I fired mine up Thanksgiving day because it had been several months and it bricked. I get a code stating the disc drive has an error . I saw some YouTube videos showing a bad fus and how it o repair. I’ll take it to a repair shop somewhere

Possibly-fingers crossed here! This could be sign of the Zelda TOTK Direct. Possibly there will be online play in the game and people on the free trial will decide to keep it after playing what is already offered especially when they see it’s required for the online play in the new Zelda game? I know it a reach but it’s exactly what I thought as soon as I read the headline. Fingers crossed!-Especially for TOFK online!

Not worth the $80 Family Pack asking price for just 2 people

We’ve had ours for 14 months. I might have played in in handheld mode 10ish times. I hope others love it in handheld mode but I’m a tv mode guy

Loved the Wii U super Mario 3D world, but I’ll have to wait a while and purchase this under a modest discount before double dipping to feel worth it. I’ll have to see how beefy Bowsers Fury portion is on the new game. That’s been my personal policy on all rehashed Switch games I purchased on previous consoles

I've never seen one in a store. I've only seen one in person once. Glad I decided to wait. It's too small and I definitely made up my mind to wait for the inevitable XL model that will arrive eventually.

The worst part about Blood Moons to me is the cut scene and annoying voice acting.

It looks like something fun and different for a couple of decent plays. I'm not shocked though, shaken up and downscaled from the usual formula. They did an impressive job with the textures, but the gameplay and ideas look like short fun. Still might pick it up.

I like the Guardian costume.

I'm still holding out for Switch XL, although I might be waiting a while. I think it will be worth it. Then Stardew Valley and Steamworld Dig 2 will mine. And will eventually pick up Rocket League sooner rather than later.

Ha! I forgot about Game Genie. I purchased one at a thrift store for Sega Genesis a few years ago and stored away somewhere. I only bought it for a keepsake item.

I caused the game to freeze countless times due to my overkill of additions.😀 . I would always fire it up again and get back to it. Tons of fun back in good ole 1991.

Awesome. I'm getting the itch to fire up the game and have a throwback day.

I never hear anyone mention how you could enter a cheat code in the beginning of the Sega Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog and have very limited access to the in game set pieces. The mode would allow you change Sonic's character into many different objects like swinging platforms, enemies, springs, rings, ect. It would then let you place them anywhere you wanted. Another cool feature is that you could move the character anywhere on the screen. This made getting the chaos emeralds a joke. I'm not one for cheating, I've played the game through free on beginning to end more than any other game I've ever played. But something about being able to do that in that game was so much fun. I don't know why more developers don't implement this idea more often. Anyway, anyone that's never had the opportunity should look up the code(because I forgot) and give it a shot. You'll spend the rest the playing the game and will come back to it every day for the next couple of weeks.

I completely agree. As soon as I saw this article I figured either Amazon UK realized they sold more than they were allotted, or Nintendo told them they weren't getting as many as expected. Either way, they could have had this stance from the get go in for they wanted to.

Stop sucking Nintendo. They damaged their brand with me time and time again. They wrote the the book on controlling inventory and creating stock shortages. They've caught lightning in a bottle so many times with the hype and they're horny as hell for more. This is exactly what they want. They are the experts. Bad Customer in the long run. Stop sucking Nintendo.

I'm just going to wait out for Switch XL. I'm sure the Joy Cons​ will be more comfortable to hold.

I'm waiting out for Switch XL. You know it's happening. That's the Nintendo way. They have done it forever with portables. Let's be honest. A bigger screen along with bigger Joy Con is inevitable. I figure Nintendo might have considered making sure this edition wasn't too big that way current Switch owners would even consider pickup up a a second one or trade in for one. Seriously, Nintendo is absolutely going to release an XL.

I'm okay to wait and hear about virtual console in a Direct. We are all on information overload anyway and I know I only expected to hear about half of what was shown. Pretty impressive E3 so far.

Nintendo needs this. A giant step in the right direction.

I think it's great EA is taking a chance and if I had a Switch I would definitely purchase this hoping it turns out great. I'm sure they would consider the Frost version for the future releases. This selling well could bring more major games. Nintendo fans and Nintendo need this to be successful.

I'm already dreading Nintendo Treehouse, I might stand alone, but for some reason I hate it. I do look forward to Metroid but have not doubts on an announcement.

I don't do tattoos but if I did it would definitely involve Nintendo. With that being said, I am strangely excited about Microsoft revealing Scorpio. I love it when a company gets somewhat shown up and responds the way they seem to have. I believe the fact that to the PS4 what slightly more powerful than XboxOne really had a negative impact. Microsoft is probably building a monster, and not that I'm interested in buying one. Just like to see what they have come up with.

I'm still trying to figure out what the loyal fans who have already purchased all of the offered items are supposed to use their points on.
Just saying, aside from a dramatic overhaul, My Nintendo would be better for Nintendo if it never existed.

Smart move upping production because not having the supply could result in customers going the Scorpio or PS4 route when the holidays arrive if Switch isn't available. Nothing like sending your business down the road because you didn't have enough. Then everything they purchase from then on is from the other business.

I'm kinda if regretting not having a Switch now.

It's hilarious how many people complain about not having voice chat while online gaming, but I think it's almost impossible to find anyone that's​ glad they don't. I'm sure they are out there but the exposure kids have to awful language and God knows what else is at an all time high. Parents would probably applaud that there child actually socializes by speaking at some point of the day instead of texting or messaging for once. If they are too young or worried about them talking to predators and not handling appropriately, then turn off voice settings. Problem solved.
This issue really holds Nintendo back because tons of children would rather play Xbox/PS4 just so they can socialize.

Switch Mini will happen and also probably an XL. Nintendo practically prints money every time they release a handheld and don't even shocked if they eventually release a NEW 2ds XL.

If they would extend the expiration time frames or better than that just remove expiration . This would be a good start. Sweeten the pot and allow converting points to eShop currency.

It looks great. Does it really have to look as good as the other platforms. If had both consoles, Id probably pick up the Switch for portability because there is practically no large visual difference. By the way I do have a PS4 and I don't have a Switch.

Sonic changed their games too much and we still haven't stopped slamming them. Now they appear to be going back to some of their traditional gameplay ideas and things are definitely looking better. I've never even played Splatoon even though I have it and I don't have a Switch, but if the game was so loved the first time, I wouldn't change much the second time. Hell, they have barely changed Mariokart in four generations and are constantly giving track repaints and we stand in line to buy those. Keep doing your thing Nintendo.

Can't agree with your your entire statement because I am certain Metroid will be announced and shown sooner rather than later.

A great console. I remember how smart of the move to slash the price and have the ambassador program and how it basically saved the 3ds. Oh Nintendo, you blew your opportunity with the Wii U and could have really changed it's fate.

Why did it get a docked a point and only has more more and possibly preferred ways to play?

That's refreshing to hear that other games have also been coming out on iOS also for quite some time. It's obvious I'm not a prominent mobile gamer. That does give me a positive outlook on Nintendo taking their actions.

Poor move to give this to IOS users for 3 months in advance. They've given the game such a negative perception and maybe for a good reason, but I don't even want to try it and have made up my mind it's not worth$10. Would have been a day one purchase. I hope Apple paid you really well.

It'll be a while before I pick up a Switch, but the way I see it is that Nintendo knew as they were designing this Switch that they would have different versions throughout the lifespan. They've done this with practically every handheld and have a great opportunity to pull it off with Switch.
I think it's obvious. I expect there to be a Switch Mini, a Switch XL, New Switch, ect. This has been there financial slugfest juggernaut money printing strategy for many years now.
Back to the system, there is bound to be an enhanced version not too far away. Oh yeah, the future handhelds will be discounted because the dock will be universal with all future Switch consoles. Everyone take a screenshot and keep it and look back 5 years from now and tell me I didn't nail it.

I've tried to convince my wife to play but she won't, but she loves watching me play. This is the first Zelda game she has ever shown real interest in. It's pretty awesome. She won't let me play it on the Wii U game pad, she wants me to put it on the big screen and turn on the surround sound. She's been really cool.

Might pick up tickets to Atlanta!
