Re: Video: The New Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival Trailer is Seeking Happy Players

@Xenocity Splatoon and Smash aren't new games. I'm also not worried about the 3DS. It's the Wii U.
Mario Tennis is bare bones
AC: amiibo festival is bare bones and doesn't even have online support
Devil's Third has had mixed reviews and is already on PC.
Xenoblade might not get a huge marketing campaign.
I'm talking about holiday new game releases for Wii U, which is Nov-Dec. Nintendo barely has any new games that would make people buy a Wii U or as TBH (The Black Hokage) calls it, the Smash Bros machine.

@sWiTcHeRoO I'm with you with sending absurdly rude comments. Criticism is one thing, but blind hate is another.
I want one because Nintendo's holiday line up is pathetic. Xenoblade will sell, but won't move units unless Nintendo markets the heck out of it, AC:Amiibo Cash Grab will only have people getting the amiibo's. Mario Tennis looks interesting, but not enough for me to drop $60.
Even if Star Fox came out in 2015, I still doubt it would move units because Star Fox is somewhat of a medium series. However now we have to wait till 2016 to get worthy titles because right now, Nintendo is going to bomb this holiday unless Xenoblade gets a huge marketing campaign beyond Mario Kart and Splatoon.

@amiiboacid Exclusives aren't the only thing Nintendo needs. 3rd Parties are important as well. The Xbox One is actually getting exlusives only on Xbox One, but PS4 needs exclusives IMO.
Nintendo has great exclusives, but that isn't going give them the better library. None one has the better lineup (not including PC). Nintendo needs 3rd Parties for the NX. If they have that, 1st Parties and indie's, Nintendo can dominate.

@amiiboacid Hardcore NINTENDO fan.
What about a regular gamer? Somebody who buys all types of systems?
The Gamepad while a good controller, is a casual reel in.
The hardcore Nintendo fans are the people who buy it. As a person who owns all three systems + PC. I can say the PC is the best option. Wii U has 1st Party titles, and that's it. PC has both 1st and 3rd Party, plus a slew of indie games. The Wii U has many factors that show why it took the darn think 2 years to reach 10 million. It's pathetic.
