Re: PSA: LEGO Retiring Multiple Nintendo Sets (UK)

@Ryu_Niiyama Idk because Iaven't got the set, but it looks like you could just rearrange the tiles on the yellow faces to turn it into a ! block. It is lego you know, you can change aspects of the model you don't like.

Re: Video: Mario & Luigi: Brothership New Trailer Highlights Battle Mechanics

Recently sailed the high seas to get Bowser's Inside Story, and it might be one of the best games ever. I think I'll buy this game just as thanks for BIS.
And I love the art style! During the ML vs Sephiroth craze people said Mario and Luigi had saturday-morning cartoon physics, and I'm so glad that's still here! All we need confirmation for now is the return of our favourite conlang Fake Italian. I hope the new VA is up to the task!

Re: Review: Tchia (Switch) - A Brilliantly Fun (And Surprisingly Adult) Animal-Hopping Adventure

@Citrus_Architect Oh lord, THANK YOU for the warning. When I read " gorgeous and mature writing" I thought it was a story like Deathly Hallows, not that stuff.
@GooseLoose1 What you said is totally true. There was a TV sitcom about muslims, and while my devoutly muslim family loved it, I doubt whether people of other cultures would. This game must be a joy to see for a New Caledonian, but I doubt people from other cultures would appreciate it as much.

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Nervous To Replay In Case They Don't Hold Up?

Pokemon Ultra Sun was my first game period and I loved it to death, even though I got stuck on one boss for a YEAR straight. But I've been spoiled by Legends Arceus and the ability to see pokemon before I fight them, and I am definitely worried that true random encounters will ruin it for me. I'm getting my 2ds modded, so I might play it with mods... anyone know what the modding scene for the gen VII games is like?

Re: No Man's Sky's 'Adrift' Update Lets You Explore An Abandoned Universe

Sounds like a good way to ease oneself in. Maybe I'll pick it up... but I'm looking for something to play alongside Outer Wilds when I get stuck on the puzzles, and more first-person space exploration doesn't sound like what I want. How different is this from OW? What's the goal exactly; fighting guys, getting rich or just finding cool stuff? My other pick would be Another Crab's Treasure because of the brilliant marketing; I know NL gave it a 5/10 but framerate doesn't bother me and I've heard the dev improved it anyways.

Re: Talking Point: Which Games Were Just The Perfect Length?

sunny63

ToTK was too long. It consumed me for most of the summer and now I haven't touched it in months. Good game while I was able to stick to it, but distinctly flawed. BotW had all it's content on roughly the same level of goodness, while TotK has much higher highs and rather lower lows.
But Bug Fables was the perfect length! The story keeps you intrigued and there's lots of side quests, but each one impacts you and the world enough that none feel like they were added to pad time.
