There are some developers on the eShop that - in a rather bizarre inversion – seem to be famous not because of how good their games are, but how bad. It becomes something of a guessing game as followers theorize over what the studio will do next and if this one will be even worse than the studio's current low. Enter Ninja Pig Studios, an Indie studio that's preparing to grace Wii U owners with yet another release this Christmas.
The game in question will be called Bigley's Revenge. The developer recently shared a screenshot of the game on Miiverse announcing its existence and it appears to be a shooter of some sort. Judging from the one screenshot, this game still needs a lot of work done, but perhaps we'll be surprised by the quality product that will arrive on the eShop one day. Then again, this is from the developer of Meme Run, so don't get your hopes up. Here's the Miiverse post:
What do you think? Are you looking forward to this game's release? What do you think of the games Ninja Pig has churned out so far? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

I'm not expecting much from this
@shaneoh I'm guessing that whoever does will end up quite disappointed! We'll have to wait and see.
@MitchVogel
Yeah, wait and see. I guess Christmas is supposed to be a time for miracles.
A game can hardly be good when it's a month away from release and it looks like the developer just bought random assets from the engine store and mixed them togheter with drawings that took two seconds...
Then again I could be proved wrong and the terrible presentation will come togheter with skillfull programming and ingenius game design.
Anyway... can you guys help me out? I can't really find the "E" button anywhere on my Gamepad ^_^;;;
@BakaKnight hahah, you won't be buying ammo dude xD
Where's your nintendo seal of quality now?
Can't wait to not buy it.
What's a bigley?
"Tap E"? Wut?
They haven't drawn the best Bigley. I mean, I know half the point is that Bigley is a semi-blank canvas for the artist to express them through, but for my tastes, the design should have a straight nose/beak, not flaccid; should have a nicely curved 'infinity symbol' style wings (not droopy), and the legs should be in an elegant swooping position, and not in a sort of awkward crouch. Oh, and the red eyes are off as well. Bigley has black eyes.
@Maxz they're fake Bigley; that's why you have to shoot them.
I wish they'd just stop. It's not funny.
"My boy, this is what true miiverse strives for!" ..and to think this all started on an educational game.
Oh...yippy skippy...
I have no idea what Bigley is but this sure looks horrible.
Someone needs to send a memo to Ninja Pig Studios that purposely bad efforts are only funny/effective if you can prove strenghts in other areas (or prove what you can do with actual effort).
When all you've shown are "for teh lulz" AND have the audacity to charge for it, that comes off as a teensy bit obnoxious, IMO...
@ToniK Bigley is a character he stole straight from Miiverse. It became a meme among Miiverse users after the whole "Ridley is too big for Smash" thing. Yes, this indie developer is stealing Miiverse-created content. Talk about low.
My God...he has returned...

I hate Bigley
I have a feeling he might try to put it on Steam again judging by the "button" needed to buy ammo lol.
For the love of... This idiot had TWO games pulled so far, and the remaining one is a wonder why it hasn't been pulled (since it's a carbon copy of someone else's free mobile game). Has he not learned his lesson YET?
Not even getting into the fact that Bigley himself is Ridley from the Metroid series. (For the non-Miiverse-savvy, he started as a joke against the "Ridley is too big for Smash argument, as parody scribbles of badly drawn Ridleys being size-compared to countries and planets and galaxies and the universe itself.)
I thought those enemies was female stickmans.
I have to admit I like NIntendoLife's hopeful optimism but the way releasing on Nintendo platform works means that the game is very much done and is trying to get to approved by Nintendo. This is very much the final product.
I guess he'll sell a lot of copies of this, all by Youtubers that want to capitalize of how bad this is.
Snark bait incoming!
Oh god... Nintendo needs to send someone to that guy's house to destroy his development kit. Now Nintendo, before it's too late!
Kill it with fire.
"From the talented studio that brought you Meme Run".
I died.
@linforcer The SoQ was gutted by the courts who judged it to be an unfair policy towards 3rd party devs. Nintendo are no longer allowed to refuse a license to sub-standard or bad games.
@Mk_II I see.
On another note, I have a feeling they ARE allowed to decide what gets sold on their own storefront...
"from the talented studio that brought you Meme My God it's So Bad Run"
The early reviews are in!
Really though, with the way Ninja Pig treated the Nintendo Life community, I don't even plan on buying a single product of their's.
So Im an artist and writer. There are many like me. Think maybe some of us could be contacted for ideas? You know, maybe help influence a real game?
If I had his resources, I'd go find me some creative help. Theres always somebody young and bloodthirsty for experience.
ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY BIGLEY.
@VR32F1END It's a dream to be able to work on games and stuff. I can't code or anything, but I come up with a bunch of ideas. I wouldn't know where to start to like get my foot in the door. I don't really know anybody personally involved with and sort of coding or game creation. But that would be something I'd love to be involved in.
this is arriving on xmas? looks like a lump of coal to me. HA
Didn't he throw a tantrum and quit making games or something?
I missed my chance to get Meme Run, so I'm setting aside $2 for this just so I have something on the Wii U to set it apart from the others when it inevitably gets pulled from the eShop.
Anyway, do indie titles on the eShop even have to have the Nintendo Seal of Quality on them? I haven't seen anything attached to them when I buy them off the eShop, and I always thought the seal was meant for physical software?
Let me guess the future review score of this game: 1/10 or maybe 2/10.
What is that thing?
For those who don't know the developer :3

@Spyke I wish. Now we get stuff like this
