Yes, it's that time of year (again). Our partners over at Gamer Network have put together another thrilling reader survey and we'd really, really appreciate it if you filled it out – mainly so we look like the most popular site on the network in their stats.
If you hadn't realised we are currently solely funded through advertising and whilst, to be honest, neither we nor Gamer Network care about your individual buying habits, annual income, and so on, potential advertisers do seem to care, and they need to have a picture of who they are advertising to. Hence this survey paints that picture for them – all anonymously, of course.
So, if you have 5-10 minutes to spare today we'd be really happy if you took the time to fill it out. Most questions are optional, so if you don't want to answer something, don't answer it.

Since the survey doesn't really allow us to address site specific issue, might as well offer this feedback here: I really dislike having two taglines for each reviewed game, one in the title and another in the subtitle. It makes things feel a bit disjointed and busy. I definitely prefer the old method of having the game title as the headline, and the tagline as the subtitle.
Time has flown last year. I’ll gladly fill it out like I’ve been doing for a few years now. Also for pushsquare ofcourse.

@rjejr Yeah, some truly weird questions in there. Also some of the guiding towards topics is wrong. No option to NOT choose a car or skip the "what you'd like in a car" question. I don't own one and don't plan to buy one, but I still had to answer that question before I could move on.
And "what gender do you identify yourself with?"

@PcTV not sure what is misleading? It’s a network wide survey, therefore doesn’t ask specific NL questions. We made it clear in the article what the survey is for.
@MoonKnight7 yeah, we didn’t have input into the questions as this is organised by Gamer Network, which is why we suggested not answering anything you’d rather not say, even if it is anonymous.

@antdickens it does make sense, there's no 'I think' about it. You shouldn't try to imply that the error is on his/her part. Title should be 'our partner's survey' not 'our reader survey'. Yes it's filled in by your readers, but it's certainly not your survey.
I have no idea how much euro 1 pound is... and am not willing to share my monthly income in a reader survey. Sorry guys.

For the question about next generation consoles, I’m personally not interested in getting a Series X or PS5 since I play games on my Switch (and would get the “next generation” Switch), meaning that I’m not undecided, but the other option is being uninterested in consoles, which isn’t exactly accurate either.
I filled it out, some questions didn't apply to me so I left the answers blank.

I took the survey and as it turns out, I'm not a "console gamer" apparently as I have no interest in a Playstation 5 or an Xbox. I didn't realize they had a monopoly on that term, but, guess I was wrong.

9 out of 10 links in any NintendoLife article is just a reroute to another NintendoLife article. I would appreciate it if the first thing you link is always the source website/material for your article. It's very frustrating having to sift through the entire page trying to find the actual reference link to the source.

I love checking on the site daily (even though I rarely log in or leave comments). It's nice that you focus on Nintendo games but also bring in some of the cool nindies that I never would have thought of. Your review over ACNH is the reason I began playing it as a first timer for the series.

Answering, more or less “never will I ever” to most of the questions had me pondering about a few things. I like tools, so does that mean I’m supposed to dress up like a spanner and collect plastic statues of table saws? Or when I was a recordist, was I supposed to dress up like a Neve console and collect plastic statues of Neumann microphones?

I figured you guys didn’t, and it was organized by another party. I just wanted to make you aware that some of the questions were very odd, and a bit invasive even for something that’s anonymous. I opted not to answer them.
@MoonKnight7 thanks, yeah we’ve already given our feedback that perhaps some of the questions aren’t right. At least the majority are optional. Hopefully better next year.
