i think splatoon is intended for children and might be a good title for them, reminds me of plants vs zombies garden warfare shooter edited so its content/material will be approved by parents for their young children, but I will probably get it anyway because Nintendo will get this right and it will be fun.
This was only a concern because someone wanted to make it concern, i think you would have trouble finding someone who cared enough to trash Nintendo or Mariokart for this profitable move. I actually find it interesting now that light has been shed on this.
This sounds like a great way to sell consoles and should go to E3 with very positive momentum. Games sell consoles, a great marketing plan could sell even more games. Nintendo needs to run wild with this game because it will live up to it's hype and very soon word of mouth will spread. Store demos also seem critical-especially if they would make them available now so people will talk about it.
The delay of Rayman Legends always left a sour taste in my mouth and the loss of the exclusivity. I was ready many months in advance to purchase this when there weren't so many Wii U games to choose from. The delay killed the Wii U Rayman Legends total sales numbers because there were too many big titles were surrounding it-Pikmin, WIndwaker, Skylanders.they missed there moment of dominance. Still might pick up the game though because I'm sure it is excellent. maybe things will turn around for Ubisoft and Wii U
The TVii function is great with NFL games and I honestly think it makes great use of the game pad and gives you something Playstation and Microsoft can't. The way it works is it will ask you statistical type questions throughout the game and keep score of how many you got right or wrong at the top. The questions are usually based on how many yards you will think a certain player will get, turnovers, tackles, first downs, if the team will score or punt on this possession, ect. There is also a timer of about 10 seconds because the game is live and that makes it even better. I found this to be very entertaining because half of the time you're watching a game you are making your own predictions in your mind anyway. This is a must for NFL fans and anyone who is not will still find entertainment value in this. My wife and I just wan't to know who's adding the questions because they are very tuned in and ask great questions.
They sold so many Wii's-likely Wii mini's, Is that a good thing? Could they see those results seven years down the road with WII U. Games and a DRASTIC console price cut for the Wii U will turn heads and sales--especially several absolutely must have games. But hard to make a profit when your giving things away. Costs and time of production for HD games is very expensive and time consuming. Always comes back to affordability on both sides of the fence.
Nintendo cares about it's customers and I'm sure they fought as hard as they could to resolve this and i would say they did it rather quickly. Thank you Nintendo.
@xj0462 I know it's hard to wait, I bought my son $150 worth of e-shop cards for Christmas and we check about every 2 hours on our Wii-U and 3DS and we finally made it to a very slow moving Wii-U e-shop once and still can't get through with the 3DS. The huge upside is the impact on developers views of the Wii-U and the install base. We will be surprised at Nintendo's Christmas turnout and they will resolve this and attempt to prevent it in the future. Gottta hate it, but you gotta love it to. Everyone will be better off in the long run. Maybe it will be resolved sooner rather than later.
This is a minor set back and we should all be patient. We can't live in the now all the time. Just give it a couple of days-possibly even a week or two, and things will be back to normal.
Could make a major influence on deciding what console to buy for people about to commit to a home console purchase, especially for younger generations who primarily play and enjoy Minecraft on a very regular basis. I would imagine it will do very well if the game is available. I welcome it.
Double Dragon was great, but the arcade version was excellent-it was released on Sega Mega Drive-getting that and possibly a 3D version would be awesome
EA, you suck, and you are definitely the most frowned upon game company in recent years. You were great once and for a lengthy period of time. You have an excellent opportunity to make a high quality FIFA, NCAA, or Madden game and pass entirely on WII U. A cheap port would even be great. You anger me so much I won't even buy the Xbox 360 NCAA because of the principal of it. You have to earn Nintendo supporters back.
Excellent video my friend, nothing cleans like very hot water, I will be digging mine out of the basement this weekend and have myself a good-ole retro throw back/flashback of childhood memories. Thanks for the info.
Madden and NCAA football are the big hitters along with FIFA. Mass Effect and Need for Speed have come and gone, Release a quality game that's not a port and the you can fairly validateyour numbers . Not to mention how many Xbox360 and PS3 consoles are already in the market. Those numbers and this article are extremely flawed.
They would sell this like crazy, and really add to their already huge fanbase. This would really help in the future for Mojang knowing fans will be ready to purchase the next Minecraft game. JOB SECURITY.
I believe this might be the first Wii U price cut and if sales momentum does not increase enough between now and the holidays, then they might have one more just before the launches of the other new consoles. Imagine, they caused alot of noise today with the price cut coming. If they had another one the news would be massive and everybody would be talking about it and really considering it. But I'm crazy, realistically it will be a long time before we see another cut. I bought my son one on launch day and we all love it. As far as an Ambassador program, I see it like we have had our fun for almost a year and I feel like the console is actually worth more than what they were selling it for. I won't have any hard feelings.
