Re: New Lawsuits Claim FIFA Is Built On "Illusionary And Addictive" Pay-To-Win Mechanics

@phamster not the same thing. I didn't spend 60 dollars for an arcade game and then have the life's sold to me. Or have to buy each ghost.

@Zuljaras honestly cigarettes and alcohol are both taxes heavily to encourage people not to use them. You also can't sell them to people below a certain age. Surely everyone can agree those are common sense measures. Why don't they apply here?

@LoveEmpath you're free to your opinion but the person who holds the rights and the person who created the work doesn't have to be the same. Canon just means that a work is considered part of a universe officially. Officially could mean the Creator and not the person who owns the rights. It's really a rather silly thing to even discuss.

But just for giggles Kos-Mos is in Xenoblade 2 as a driver officially so there's your Canon.

@LoveEmpath if you read Xenogears perfect works you would see how Xenogears and Xenosaga would have been connected so it's a little much to say they're unrelated.

Next, these games are pretty hard to get these days. I own them but I bought them over 10 years ago. Emulation is one of the reasons there is such a demand for games like this. It's not like they did well when they were released so I doubt emulation cost them that many sells then and now they don't make any money off the resell market.
Also some ports have been really bad so I personally don't blame people for wanting to see a product in action before they commit. I wouldn't commit to buying a car I've never seen run.

@Crono1973 there's a difference between negative and ridiculous. Acting as though they should have done more for this game than they did for 7 or 9 is ridiculous.

People expect way too much. If they had done more and charged more everyone would whine about price and it being a 20 year old game. It literally doesn't matter what they do, someone will complain.

Re: Switch's NES And SNES Games Will No Longer Be Added Monthly

lordzand

It's 20 dollars for a whole year. I pay 14.99 a month for Xbox. A lot of you would complain if they switched models and you had to pay more for you supposedly so badly want.

For now, you're getting plenty. If virtual console came back you'd only be able to get like 2 games for the price of one year.

Re: Guide: Where To Buy The New Nintendo Switch With Better Battery Life And Screen

lordzand

I don't see the point personally. Everywhere has plugs anyway to charge things these days because of Smart phones and my battery last just fine portably particularly if you use airplane mode.

Even my work has plugs in the break room. If people want it great but it's not getting a performance boost at all and saying it is like at least one comment here does is misleading.
