Nintendo might be apologizing, but they don't seem to be fixing it. You would think that they would try to get COD BO3 or Destiny, but they didn't. Space is required for DLC and some digital purchases.
If Nintendo was upset with casuals, then they should have tried to fix it. But the Gamepad is nothing but a casual fishing rod, and it failed. A simple console is all they needed.

The Wii U is a symbol of wasted potential to me. The system had so much going for it but Nintendo thought they could pull a Wii 2. However their failure to adapt has hurt them in the long run, and the handheld sales aren't going to last them very long.

All the NX has to be is a SIMPLE SYSTEM! Any fancy gimmicks should be optional. All we need is a powerful console, 3rd Party support, and a straight foward controller. I would take a Pro Controller 2.0 for all that I care. If the NX flops, then Nintendo might be in a bad position.

But I doubt that will happen. Why should I believe that Nintendo is going to fix their mistakes with the Wii U? I see the NX being the Wii 3. An underpowered console with no 3rd party support and a cheap gimmick to try and get casuals in.

@amiiboacid Is the Wii U worth $250? Answer me that. Little 3rd Party support, barely enough space, and the Gampad is a symbol of Nintendo trying to reel in casuals. Wii U sales are never going to pick up at this point, so they might as well lower it.

I hope this is true. Would make amiibo slightly easier. It would also drive up more sales.

To people who are defending this game: We know this game's main focus is multiplayer, but it's no excuse for the broken singleplayer. Also I'm currently turned off by the micro transactions. Like I said before, I will only buy it if the price is $20.

@Kirk They did say they would like to make Shovel Knight 64, so it is possible. I don't think the amiibo is real mainly because its using the Smashified render.

@ultraraichu To me the difference is Splatoon's singleplayer was still enjoyable and I didn't come across any technical problems. In this game the Singleplayer seems very flawed.

Seeing how Shovel Knight is the most popular indie character, I wouldn't be surprised. I would LOVE for him to be in Smash. I just don't think this rumor is true. Mainly the amiibo. Now the megaton announcement, I'm 40% on this.

@Genesaur That is weird , but the Mewtwo amiibo is coming out before Falco, and Mewtwo is DLC.

I'm honestly hoping Wolf gets announced at PAX. Star Fox Zero is there, and So is Smash 4, which is already out.

As for the amiibo, once again I don't think Sakurai and his team would use a fan render. The amiibo thing is most likely fake. Shovel Knight in Smash would be cool, I will not lie, but for now, I'm on team fake.

Why can't Wolf come in Smash first?

Pre-ordering games is very scary for me. I mean why put effort into the game if the money is already there? So you can get that one item? I stopped pre-ordering games when I realized what it can do to the way our games can become.

I might buy it when the price drops to $30 to $20.

I've realized something about AC: amiibo festival, and I'm sure some people have noted this.
If Nintendo continues with the stock problem, AC:amiibo festival is doomed from the start. Yes its a free to download game, but its only free to start, not free to play. If they supply enough like they did with the Super Mario amiibo, then the game can have a couple downloads for people who actually use them for the games and not to blow off $12.00 and put it on the shelf. However if its another S&D situation, then goodbye people even downloading the game. I don't know if people will even download the game, but if they do and they can't get 4 amiibo's to even play the game, then oh well.

@fed0ra7 We wouldn't be complaining if Nintendo actually supplied enough of these things. I shouldn't have to import them across the ocean just to get the figures I want. Nintendo is acting like these things are regularly available when they really aren't. When was the last time you saw a Captain Falcon, Marth, or Shulk? They restocked Shulk, and they were gone as quickly as they were restocked. I was lucky to even get Marth, Shulk, and Pit.

If Nintendo supplied enough amiibo, this device probably wouldn't need to be created.
Anyway's Nintendo might want to get rid of the device because it could affect sales if people just give up on collecting amiibo. This is the easiest way to collect them all. I just import them from Japan at this point.
I do like these debate articles. Very cool concept. It might have been done before, but its cool!

@Wilford111 I don't hate the game, but I would purchase it to see how it would be implemented into the story. I haven't been mega pleased with the other games, but I would buy KH3 just for these worlds. If people buy a Wii U only for Smash, I don't see why I can't make personal decisions on buying a game over some worlds, which could spark my interest.

@Kimite I would be fine with that, but if they include actual worlds like The Death Star and Guardians of the Galaxy, I would spend $60 on it. I do hope it does well, but for now, its not on my radar just yet. Maybe if they include Inside Out as well.

@Kimite I'm just not the biggest KH fan. I never really loved the games, but I didn't hate them. So unless they include the Marvel Comics and Star Wars, I'm going to skip this one.

Disney Infinity 3.0 ironically reminds me why I won't pick up Kingdom Hearts 3 unless they include Marvel and Star Wars worlds.

Why the heck would they release them without charge, let alone not jail these two? If they really are released and aren't jailed I'm really going to start questioning the government even more. I don't believe they wouldn't be released, but if they are I'm going question what will happen if someone does a mass shooting.
