I was not expecting this at all lol. But as long as Nintendo are putting effort into the dlc and not removing content from the main game I'm fine with it. The dlc for Mario kart was fantastic, as long as they stay with that business model and don't do an EA star wars battlefront to us I'm fine.

I'm getting Zelda and this at launch definitely! Then April I'll pick up Mario kart and puyo Tetris. There's too many games coming out lol to be quite honest I'm glad Nintendo didn't push out more launch titles. When you have so much out on ps4 too I think it could have swamped buyers.

@rjejr Yeah that's fair enough, Mario kart is me and my wife's game. Shes definitely more of a casual gamer but she enjoys the Mario games. I cant wait to get 8 deluxe on switch with a proper battle mode lol. I think having 2 controllers already there is really handy.

I only played the first rabbids game tbh lol the shooter parts and that game where you had to smack that bunny on the head with a hammer were hilarious though XD.

Hmm...I've got my switch preordered and zelda but I'm still deciding between getting this or bomberman for a launch multiplayer game :/ oh yeah and keep in mind people this was the Japanese trailer lol there will be some cultural differences in the advertising lol. I don't see how the baby one will work in English though lol that was a pretty poor decision.

People who think the switch is selling badly obviously aren't well informed lol. It's already hard to get a preorder in America and in the UK it's doing pretty well too. Put it this way I have a friend who has a business selling video games/consoles and he was only allowed 2 switches max. Even then that was after Nintendo released another batch of consoles. Before that none of his suppliers could even let him have one lol. That NEVER happened with the Wii U and I haven't seen hype like this happen since the Wii and original DS.

Does anyone know if local multiplayer can be done across systems docked and undocked? Like can you have 2 tvs in one room with 8 player or 1 tv + 4 handhelds for 8 player?

You have really pretty backgrounds along with chibi style characters until a battle where you see full art of the characters while they attack. It makes the whole thing look very polished IMO.

I'm glad, it's a really great game. I love the art style, the controls work great and it's very generous with orbs. Put it this way, you earn 1 orb for each story mode you finish and it's 5 orbs for your first summon (gets less the more summons you do at once). Final fantasy brave exvius gives you up to 50 lapis per story mission (but the 50 is split up into mini goals) and you get one summon a day for 250 lapis (normally 500). Both games give you occasional bonuses in extra orbs/lapis/summoning tickets. I Love both games but I think Nintendo could do really well with this if more people try it out.

That's completely normal for f2p games. They're just following a general business model.

I enjoy final fantasy brave exvius and this looks similar so that's good. To those complaining I have a shed load of top tier characters and I've only ever spent about £10 in 6 months of frequent use. I would definitely say I've had my money's worth lol. As long as you can earn orbs with skill and they do events occasionally where you can earn stuff then it will be great!

Hmm I really want to know when it's coming to switch. I really want it for switch but if it's going to be much later then I would rather get a digital code for my ps4 or PC. I hope they give us more details before they force me to choose as that's a major deal breaker if they're delaying the switch release.

I shall have a look, but surely programming the feeling of an actual object bouncing around has to be more complicated than buzzes at certain reactions? I'm not a programmer so I can't really talk much on the matter. But I just think if you give Nintendo new technology and tell them to use it in a game they have already pretty much made. They're just not going to be able to do it in a short time frame. I'm not saying that HD rumble wouldn't have been great. I just think it would definitely have caused another delay and Nintendo chose the lesser evil by keeping both sides happy and playing it safe.

I am really looking forward to seeing how they will use it in splatoon and Mario though! Does anyone know if it's going to be used in Mario kart 10 deluxe? I doubt it but I would of thought it would be easier to do it in that than an open world Zelda game.

In all fairness including rumble isn't a tiny step, particularly if it's not standard rumble. You have to write into the game where the rumble will be included etc.
Here's 2 reasons why I think Nintendo probably didn't include it.

1. Another delay having to write rumble into the game.
2. It's MAIN selling point for most people is portability, you add rumble and that will kill the battery life.

I think 1 was probably the main reason and not leaving Wii u owners butt hurt (it was supposed to be out on Wii u YEARS ago). Unlike Twilight Princess where the GameCube had already had its own Zelda exclusive, breath of the wild really belongs to the Wii U. So IMO I'm just happy it's not a direct port and they bumped up the graphics a bit. It does mean that the switch's Zelda game is probably yet to come. When it does come I'm sure they will take advantage of everything the console offers. Are those fair comments?

Yeah I love Tetris and puyo pop so I'll definitely be looking out for this if it comes to the UK. On the subject of pricing I think £30 is about right for this. But I need more info as it could be worth more if theres lots to do. I play Tetris on 3DS loads with my wife so if the multiplayer is good then it will be great fun on switch.

Interesting wording, we won't be using Miiverse... Possible new Nintendo account related network? If they are getting rid of miis then that would make a lot of sense really?

On a side note I do hope they create something similar because I don't want to be using Twitter or Facebook to post gaming stuff. It's one of the things I hate about the ps4 share button. Miiverse appealed to me because you were sharing information and fun stuff with like-minded people. Most people on your regular social network don't want to be spammed with gaming screenshots etc.

Comes with dock, grip, 2 joycons, 2 wrist strap thingies. Oh and type c charger so you can charge undocked (plus ac adapter, hdmi etc)

Pshh that's annoying. I think we should get something as a bonus for this really. There are people out there that will have to buy a new console or get a refund which must suck. Depending on cost I'll probably get a physical copy for my ps4, or possibly a switch version if it's announced. The toybox was great fun so I'm not cancelling over this, but at the same time it needed to be addressed much better than this. Particularly as the core fans are probably mostly nintendo gamers.

What is up with the constant bickering about nintendo characters :/ I think characters should just be left as they are. I am a male who would never want someone like Samus Aran to be male. It's a she and she should stay a she, that's that. Link is a guy and should stay that way, same with Mario, Peach etc. Would I be against them using a different protagonist in a zelda game? No it wouldn't bother me as long as it is a proper character! I hate the idea of a solid character being turned into a shell. That is fine for games like animal crossing or pokemon but not everything needs to do that. I like having my own character (for example in pokemon) but at the same time I loved being a kid and playing as Ash in pokemon yellow (or red etc but to me it was ash). People some times need to stop focusing on everything trying to fit them and enjoy games for what they are.

Yeah I think it could be possible, or the console uses disks and the pad uses cartridges.

One if the things I noticed is that he said 'plugs into the console ' meaning that possibly the controller/mobile part of NX is probably not where most of the hardware is at. Secondly it made me think what if each game came with a cartridge (as is rumoured) AND a disk. So the disk is for the home console experience and the cartridge allows the controller/mobile part to save data and take a part of the game with you. So they could port a disk version for easier development for third parties and optionally have a secondary version with portability for those who want to go the extra mile.

I loved the first one, if they did this as a launch title for NX I'll buy day one.

I liked some of the designs, but that advert was weird as hell lol. I felt awkward just watching it, not to mention half the time I was watching some dude blowing bubbles rather than see the clothes lol.

He does really well as a parent to cope. I'm fortunate because I was born with jaundice among other stuff but because it was sorted properly I'll never have to experience what he is going through. That must suck so bad to know that someone did something that irreversible to your child. I wish him all the best and seeing as I have been meaning to take a look at axiom verge, now would be a good time lol.

Not gonna lie I feel this is a little unrealistic considering the ps4 slim is $300. If I get ps4 specs I will be expecting a ps4 price. If the hardware shines in other ways then maybe they can still pull it off at a lower price. But I don't mind paying for quality

Tbh at least since all the stuff got blocked I can actually use the app now. Before literally once about 4.30pm hit I could never get on. I even had to switch from my trainer club account to a Google account because of not being able to play. Since the update I haven't had a problem lol so IMO that shows that it was affecting the servers anyway.

Seeing as sonic 2017 Is confirmed for it then we must be talking on par with ps4 and xb1. I can't imagine the x2 would be but it's something I would be happy to be wrong about.

Yeah the pro/exclusive version. But I was on about their Redmi/hongmi phones and the mi4. If you look around you can normally find them just over 100.

I'll be buying it either way but I don't see why we couldn't get it on 3DS tbh.

Xiaomi have a few phones better spec than that for just over the 100 mark. I have their (currently) highest end phone and it's awesome.

Actually that's a good idea even if they did like a travel mode where it just stays open in the background.

I think 20mph would be fine, particularly as it would mean my bus ride to work would be much more productive lmao. But no in all honesty those saying things like people should just walk forget 2 major things. 1. Every single main series pokemon game has used bikes, including the later on games which had the mach bike (bet that did more than 10mph). 2. Not everyone has the time and or health to walk for miles and miles. Particularly those with walking disabilities may find it much easier to go around on a bike (especially if it's electric powered etc and they tend to be faster than 10mph). It's not like you lose signal going faster so really there is no major reason not to up it slightly for the more speedy bike riders if they just want to be able to hatch eggs faster.

I think by non story driven it means you aren't constantly going to be prompted to go and do an objective. I think it will be similar to most mmo where you can choose when you want to continue the story. But I think there will be a decent story line as anouma said when asked if there will be lots of character and towns etc in the game 'of course there is it's a Zelda game' lol.

Between skyward sword and minish cap? Like someone mentioned the technology does look very similar to what was seen in skyward sword. Not to mention the fact impa was in it. Plus if I remember correctly didn't the sword have to be repaired in the minish cap(that is if the master sword and four sword are somehow related)? It would however mean there was a HUGE time gap between skyward and breath of the wild and again it doesn't answer the koroks. Unless to get really weird, what if the koroks became the kokiri and then when the great sea needed land became koroks again... nah lol

They have a really nice pair of Mario high tops that for some reason are kids only. I liked them more than any of the other designs, I was proper gutted lol. I really don't like slip ons and these were high tops too

The only EA game I want is mass effect and in all fairness I have a ps4 for that if need be. Otherwise I couldn't care less about EA! Unfortunately a lot of people find their repetitive, rushed, dlc ridden crap fun. So yes, without them Nintendo will lose money, which obviously is a shame. The only PS4 EA game I've bothered with was star wars battlefront which I have played for approximately... 2 hours since I bought it. As beautiful as it looks uncharted 4 and ratchet and clank look better and they are actually fun lol.

Yeah I guess everyone is different! Either way it's an awesome game. I just found myself missing the motion/pointer controls at certain points of tpHD. I think I literally put so much time into the wii version that the control scheme just felt natural for me.

Ps4 is a decent console (better than xbone anyway) but it is definitely not kid friendly. You will struggle to find a good amount of games under 15 rated. The most annoying thing about it is its lack of being able to play psone and ps2 classics.(although they slowly are starting to bring ps2 reboots) You can't play ps3 games either (besides using playstation streaming service) so your library is very limited in that area. Ratchet and clank Is awesome though I will have to say that lol. But do some research before buying it as a console for kids
