or higher is needed for HDR in TV mode, though is unnecessary on a OLED screen in portable mode.

We will need confirmation of which version of HDMI the new dock has.
HDMI 2.0a or higher for HDR.
The old Dock is HDMI 1.4b.

Nintendo needs an emulator, with a built-in up-scaler, for the Switch.
They had had one for the 3DS, so it should be possible on the Switch.
I'd rather have library of a ton of games to buy, than have a nostalgic, "Best Hits" app.
They should slightly, up the price for these gems, & sell them for the actual target price for people that bought the online service.
I know this seems like a rip-off, but the alternative is:
1)Every one is mad due to a Switch, library shortage.
2)Every one is mad due to a 3DS, library shortage.
3)Every one is very mad due to paying $60 for the newest 2D/HD games. You'll still be paying the $60, just wont be as upset about it.
Screw whatever business model they made with investors.
I'm still waiting for Golden Sun on either my 3DS or Nintendo Switch.

An expansion pack is being developed to add elements from Super Mario 64 DS, as well as Galaxy 2.

They should of did a Miitopia expansion, rather than make it a separate game.

When controllable characters are controlled by AI, they don't move much on the Map.
The little they do move, the slow jog, never running.
I can't swish characters, without negating specials.
The Ai from the last Hyrule Warriors Game played better than this.

The re-release of Golden Sun skipped both the Nintendo Switch & 3DS, for the Wii-U.

I would love to play Twilight Princess HD on my Nintendo Switch, it would give my Wolf Link Amiibo more purpose.

Please send both Nintendo & the Devs a message, by not buying.

You want "cloud gaming", ask Devs to target Tablets or Mobile Phones; not Nintendo.
Unless it is a game that requires online play, there should be no reason to buy into any "cloud gaming" on the Switch.

My Breath of the Wild cartridge is 1.6 pre-patched.

Another feature the Nintendo Switch needs it is HDR color. Neither the current Switch or its dock's HDMI port support it.
Without HDR:
1) there will be no need for a substantial bump in performance.
2) We would most likely get just a repeat of the last revision:
A CPU swap
A slight motherboard change for better compatibility with the new CPU. (If needed)

@Retrogamindaddy Nintendolife switched to a policy of showing screen captures from handheld mode gameplay for their reviews.

They did this as it is a mode available to all Nintendo Switch owners , including Nintendo Switch lite owners.

Does this game look better in Dock mode?

I agree with your assessment based on it being an original Xbox game.

However the install base argument is very limited.
The "Switch Pro" would eventually replace the Regular Model.

It should either hold no influence or result in a delay for additional features when played on the revision, such as higher color fidelity.

Also, there probably will be a Zelda themed, "Switch Pro", coming in 2022.

AM I THE ONLY ONE CONCERNED, THAT THE Azure Flute, WILL BE EITHER REMOVED FROM REMAKES OR LOCKED BEHIND A $25 Amiibo.

Rtx lighting is impressive, but RTX itself needs some work.
Nvidia needs to work on getting it to work better with Layered shading, Water, Fog, smoke, & Grit.
I keep seeing Devs remove grit from a game's graphics, to better show the shininess of RTX.
Are we going to keep seeing every reflective surface with less detail & more basic shading.
Are we goldfish? Should we get over-impressed by RTX making things shiny, when there are other aspects of it being neglected.

I think RTX is a great concept. One that needs some fine tuning.

This may be a half-truth.
The game has to comply with Nintendo's "battery life" standards in handheld mode.
The game is poorly optimized for any console below 2k.
I know this as my new 3060 RTX, FHD laptop, loves to get hot playing it.
Perhaps it is not just the Switch port that needs more fine tuning.

I don't care.
Nintendo should give us access all them games.
Unless its a Full-on remake, 4gb+, Zelda, Mario, or Pokémon game, they should re-release the bulk of ports digitally.

Would be cool if the L & R joycon icons, at the bottom of the Switch's home screen, got replaced with a sword & shield upon using them both wirelessly.
