Such a good game. Never played it until now, and I’m glad I got it! Cool to see it getting more stuff. I beat it a few times already to see some different endings, but I can see myself going back after DK.

Again… what? Both versions are on the cartridge, and that’s what I would buy. I don’t buy digital stuff.

What are you even talking about? You can still put the cartridge in a Switch 2 and see some technical benefits without getting the upgrade. The review specifically mentions it.

Uhm… no. I would say there is a third option for me over half the time.

Seems we're choosing to forget that online often offers one of the three specific choices as a non-connected course, so just continue picking that one when possible?

I never did grips and stuff like that for Switch, and I don’t plan on starting now lol

For me, the biggest thing they nailed here is the "feel " of the controls and gameplay. It's just so much fun to play - the feel of the drifting, the items, the physics... how getting hit by stuff is always a bit different depending on angle, speeds, etc. Bullet bills, for instance, usually just bump you out of the way rather than stopping you dead, same with hitting cars or barriers depending on speed. It's a joy to play!

I'm having a blast in MK World right now, but I'm planning on jumping back to one of these in a bit. I played BotW pretty extensively but never collected everything back in the day. Tears I barely scratched the surface, though I did beat it after 70 hours haha. It's nice that they're include with NSO Expansion Pack. Gives me a "free" game to bridge the gap to Bonanza.

Easy purchase. Switch 1 if all on the cart, no biggie.

It wouldn’t be a “waste” because I know I would use it a ton, but I’m holding off for now due to the price.

I’m also someone who sort of liked using the joycon with the grip, and now that they’re bigger, it’ll be even more of a non-issue.

Do a regular physical release and I’m in.

Sands of Time is one of my favorite gaming memories from high school. Played it over the summer on PS2, and it was just one of those adventures that I couldn’t wait to pick up every day and play for another couple hours.

I just keep wondering: from the business side of things, why only offer the one size? Is it a supply chain thing? Does it equate to saving oodles of money? I don't get it.

It's a great game, and it's no less great now than it was in its prior forms.

You just have to let people vote with their wallets. And they certainly have voted.

This is an improvement, for sure.

True. But nowadays most games have so many patches and DLCs… it would be extremely impractical.

This game has already had at least one major free DLC prior to this one, which is what makes me think you’re just here to stir the pot, not out of any love or knowledge for this game.

Yea, I always laugh at this: who actually pays full price for games these days, physical or digital? If you do, you’re doing it wrong. And that includes launch day. Even Nintendo games.

It all reeks. It’s all corrupt. He’s playing you with fake issues like the trans stuff (few and far between issues that should just be handled on local levels) to distract from enriching himself and his friends all at the expense of our quality of life.

Yea, I do like the game, but the jump feel is just gross.

If Switch 2 is just a more powerful Switch, then yes.

Yea, it threw me for the first couple hours, but I’m used to it now. Having a blast! Super fun game!

If you like platforming at all, I'd give it a huge recommendation. I'm loving it! (Never played the original.)

It's a classic, funky, goofy Nintendo product. I grew up with this kind of stuff in the 80s and 90s. Still don't know if my daughter is gonna want to steal it from my room lol

There are a ton of people not reading this correctly. Nothing about this means that publishers are gonna change the fact that you don't own any games you buy digitally... it just means that, most likely, the "purchase" button the eShop and other digital storefronts are gonna have to change the language to reflect reality: "license, rent, etc."
