Honestly, I blame Nintendo for giving us a system with only 32gb of memory... It's a disgrace nowadays, especially since most of the modern games take way more than that. Should have put out a system with at least 64/128 options
Nintendo is definitely working on Donkey Kong game but also you are definitely reading too much into what Reggie has said... I doubt it's even a hint, probably just a title which came to him mind first
I must be hanging around the wrong parts of Tokyo, cause I barely see any ads for Mario with the exception for local convenience store where you can pre-order the game... or maybe I'm just immune to advertisements
If Bethesda bought all the right to Fallout, and the right of Fallout 1 and 2 don't belong to Black Isle Studios anymore, I would love to see those 2 games on Switch - perfect for portable gaming!
The game looked interesting and I skipped it on Wii U, so I tried the demo on Switch but was very disappointed. I love Pokemon and all fighter games, including Smash, Tekken, Mortal Kombat etc, but Pokken somehow lacked everything what good fighter has. Can't really tell what it is, but the game just seemed boring and not engaging at all...
Hell yeah! Looking forward to this one, day one buy. Been wanting to play Doom for a while now, but didn't really have anything to play it on. More than happy to see it on Switch!
It's beautiful, but I doubt I'll ever touch 3ds again, except for new Layton game. With Switch around, it's kinda a waste of £180 unless you are a collector.
@maceng I doubt Nintendo would let Ubisoft run any commercial they want without prior approval if their beloved franchise is at stake. So yeah, I'm quite certain the ads had to go through Nintendo. As a matter of fact, Nintendo seems to be aiming all their Switch commercials toward teenagers more, rather than kids as in the past, maybe that's why we get ads like these?
@Anti-Matter You realise those ads almost certainly had to be approved by Nintendo? Does that mean you have no respect for Nintendo, even though you wrote in your profile description that you love the company? Those were made for laugh, I just don't understand how funny scenes like these can be insulting to anyone
@Anti-Matter Calm down a bit. I don't accept anything related to violence in real life, but those ads have very little related to terrorism to be honest. It's all fantasy and entertainment, bizarre situations presented for laughs. Following your logic does that mean we should stop airing all the action movies in the cinemas, because there's terror and criminal?! If you're saying the game is aimed for kids, should the movies like Lego Batman be 12+, because it contains violence and criminal organisations?! People in majority need to chill down a bit and treat entertainment as entertainment without any connections to real terrorism, wars, whatevers
Those ads are great, I laughed at all of them. Very unusual, but that's always good! The robbery one was probably the best, although the war one, where the solder dies was hilarious as well. I think they capture the stupidity and silliness of the game and while I wasn't really interested in the game before, after watching the ads I'm actually considering the purchase
@BigBadJohn You can just buy the game directly from eshop using paypal without adding any funds to other accounts. I've just bought Sonic Mania from Russian eshop via paypal for only £9.66 I think it's a great addition and will make purchases much easier!
Day one for me, happy we don't have to wait for too long Got all Layton games on 3ds (pretty much the only physical 3ds games I kept, sold everything else), this one will probably be last one, but essential to the collection Layton series is best, waiting for a Switch entry!
@Wichtel You are probably right. I guess I'd be more into it if I didn't suddenly decide that I want a team of my own characters going through the main campaign... Maybe I'll come back to the game at some point, I quite enjoyed the massive amount of content, even though it left me too confused
I bought a physical copy and spent over 30h on it... It was fun until there were WAY to many choices on how to proceed and I got confused, kept making new characters, experiencing different options and finally giving up as I didn't know what I want to do anymore in the game
Nice! Dualshock 4 is the most comfortable controller I've ever held (I love the symmetric analog sticks, wish Switch had the same setup like Wii U controllers, but I suppose that would make joycons unusable for multiplayer. No excuse for pro controller though!)
would be sweet to use PS4 controller it with Switch Looking forward to this!
I'm really surprised about how nearly everyone prefers ketchup to mayo! Was expecting to see more diversity. For me though, it's always mayo. It's good for you. It's the best food-thing people created actually and I eat mayo with almost everything
Played a little bit of the first Xenoverse on PC when it came out and loved it - especially the fact you can make your own character and the story line is VERY nostalgic. Looking forward to this one
@Shane76 Breath of the Wild, while very enjoyable, is FAR from being called a visually stunning game, thus requires less processing power as compared to the games with more 'adult' graphics.
On topic, ELEX looks really nice, sad it is being ruled out at the moment I wish Switch was more powerful, but I treat it more as an indie machine (+ 1st party games). Love those 2d games, which you can play for a short periods of time without getting too involved
I'll keep my eyes on them, but both look like $10-ish games, can't justify that $55 price for The Longest Five Minutes or $60 for Penny-Punching Princess, even though the special editions looks sweet!
If my Japanese is still any good, I believe it says the direct will be ONLY about the 3ds version of the game? Although I would love to see what's up with Switch version and western localisation
@ieatdragonz That's an incorrect view. This time, after the E3, NTDOY has reached its 52-week heights and that's quite an achievement for any stock that has been struggling for the past couple of years. So it's not really a "Reggie's sneeze" matter to be honest.
Although I agree, the main reason isn't really E3 (although that contributed) why the stock is on the rise. It's the direction where Mr. Kimishima is bringing the company. You can see a lot of licensing deal all over the place, mobile gaming, support for 3rd parties and extremely great marketing what turns into amazing sales. Investors are happy seeing that a lot of big franchises and system sellers (Pokemon, mostly) are coming to Switch.
Either way, it's a good time to be a Nintendo investor
I think of a Switch more as a portable rather than a home console, so I agree with EA and Bethesda here. Although I wish we got more games, like the new Star Wars Battlefront, or ports of Fallout IV and Doom

Re: Go On A Mystery Journey To Find The Layton Café At E3 This Year
Finally some exciting news! Is 20th of July world-wide release? I'll be getting it day one
Re: Binding Of Isaac Creator Edmund McMillen Is Bringing The End Is Nigh To Switch
@XenoShaun According to Amazon, the release date is on the 14th of July https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071HSR74W
Although Base.com lists Binding of Isaac with release date of 28th of June, so it's slightly confusing... But the price seems cheaper than the US release, so it's great.

Re: Binding Of Isaac Creator Edmund McMillen Is Bringing The End Is Nigh To Switch
@XenoShaun over here, meaning Europe? The release date is in 2 weeks if I remember correctly
On the topic, the game looks cool, I'll give it a shot!
