Splatoon and Mario Maker sold, but they don't seem to be going for that bundle. Even then like you said it's too late. Wii U is a L. Plus even if they bundle it, the hype has slowed down a bit. I'm just waiting for 2016 for Wii U games. 2015 for Wii U holiday is looking pathetic.
@Xenocity Splatoon and Smash aren't new games. I'm also not worried about the 3DS. It's the Wii U. Mario Tennis is bare bones AC: amiibo festival is bare bones and doesn't even have online support Devil's Third has had mixed reviews and is already on PC. Xenoblade might not get a huge marketing campaign. I'm talking about holiday new game releases for Wii U, which is Nov-Dec. Nintendo barely has any new games that would make people buy a Wii U or as TBH (The Black Hokage) calls it, the Smash Bros machine.
@Xenocity EA isn't a good company I will admit, but this holiday season is looking poor for Nintendo. Xenoblade X may not have a strong marketing campaign. Mario Tennis looks boring as ever. AC: amiibo festival also looks boring and doesn't even have online support. What does Nintendo have this year?
At this point I'm skipping most Sonic games. Ever since 2002 I've only liked Colors, Generations, and Adventure, and if Sega is too lazy to not finish their games, I see no reason to buy the next Sonic game.
It's pretty good! However I wouldn't want a Metroid movie. Most licensed movies based of games don't do too well, and even licensed cartoons or comics or other forms of media suffer the same fate such as Craptastic 4, The Last Airbender, Dragonball Evolution and others. Not to say it can't be good, but the risks are too high.
Wow. This was to replace Star Fox Zero's release date. They could have moved Xenoblade if possible, but no. Mario Tennis. It also urks me that we get a Tennis Game on both 3DS and Wii U. Why not Mario Strikers U?
People expected something huge but honestly I'm glad they didn't go full force. We need to see what can they do before we get Mario or Zelda. Now if Nintendo released Zelda and confirmed it would have microtransactions, people would throw a hissy fit. This game has it too, but I prefer getting Mii's as a test rather than a huge franchise.
What a shocker! I knew amiibo would be a hit. It's Nintendo characters as toys. Skylanders has only one person that has nostalgia, and Disney Infinity is like amiibo, but Disney Infinity is no longer about Disney. They are trying to throw in Marvel and Star Wars, which aren't Disney original. They were bought.
I'll say it again. Sonic can be good. Even Sonic Boom had potential. We don't need a classic 2D Sonic game. We need EFFORT. If Sega tries to rush Sonic Team, we will get Sonic 15.
@sWiTcHeRoO It truly feels like Nintendo has given up on the Wii U and are trying to shove in as many games as possible. However these games are either wastes of time, or a bunch of shovelware games.
@sWiTcHeRoO I'm with you with sending absurdly rude comments. Criticism is one thing, but blind hate is another. I want one because Nintendo's holiday line up is pathetic. Xenoblade will sell, but won't move units unless Nintendo markets the heck out of it, AC:Amiibo Cash Grab will only have people getting the amiibo's. Mario Tennis looks interesting, but not enough for me to drop $60. Even if Star Fox came out in 2015, I still doubt it would move units because Star Fox is somewhat of a medium series. However now we have to wait till 2016 to get worthy titles because right now, Nintendo is going to bomb this holiday unless Xenoblade gets a huge marketing campaign beyond Mario Kart and Splatoon.
I looks less like Fire Emblem though. The more I see it the more I say "This is Persona." I'll keep an open mind, but until these CGI trailers stop coming in, I have no idea what to think about this game.
I don't think HD remakes are that bad. As long as they are A. Not being advertised as something new B. They aren't overdone.
Never understood why so many people hate HD remasters. I would prefer new games as well, but their a business, and are going to try and bank off of that goodness.
@Adamario It's too late to remove it, but they could have made it an add on. Plus you could make some of those features compatible through various ways.
@amiiboacid Nintendo played their cards right with the Wii, as mobile gaming wasn't as big as it is now. However times change, and they couldn't preform the same action as before. Hopefully their mobile games attract some attention for the future.
@amiiboacid Exclusives aren't the only thing Nintendo needs. 3rd Parties are important as well. The Xbox One is actually getting exlusives only on Xbox One, but PS4 needs exclusives IMO. Nintendo has great exclusives, but that isn't going give them the better library. None one has the better lineup (not including PC). Nintendo needs 3rd Parties for the NX. If they have that, 1st Parties and indie's, Nintendo can dominate.
@amiiboacid Hardcore NINTENDO fan.
What about a regular gamer? Somebody who buys all types of systems?
The Gamepad while a good controller, is a casual reel in.
The hardcore Nintendo fans are the people who buy it. As a person who owns all three systems + PC. I can say the PC is the best option. Wii U has 1st Party titles, and that's it. PC has both 1st and 3rd Party, plus a slew of indie games. The Wii U has many factors that show why it took the darn think 2 years to reach 10 million. It's pathetic.

@Xenocity Amiibo.
People are only going to get the amiibo.
Even then EA has better things coming out such as Star Wars Battle Front.

How am I going to be happy? This is Animal Crossing Cash Grab.

It seems like Nintendo is trying to make the clown car essential to Bowser Jr. However this is TENNIS, not Smash or a platformer. This is overboard.
