I paid $25 for it at Walmart last year.

I usually trash Nintendo for not giving us a sole Wii U Zelda and Metroid, but my household loved Nintendoland, New Super Mario Bros Wii U, Super Smash Bros, and my personal favorite Windwaker HD.

I'll love Nintendountil the day I die but they really disappointed me by not having a dedicated Zelda title for the Wii U. I feel cheated and I'm over it without holding a grudge, but that's what I think of when I reflect on the Wii U. Now I get it, Nintendo doesn't owe us anything and I know that E3 footage wasn't actual game footage but I was sold on a Zelda game being in the works and ready sooner rather than much much later.

Sadly Zelda wasn't released in an ideal time frame when considering what Nintendo seemed to be implying. Good thing they didn't decide to wait until the next console came out to release it

Nintendo shafted it's loyal fans by not delivering a Zelda title that it definitely hinted at almost a year and a half before the launch during E3. I know that wasn't official game footage was extremely misleading to me. I bought my Wii U day one anticipating a near future release only to held off until the next console. Not holding a grudge, just calling it like I see it.

With tariffs in mind on international trades/imports, Nintendo could always consider having consoles assembled here, and imagine the jobs created in and around that. But obviously building consoles in America would sky rocket console costs and the retail price.

I firmly believe for Nintendo to drop the price so dramatically must mean they had way too many still sitting on shelves and this would give Nintendo a nice boost for Christmas considering they really have nothing else

This reminds me of when the reviewer gave Star Wars: The Force Unleashed a 3😭. Tons of readers really hammered the reviewer and rightfully so.

I wonder what thought process was behind selecting that date. Maybe they figured 2-3 weeks after Christmas the initial new from consumers recently received electronic devices would be worn off of many people's minds as many gamers begin to recover some of their sanity. I wonder if there is a set price or if they are waiting for results from the holidays to set the price.

I actually like the first one, but not having 2 player option was definitely an issue although it did have a 2 player battle mode which was cool. You could fight each other as "Ababo" and a few other characters.
I loved the Sega Genesis version of the first game because it is identical to the arcade game.
I remember the second game seeming to be quite difficult.

I agree that all is not lost, but an overhaul/reality check about how you should reward your loyal fans needs to have some priority. Please stop disappointing us.

He's a pretty decent actor and really delivers his character in "Stranger Things". Absolutely a must see show and is also based in the 80's if anyone here likes quality nostalgia. I never noticed him in the commercial though.

I bet the week after this is out in North America is when they might reveal the NX.

I have a feeling it won't be revealed in a Direct because that feels aimed at Nintendo fans and they want everyone to see it.

The name sounds like a very foul word in English. I'm shocked nobody has commented on that.

Miitomo has been very successful at being worthless. Club Nintendo may have spoiled us, but it created a standard that appears Miitomo won't come close to. I downloaded it, deleted it, gave it another attempt and deleted it temporarily until Nintendo gives me a reason to engage with it. Outfits, themes and lousy discounts, no thanks. Maybe I I'll try again later in life.

This game looks awesome. This is one of my most anticipated games coming out. I like some beatem ups. Streets of Rage, Double Dragon. Can't wait!

Possibly my favorite of all the Zelda games. I thought the controls were really good. I loved the story and was hooked from the intro. Maybe I only stand with a few, but this is on my list of favorite games. Still not buying it because I already have it.

I honestly could see Mario Galaxy being ported. Why not? Usually they do some advertising for something that would be this big, but it being a port and knowing the system should be able to handle it keeps a realistic possibility. Looks as if Nintendo might be taking a quick shot at Sony before Thursday's announcement and win a few sales. You never know, Mario Galaxy only playable on the"New 3ds" could push units. Although it still seems way to good for us to be that lucky. The genius of the idea I'd true is I know that's all it would take for me to run out and finally purchase the New 3ds. Why a Nintendo Direct along with the new design of "Galaxy" . Here's hoping for a miracle.

@Daldra . Long overdue for a price cut. They would move a ton of systems and at least generate some excitement for the games/system.

Things have become embarrassing. They need to tease a reveal date for NX or something.

I'd love another Nintendoland title. That wasn't available on the poll, but my household played it daily for a while

I saw a 40-ish something year old lady picking up a Wii thinking it's a Wii U and going to purchase it with the words coming out of her mouth at the same time to someone on her phone "I'm buying him a Wii U right now because that's what he wanted". I had to stop her in tracks and explain and then convince her that's not a Wii U. Sadly I'm sure even some children were confused. They really screwed up with the name and possibly lost millions of sales. At least that's my opinion.

I really enjoyed Rayman Legends demo and waited patiently to purchase the game and then got a bazooka to the face due to them holding out on us to release it on the added consoles. That pissed me off and I ended up not purchasing the game anyway.

That's in the ball park of what I was thinking NX would be. Some glasses type of accessory to use an an option. Not sure why I think so. Maybe because it might work really well, or maybe not. Here's hoping, maybe?

Thank-you. I see the AR switch now. Honestly I really haven't had a chance to really explore the game and I feel like an idiot that I didn't see the AR on/off switch. I can't wait to play the game where I have 4G. Right now I can really only play walking in front of my house using the Wi-Fi.

There seems like there is so much they can build on that there could be a real winner. I wish you could play when not connected to the Internet and some of the issues resolved. It doesn't allow me to use my phone's camera anymore which sucks. Overall I like it and use it daily so far.

Modern games have become like modern music. They don't appeal to me anymore. Not that they're bad games, I'm just not excited for any of these.

Nintendo should listen to you because there is a real truth to your statement. I hope someone in their company that has power reads these statements. I can honestly say Nintendo has as a very stubborn straight and narrow vision that handicaps them. They don't let their customers really inject their opinions into what they want from Nintendo. When is the last time they asked any of us? Old, stubborn, resists change, they are flooded with very dangerous business tactics that have worked well for the last 150 years, but change is needed. My Nintendo sucks

I can't wait to see how how the stereoscopic 3d glasses work with the NX when they reveal it. I also can't wait for all the 3DS games they will port over to it

Pretty good week because Zelda makes things better, even when they delay because of having to make it for the NX, I mean when using glasses as the game screen can increase the production time 😁. Just kidding. Although my gut feeling believes that the NX involves wearing glasses when on the go and TV at home if you want to. Nintendo did master eye tracking with the 3ds so I believe their might even be a 3d option added and possibly the highlight of the glasses function. Just imagine if they could port already existing 3ds games. I calling it and thinking that's what it is so here's hoping so. I posted this because the enormous elephant in the room is the reigning question of "What is NX?"

I'm excited for this now after reading this. I'm waiting for the prices of the New 3dsxl to go down

I'm in total agreement. The better bring an arsenal of power and the ease of porting games over or is might be the end all. Support your customers and stop sucking Nintendo

1.Give us a demo
2.Give us the Wii U version if we purchase the NX one

I can't stop smiling. That's hilarious, I'm thinking about checking it out now. In some sick way I love reading unrealistic insanely overly optimistic comments. I can't help it. It's so damn funny. 😂

As excited as I am about finally getting to see Zelda I can't stomach Nintendo Treehouse. I'm glad there's something extra, just wish they would do something different than Treehouse. The Directs are so much better in my opinion.

I am very pessimistic about Nintendo right now, but I bet their going to impress us with E3. Their backs are a against the wall and they are borderline from being released in the gaming world from all major 3rd parties and the majority of their loyal fan base.
ZELDA'S MUSIC will be the game changer. We'll be humming it until it comes out. I also bet they'll satisfy our appetite with a demo at some point. I'm expecting a MASSIVE open world with online play also. We can only hope.

That move shows brand integrity. Consumers will expect future games to be better and seek them. I respect a company that pulls a game that's not up to par. This speaks volumes to their companies employees and will reassure that there is a standard. That's a really bold sign of change internally and externally. I find this very intriguing and I really look forward to future developments.

Takes up TOO much space. Not very good anyway. Those points aren't very convincing. Where's Zelda? 30th anniversary kind of meaningless. They should implement that into the app.

I'm not an anime fan, but I liked what I saw. Seems like everyone jumping on the bandwagon and saying how awful it is could be trending. It's honestly pretty decent looking. I'd definitely play it. Seeing all these brutal comments had me expecting something like Mega Man Network Transmission. Possibly the worst game ever during the GameCube generation if you're unaware.

If true, hopefully this carries it's impact directly to the thoughts and decisions on future consoles. My son treats Nintendo as an outsider because of major games passing Wii U and when they do arrive they are more often than not missing something. Rarely is Nintendo ever the better choice when it comes to cross platform titles.

Nintendo should deliver miniature demo pieces once a month that will satisfy the needs of the fans. Talk about hype. Also, everyone will have tried it that has a Wii U. Opportunities
