I declined to go this past weekend. Went to Ubi and Disney instead. Uni is pretty disappointing and what they did to Nintendo is unfortunately no exception. Not worth spending the money. Hopefully they make it better or someone else gets the rights
@Reztobi They blocked a system that was using pirated games. When the customer stated they didn't know it was pirated and provided evidence, it was resolved.
@RupeeClock This switch was blocked as the switch 1 games weren't legit. That's what the article says when reading it. I don't know why defending piracy.
People review bombing a game because it doesn't meet their same vision are the same people who review bomb the little mermaid due to the actor's race. Another words, terrible people.
@Kiyata that isn't how businesses work. You never see any companies do that. Companies only do that when they need sales. Look at the gamecube and wii u for examples.
I don't get the hype with this game. I played it, I beat it and it was nothing special. The story was not memorable at all imo.
I like Japanese games and jrpgs, but this one didn't work.
@rvcolem1 I have a few of the suda51 games and the NMH series is the best imo. Shadows of the Damned is pretty good too. Lollipop is fun, but it is over way too quickly and there isn't much of a reason to replay it. Killer 7 is really good, I just never completed it, but I can tell there is good amount of gameplay there.
@Solomon_Rambling I played and finished both Shadows and Lollipop on the 360 after enjoying NMH 1 & 2. Shadows is really enjoyable. Lollipop is fine, but was way too short.
@Toastmaster Lenovo looks like it is using tech that we have already seen. That doesn't look very different from using an alexa powered device. Alarmo at least has new technology (for clocks), whether it is warranted or not we will see.
@Gaymer90 BotW and TotK really felt completely different from other Zelda games. BotW didn't have dungeons and was missing other elements that felt like a real Zelda game, but it was still a really good experience. When TotK came out it felt further from a Zelda game. That doesn't mean it is bad, but it isn't what I would want when I want a Zelda game.
Easily BotW. TotK uses the same overall formula, but didn't feel like a Zelda game. I ended up finishing BotW (which I've done with most Zelda title) whereas I had to stop ToTK. It felt like it was contradicting itself as it was trying to be a Zelda game, but a new type of game too. The puzzle solving most definitely is not Zelda.
Was excited about Nintendo in parks, but after seeing the rides in Tokyo, it is unfortunately pretty lame. Maybe i'll see it in person, but not something to go out of the way for. Hopefully they will make this decent.
Some voices were fine, Mario felt off in some areas. He did sound better than Pratt, but seemed odd that he was given this job with his Mario sounding this way.
I want to add onto what I said earlier. I imagine this is 7/10 now, but easily 9/10 back in the day. However Harvest Moon on DS and GameCube were both huge let downs.
I do think Stardew Valley vastly improved on this, but still would give this a solid 7 even today. There are so many hidden things in this game (photo book) it is very hard to do everything. One of the funniest easter eggs is you can drink wine in the vineyard if you use a bottle, if you drink enough you can out drink the village in a festival.
@Maulbert I really enjoyed BotW, but did not like TotK. I bought it right away and it did not feel like Zelda. There were so many issues early on that I never experienced in another Zelda game. I spent about an hour and a half in a shrine (had to look it up after) and found out that I was missing an item and couldn't complete it, then why was I allowed to go in? That was never possible in any other Zelda game. I have been frustrated with it (with other reasons too) and havent gone back.
@HalBailman Wii U didn't fail due to motion controls. It failed due to marketing/branding. Many people thought the Wii U was an accessory to the Wii. Every commercial showed the gamepad front and center with the Wii U in the distance (which did look like the Wii)

Re: Of Course Mario Kart World Is Being Review Bombed
@Dinglehopper Double Dash is fine, but it isn't the best. Sounds like nostalgia. I also 100% DD when it came out.

Re: Sony Vet Shuhei Yoshida Says Nintendo Is "Losing Their Identity" With Switch 2
Switch 2 is similar to snes and gamecube. It isn't revolutionary just tweaking and updating the previous system.
Re: Minecraft Gives Mario A Box Office Beating With Record-Breaking Opening
Still makes no sense that Jack Black was Bowser or Steve.
Re: Video: Street Fighter 6 Side-By-Side Comparison (Switch 2 & PlayStation 5)
@HugoGED
Literally what was happening on the original switch with some games. Remember, this won't be every game.
Re: Video: Street Fighter 6 Side-By-Side Comparison (Switch 2 & PlayStation 5)
@johnedwin Are either of those consoles portable?
Re: Video: Street Fighter 6 Side-By-Side Comparison (Switch 2 & PlayStation 5)
@HugoGED It literally just means a physical game that requires a download. This already existed on the original switch.

Re: Rumour: Mortal Kombat 1 Future DLC Supposedly Cancelled
@Spider-Kev
You should try to play Mortal Kombat 9 that was on the 360 and ps3. It was very good and is a great tribute to the 2D era.
Re: New Capcom Survey Wants To Know Your Thoughts About MvC Fighting Collection
the North American physical release came out months after the digital release, not sure why, but that shouldn't happen from a company like Capcom.

@Gaymer90 BotW and TotK really felt completely different from other Zelda games. Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Professor Layton And The Miracle Mask
I like NA, Japan is really dull, but Europe is the only one that features a mask.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Endless Ocean: Luminous
@Zaruboggan There is no way this game is a 4. A 4 would be a bad game and/or unplayable.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Endless Ocean: Luminous
@Nok_Sukow The people who reviewed it negatively didn't seem like they knew/understood the original games. It is very laidback, but still very fun.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Endless Ocean: Luminous
The game seems similar to the first two, so if you like those, you should like this one. Easy buy.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Endless Ocean: Luminous?
Still have the first two. They are great games on the wii, had many hours in each. Very excited to see a third entry.
Re: Poll: So, Do You Prefer Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Or Tears Of The Kingdom?
Easily BotW. TotK uses the same overall formula, but didn't feel like a Zelda game. I ended up finishing BotW (which I've done with most Zelda title) whereas I had to stop ToTK. It felt like it was contradicting itself as it was trying to be a Zelda game, but a new type of game too. The puzzle solving most definitely is not Zelda.
Re: Feature: Is Any Mario Game Genuinely 'Underrated'? - 10 Super Mario Games To Reconsider
Fortune Street.
It is a great board game video game, but people see it as a Monopoly/Mario Party title.
Re: Endless Ocean: Luminous Is Coming To Switch In May
@Truegamer79
I have Endless Ocean 1 & 2 and really enjoy both. I have been waiting for this game for a long time.
Re: More Switch 2 Rumours Surface In New "Exclusive" From Reuters
I'm hoping switch 2 has pressure sensitive triggers (like the ones Gamecube had)

Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Ports We'd Love To See In 2024
I'm still hoping for Amazing Frog, No Brakes Valet, The Neverhood and Dragon's Fury.
Re: "Fans Have Waited Many Years For A Return To Form" - WayForward On Contra's Grand Revival
@rotekps_aniger
I would give it another go. Contra 4 is really good.
Re: Review: Harvest Moon 64 - Rose-Tinted Specs Recommended For This Beloved Farm Sim
@Uncle_Franklin the introduction isn't even long. The fact the author couldn't figure out a basic maneuver is not the games fault.

Re: Reminder: Rate Your Favourite Switch Games Of The Year 2023
Should be Super Mario Bros. Wonder, easily best 2D Mario game since Mario World.
Re: Nintendo Switch "Lifetime US Unit Sales" Surpass Xbox 360
@electrolite77 I think Wii U had too many "features". With switch can easily say portable/hybrid and people get it.
With the Wii it was motion.
Re: Nintendo Switch "Lifetime US Unit Sales" Surpass Xbox 360
@HalBailman The system didn't stink.
It didn't have many games, the games it did have were good.
Re: Nintendo Switch "Lifetime US Unit Sales" Surpass Xbox 360
@HalBailman Nintendo wanted to keep "Wii" in the name as it was such a big brand. They could have done this and marketed it better as a new system.
Re: Talking Point: What Classic Sega Franchises Do You Want To See Rebooted?
Eternal Champions. Sega CD version is still great to this day.
Re: Nintendo Switch "Lifetime US Unit Sales" Surpass Xbox 360

Wii U didn't fail due to motion controls. It failed due to marketing/branding. Many people thought the Wii U was an accessory to the Wii. Every commercial showed the gamepad front and center with the Wii U in the distance (which did look like the Wii)
Re: Sega Plans To Revive Even "More" Legacy Franchises
I would really like a new Eternal Champions. That is all.
Re: Super Nintendo World Donkey Kong Power-Up Bands Revealed

Did they forget Diddy Kong is DK?
Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
Id like to see motion controls for paddle games.
Hopefully Kaboom can be added

I'm saying OoT.
I just don't understand why Link had to time travel instead of just waiting 7 years.
